One week later. The cantherium fleet picks up several legions of kataphraktoi and toxotoi along with new recruits such as varangian guard and jinets. They leave for their arranged meeting place with the pope in Rome. ----------------------------------- The fleet docks in the Roman harbor. Falchion exits while a crowd gathers. He pushes his way through all of the way to his waiting cataphract horse. He rides to the cathedral in the middle o the city and enters to find the pope talking with an archbishop. "My, holyness. I have arrived by order of the Bishop of Nicaea.. Allow me to fromally introduce myself as Admiral Falchion of the Byzantine resistance. ((suprise!)) I have come to ask fro your help in the form of a Crusade to take back Constantinople and possibly the Holy lands." "Ah, my son. I have been expecting you. Long have i waited fro such news of someone who shared the view of my grandfathers. I am a descendant of the Pope of the First Crusade and I do grant you permission. I also grant you the other Catholic countries consent as I have already informed them. A force of 76 million awaits you in Greece. They are from the far reaches of the Catholic kingdom of Europe. I bid you Godspeed." "I thank you for your blessing." Falchion walks out of the cathedral and makes his way back to his ship. "Were offTo GReece. Chart the course." He retires to his cabin and writes a letter to be delivered to Kibo an Storm back in the Caribbean. "As i said, I can do anything. Im off to Greece now to pick up 76 milion troops. And I heard you saying I cant speak french very well." Admiral Falchion

Storm laughed upon reading the letter.
"It does seem our good friend can move heaven and Earth to get an army. But it yet remains to be seen if he knows how to command them and their respect. And if he can improve his french any becuase he really does have a horrible accent."

Kibo laughs.
Kibo: 76 million? He can't coordinate that. It'll take too long to get orders from one side to the other. Besides, 76 million men are nothing up against some of the forces of this world. Necromancy being one of them, as a matter of fact... I could probably kill that army using only the spirits I can summon. It'd take a hell of a long time, though. But it's possible. If they don't find me.

"Go hide in their ranks. Unless you need proximity to them or verbal commands, that is. I'd give you a bag of crowns for every man dead, if you did."

Kibo: I'm feeling generous today. I'll only take out about 4,000 men.
He snaps his fingers, and a single spirit appears.
Kibo: Renji, my friend! Long time no see!
The man looks up, and grins, showing several missing teeth.
Renji: Kibo! I was wondering when you'd summon me again. And who's this?
He looks over at Storm.
Kibo: Renji, this is Storm, captain of this lovely vessel, the Dagger.
Rengi: Do you serve here, then?
Kibo: *laughing* Oh come now, you underestimate me! I'm an Admiral now.
Renji gasps, then begins to laugh.
Kibo: Anyway, down to business. I need you to go over to Greece, and take a tiny bite out of an army for me.
Renji: Alright. How many do you want me to kill?
Kibo: 4,000. The army's about 76 million strong.
Renji: Jesus!
Kibo: Yeah. Here, I'll drop you there.
Kibo traces a rune in the ground. Renji steps it on it, and Kibo touches the edge. Immediately, a large hand comes from the ground, grabbing Renji around the torso, and dragging him into the ground.
Kibo: There. Renji's a necromancer, a lot like me. He was picked and trained by Captain Farind. He's quite the ambitious one.

Storm shook her head.
"That just looked painful, being draged into the ground by a giant hand. I don't care if you are a spirit or not. By the way, how can a dead man be a necromancer?"

Kibo: Farind's dead, and he's a necromancer. All you need is the right technique. He can bring himself to life fully. He just needs someone to raise his spirit first. And as for the hand, it is painful. Incredibly painful. It feels like all your muscles are being ripped from the bone. However, being a spirit, he can't feel it. That's why I didn't bring him to life.

Kibo: Nah. We're both Necromancers. Our idea of a "joke" is sneaking up behind the other, stabbing him in the back with a dagger, and raising him again after he dies. It's a... particular sense of humor.

The fleet lands on the shores of Tripoli. "Ah. the lands shall be under the true commanders of Catholisism!"He turns to his army, "Now, with my crusade this will be the end of the Muslim control! MArch fourth and bring the Church Victory!" The army yells in unison their approval. Narrator(( xd )): 'The lands of holy scripture and the ancients are ripped to shreds over several months. Tripoli-Edessa- even Turkey fall to Falchions reign. The losses on both sides are great, but Falchion seems to mysteriously keep his army in continual growth and nothing stands in his way.' Falchion: "Yes, we march on the last of the Muslim castles tonight! constantinople shall be our last plight in our reign. Noone shall be left alive. the true church will be in full control! Now begin the siege!" Narrator: 'These are the last moments of the lands of the Muslim empire:' The Muslims were overwhelmed. The Gyraneaopolis’ were overwhelming to the hard worked on fortress. It with its hundreds of fortified walls and the Gyraneaopolis’ with their unstoppable power, nothing could save the last of the Muslims. They were goners. But, the siege halted as Admiral Falchion stepped forward in front of the final wall. He called out, “Muslim dogs, before you die I would like to say something to you.” The Muslim sultan came out of his castle boldly and looked over the edge, “What is it?” “May your spirit never come back, may you rot in hell for eternity, may you be suffered the punishment of a thousand deaths for what your ancestors did to The Holy Lands. Now you sleazy Islams, come out and let me cut out your stomach and hang you by your entrails to be seen by all of those who despise your kind. You have thirty minutes.” The Sultan stood appalled by this speak towards him the almighty sultan of Islam, appointed by the Imam himself. Anger flushed into him and he rallied all of his troops as he stepped down from the wall. “My brezeren. My believerz. I apologize for my ancestorz for doing zat which zey ‘ave done and sealing your fates four eternity. But as vone last stand for ze Muslims of all Holliness. Let us rally our forcez and repent for heaven as we kill the scoundrel! FOR Allah!” The crowd is astonished and bewildered by the events but the speech spurs a trust that they have a chance in winning. Not one man is left who does not fight. “FOR Allah!!!!” The forces of the castle rally and begin swarming out of the doors in an attempt similar to Thermopylae. They are quickly done away with by hidden Kataphraktoi cavalry that ambush them from each side of the opened gate. The battle is over with only a few Cantherians killed or wounded, but every Muslim being mercilessly slaughtered. Thus ending the rule of the Muslims and ultimately leading to the True church ruling all.

Kibo suddenly doubles over, clutching his head with both hands. He falls to his knees, his face hidden from view. After a few moments of shaking, he rises to his feet, revealing a manic smile that was unlike any of his others. Kibo: He did it. The fool did it. This calls for a change in plans. Kibo holds his finger out, and crooks it. A small bird flitters down. Kibo scrawls on a tiny piece of paper, and ties it to the bird's leg. The bird takes off, and seems to disappear from sight. Several thousand miles away, Renji looks up, just in time to see the tiny scrap fall from the sky. He smiles, holding it open in his slender hands. On it is two phrases, seemingly written with the same attitude as an order at a pub. "Change in plans. Kill them all." Renji chuckles, and looks out to the horizon. Renji: Kibo, you have no control over yourselves. He begins to run towards the army.
