He looked up at her, the slightest bit of concern showing.
"What's wrong?"
He was still no closer to knowing why she was here in the first place, and the fact that she wasn't lecturing him and was keeping her distance meant something was wrong.

"Ever have those moments where the emotions you have are in such turmoil, you loose sight of who you are? Like everything doesn't feel right? No matter how much you look at the picture you can't find what's wrong with it?"
She couldn't really describe how she felt at the moment....Numbness was one of them. She felt numb and like she was in the dark. She stared at her bleeding hand, flexing her hand a little only to show the briefest of expression, reacting to the sting.

He listened to her tell him what was wrong, about to tell her that he knew the feeling when he realised that he didn't. If he was in better condition, and she wasn't Raven, he would proclaim to know the feeling and promise to make it go away. Even now, the thought to do so crossed his mind, after all, he did know who he was and knew he couldn't change that.
'No, can't say I've ever been in that position before"
He told her honestly.
Looking at her, he wondered if maybe the curse wasn't permanent and she was starting to remember who she was, but put the thought out of his mind putting it down to a combination between hitting his head before and painkillers clouding his judgement now.
A better guess at what was wrong was that he had, in some way, offended her before passing out.
"Where is whats-his-name?"
He asked after a moment. The guy was supposed to look after her, and given that Joe knew how far his self control went, he really needed someone other than himself here to comfort her and put things right again for her.

She shook her head.
"I don't know..."
She didn't remember at all what had happened in their past, but emotions died hard sometimes and when dug up and trying to press for memory that was no longer there... It flipped a switch.
She too wondered where Jay had been, where he had gone. She simply wanted to curl up into a ball and hide from the rest of the world until someone could show her where to go and balance everything out again.

He sat up then, sitting across from her and holding his head for a moment whilst the world stopped spinning. A though to sit up slower next time briefly crossed his mind and would be ignored next time the situation arose.
"Well... you need someone to comfort you"
He advised her, not offering to do so himself. It wasn't that he couldn't, he just didn't want to ruin their friendship.

She looked at him.
"Who are you suggesting? You won't, he's not around...who else?"
Her voice held that touch of ice. Who else was there that could comfort her if not him and she couldn't find Jay?

"I won't because our friendship means something to me"
He retaliated. If he was just a normal person, he'd be holding her in his arms right now, not trying his best to not fantasie of doing so and much more.
"You need someone who's not going to take advantage of the situation."
He attempted to explain to her, but knew he was failing at it. She was hurting emotionally and he was pretty much powerless to do anything to heal the hurt without making it far worse later.
He got up slowly, and stumbled out of the kitchen and into the living room then, picking up the phone and groaning as he sat down on the cream coloured lounge, realising that he didn't just need to call someone to look after Raven, but would have to place another call for food.
Food could wait, he thought, as he dialed the number of his old friend, hoping Arioch would pick up.

Arioch rolled onto his other side, cursing softly as he was woken up by the vibration of his phone. Song was in his arms, thus he moved his free one to grab the phone.
Flipping it open, he answered, "Hello?" Clearly he didn't keep numbers in his phone....or he just didn't look to see that it was Joe who was calling.

"It's Joe"
He introduced himself.
"I've got Raven at my place and she's an emotional wreak.. any suggestions?"

Arioch groaned.
"How bad of an emotional wreck is she?" He asked.
If blood was involved, Arioch would step in. He didn't exactly want to leave Song's side but if it was urgent... well this demon had little choice.

"I.. don't know"
He admitted.
"I can't help her this time"
He was being vague, there was just no reason to tell Arioch he had been in a fight seeing as that fight had nothing to do with Raven's state of mind. Something in his voice gave away the condition he was in though, or at least, that he needed energy and could therefore, not comfort her.

Arioch groaned again, peeking over his shoulder at his sleeping muse, for which he was thankful for.
"Alright...I'll be over.."
He flipped the phone closed and pushed himself up to sit, grumbling softly as he straightened his black hair.

"Thanks"
He hung up as Arioch hung up, then sat there for a moment, simply spacing out. Arioch, he hoped, would know what to do about Raven.
He wondered then where Raven was, partly concerned for her, partly because he could not stop his mind from wandering. Much as he tried, he ended up fantasising about her.

Raven was still in sitting in the kicthen, having not moved yet. She just didn't want to move yet.
Arioch had taken flight when he left the house. What ran through his mind was Joe just owed him.
Settling on the ground practically in front of the door, which hadn't closed, he flexed his wings and folded them in, forming a cape of sorts with them. he strolled inside.

The scene that greeted Arioch was milder than that that had greeted Raven, the blood having dried since and turned a few shades darker and browner, making it stand out less.
The open door would be a suprise, given how Joe tended to like his privacy.
((leaves state of the kitchen to Raven))
and.. if he got as far as the living room, he'd find Joe with his eyes closed and a smile on his face, sitting on the sofa and generally looking a mess.
