Dante Kun I will always see Amy as usless in this series. thats all I have to say bout that. But as for mina, yes she was desperatly needed to spice up the series but in my opinion she is only there to strengthe the bond between Sonic and Sally. I love her strong charecter and think she's great but its a good thing she move on to ash, because if she had screwed up Sonic and Sally's relationship more than it already was I would have to go and kill her. Speaking for myself, I have my own opinions on whether or not Sonic and Sally really have a "bond" in the first place, or just a lot of shared experiences. To quote what I said in another thread: "You've probably seen my opinion on Sally before, but I'll repost it here anyway for anyone who hasn't.
The one thing I'll say for those two is that their egos both seem so huge that they're probably just addicted to the challenge of each trying to "tame" the other's attitude, because neither can stand to have anything more important than them in the vicinity. If you take that away, what do they honestly ever have in common?"They squabbled like crazy as kids and they're still squabbling and refusing to communicate even now. Since they're both probably emotionally screwed, 134 was a foregone conclusion - they gravitated towards each other because there was a crisis situation and the other one was available from a very small selection. When they're in comparatively regular situations, not only do they just not know how to function - they drift apart towards other people, becvause they finally have a choice. But that's just my opinion.

If I may state my opinion...
I am an Amy Rose fan. However I don't hate people who hate her. They have their reasons, and I have mine. If I may bring up some points...
Good Reasons to like Amy Rose
She's a very determined girl.
She's good for laughs.
She's very strong, considering her lack of muscle.
She's a very loving person, and loyal friend.
She knows what she wants, and nothing can sway her. That's admirable.
Bad Reasons to like Amy Rose
She's pink, and pink is my favorite color!!11!
She uses a hammer. Hammerz r kewl.
She and Sonic are in love (cuz I iz da fangirl and I sayz so!!1!).
I like her dress!
Good Reasons to hate Amy Rose
She's a fangirl. Clearly.
She can't take a hint.
She has an incredibly short temper.
She's too dependant on Sonic's acknowledgement of her existance at times.
Bad Reasons to hate Amy Rose
She's pink, and pink makes me angry!
Her taste in fashion stinks!
She has a hammer and I hate hammers!
She's not as good as Sally or Mina or -insert other female here-
She's always getting kidnapped!
By looking at these, there are various reasons, good or bad, to like Amy Rose.
That's my two cents, although I'm not sure where I was really going with it.

I don't see the problem with Amy Rose. True in Sonic Heroes she was annoying. But they should make her more mature with her attitude. Way too childish for a 12/13 year old. Oh well she's better then Cream and Rouge. I despise the Sonic comics cause they warp the Sonic universe way too much.

And they've been around longer than the adventure universe. I even consider that a separate entity than the classics. You just have to think about it a bit.

Well it makes a lot more sense then the comic version. I hate it when the whole thing takes place on a different planet. I like Earth and it makes me feel like I'm more connected. Maybe because SA2B was my first sonic game since I was really young. I knew nothing about Sonic before it but now I'm a Sonic maniac. The comics really don't make sense to me. It's probably because of the other characters. I like it when the Sega and comic Sonic are connected in some way.

there not much I got to say to this room but Amy is and will all ways be my fav character and some of you guys are right I hate the color pink (BLUE & BLACK ROCK! heart ) Amy is cool,great,and fun to read and watch to to all the Amy haters I dont care what you think you probly have a bad resaon to hate her anyways so ******** off

To be fair, Becca, that word is permissible in PG-13 films in the US these days (I was having a discussion about that on the 'phone with Warnersister just the other day). But that's sparingly and only in context; and whilst I know I'm partly speaking for myself here, I don't see what there is in this context to get that heated about. Although I would prefer that kind of language to be toned down and differences to actually get talked out. Like Becca said, pie108... There's no "probably" about it - you can read the reasons for yourself if you check the thread. Take a look and see if you still feel the same way.

EVen the PG-13 version of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves has an f-word that was dubbed out of the UK release. The US system isn't a set of concrete guidelines, like the BBFC is in the UK.

I love Amy, I think shes adorable, although, It does get annoying at times when she chases after Sonic...... Makes me a little.... Jealous. sweatdrop
