Do I really have such a sophisticated compeh?
I'm used to being around my friends from Paradise Valley (rich part of the Metro area) who have doctors and realtors and lawyers for parents and feeling inadequate with my musician parents and "only" two computers
They have like a laptop for every member of the family and vacation in Europe and stuff
My friend Alexa's parents gave their "old" iPod to her little sister because she wanted to jump around with one and most likely break it
And my friend Morgan's dad gave her a $600 camera just randomly when she asked for a camera to use for school
They're so rich, it's scary
They're pretty down-to-earth folks, though :3
Although they don't seem to understand that they're rich D;
Alexa's like "What? The Mariott hotel isn't THAT expensive!"
And Joelle's like, "Well, flying to China isn't that expensive... it's not like we're rich or anything..." Well, her dad's a doctor -.-

You have to read the topics in the guild. Or at least the last page. Sucks to be a new member.

Yup
You basically just read the last page (or the page before if it doesn't make sense) and ignore the original topic
It took me a while to figure that out : P

I've been using the compy since I was 3. sweatdrop I got my first email account when I was 7. We got broadband when I was 9.
We've got an HP laptop, a Gateway Desktop, and a costum Desktop set up; we also have a Compaq in the corner that's not even plugged in. xp

My house just got a computer 2 years ago.
sweatdrop
Before that, though, I used the one that my grandfather had at the school (he was a teacher), and the ones at the library.
They worked FAIRLY well......

I started using one about 2 years ago. The slow speed of dial-up and my lack of websites kept me off.
