Maybe if we keep writing, more people will become more active? Btw ppl, read the poems on the first and second page! And tell the authors what you think! Part of being a writer is gaining knowledge and experience through criticism! Or something like that....argh, I'm confused...

Whooo! I haven't written any poems since that one. But I do write a lot of stories. I actually finished one finally too! Perhaps I'll share it with you guys sometime ^_^

I like the repetition. I have one issue, though. What's the theme, other than wishes of love (which is actually a motif)? I notice that a lot of poems here read like songs. It's okay, but deep thought is good too ^.^ Please don't be offended, that's just my own opinion.

NIce poem! this one is called Morning Glory Slam.
inspired by my first time at the morning glory poetry slam in south eugene OR.
*ahem*
In a world of ice
we all are frozen
but when brought togetherwe cause a little friction
abration causes a little heat
a little meltdown, breaks away the cold hard shell.
and lets us open our hearts and minds to others
so that they can thaw and dwell
on theese thoughts and visions
no longer in their icy prisons
background radiation,
like atomic rods we all glow from the inside
causing mutation
all turning into little visionary X-men
go ahead and bring a super friend,
from finnish to start, from beginning to end
taking turns, giving our thoughts a face,
setting our own pace,
this is the slam, in poetic form,
in this room of inspirationsuch glory and grace.
