Kiro grinned at the sight of Ieyasu. His shyness was fading rapidly at the appearance of so many people he knew. He returned the wave with a smile.

Pueblo, having turned from Iniko at hearing Osu, blinked at him for a brief moment. Who in the world...?

"Osu'sui!!" he exclaimed, giggling. She then held out her hand to wave at him, that now seeming to be the 'in thing' - for Pueblo at least. Tsukai was also happy to see Osu, hopping across to him and landing on the little boy's head with a delighted "peep!!"

Kiro couldn't help but grin. He remembered Osu being one of the first Aerandir he had met. And look at him now. "Hey there kiddo," he said, grinning. "You've grown up a bit since I last saw you, huh?"

Osu waved back at Pueblo, before giving a delighted laugh as Tsukai hopped onto his head. Sitting down with a soft fwump, he lifted his hands up to his head. He remembered playing with both Pueblo and Tsukai not so long ago.

As Kiro spoke to him, Osu paused. Looking up at the neko curiously, he then grinned broadly before nodding his head. "Uh huh!"

Ieyasu grinned as he watched the three Aerandir play about. Sitting down in the grass, he glanced up at the other guardians. "So how have things been for you guys?"

Syrenrei teleported herself on the outer edge of the plain, somewhat afraid of landing on or next to someone unfamilar. Clutched in her arms was Delta, who squirmed as she saw people nearby. Being held by her mother was hardly regal, and she had to make an impression! Sy was blissfully oblivious, holding on to her daughter like she was a security blanket.

"I didn't think... there'd be so many people. It looks like some of your friends grew up."

Delta let out a discontented blurble. There was no need to rub in that she was one of the youngest... and therefore would be later evolving. Well, her aunt had said some saying about the best being last. That had to be it. They were just a... a build up to her.

"Come ON, Innay-mama!" Marli was dragging her reluctant guardian towards the noise and crowd of the festival, the red bangles on her arm jingling as she pulled. While they had arrived on the island with the rest, the young Aerandir had wanted to explore a little before joining the others.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Inle grumbled as she allowed herself to be led. She wasn't much of a people person, but she could hardly deny Marli the opportunity to interact with so many of her peers.

Eventually, they reached the edge of the party. Marli's ears and wings twitched eagerly behind her--until she got a good look at the large group and realized she didn't know any of them. Rather than tugging on Inle's hand, she now grasped it tightly, pressing herself to the woman's side.

Inle sighed, reaching down to stroke the young Aerandir's hair. "Go on, it's not like they're gonna hurt you. Go make some friends, or whatever the hell kids do these days."

Her brash comment drew a giggle from the little girl, and she slowly released Inle's hand, edging closer to the others.

Yakobi

With a sigh the girl pushed herself up off the ground, brushing the dirt off her baggy jeans. "Taranis, at lest try to behave yourself when the festivities begin." she said shaking her head as she looked at her charge. He was always getting into trouble. Maybe he'd calm down when he grew up. She rubbed her dull orange eyes letting out yet another yawn. Taranis and Iniko had kept her up all night and the sleepyness was finally starting to kick in.

"Peep peep." the little polar bear, rockhopper penguin cross chirped. Quickly he padded off looking at all the Aerandir that where at the festival grounds.

Iniko floated about watching everyone talk and play around. This was definatly going to be a fun day. She floated around Yakobi then over to Taranis. Letting out a laugh she continued to dart between people and things.

A tall, pale young man tottered slightly on the beach, finally stopping to rest against a palm tree. He groaned audibly, hoping he wouldn't vomit. He hadn't taken to the ferry trip well; not well at all, he thought, feeling his stomach turn over.

He looked around at his surroundings, his cloudy gray eyes weary. Weakly, he pushed black, sweaty bangs out of his face. Perhaps he should go home. But he certainly was in no hurry to board that blasted seacraft again. Besides, he'd been specifically told to investigate this odd species. He sighed. Why him?

Alyosha snapped out of the small daze he was in and realised there wee many people around him. He looked around to see Jizzy standing near him with some rather tasty looking food and pointed her in the direction of the tent which was set up for food. It was small but in the shade and would keep it cool hopefully.

He waved to all in greeting and quickly deposited all of the extras he currently had. Picking up the roll of raffle tickets he began to wander around, giving them to those close by. "One ticket per person who comes along" he repeated to each, smiling happily.

Orian smiled a little, tucking the ticket into a small pouch at his side. "Need any help with anything?" He stood up, streaching a little, giving a small smile as he noticed Sy standing at the edge of the gathering, and pointing a little. "Or perhaps you would like me to take over so you could go talk to Sy?"

"There's not that much to do that I'm overly rushed and I should have some help along soon" he replied, smiling.

He wandered over towards Sy now, though, having only just spied her when Orian pointed her out.

Delta jumped down from her mother's arms after much squirming. The jump itself was an interesting sight- to buffer her fall, Delta flapped her wings rapidly, closed her eyes, and prayed for a safe landing. After hitting the ground rather ungracefully, she jumped up and tried to regain composure as if she thought everyone was watching. Deciding to let her presence be known, she pranced over towards Taranis. She wasn't overly eager to see the stupid-and-already-evolved Aerandir.

Besides, there were people not yet graced with her presence.

Sy, who was already feeling a bit awkward, took to thinking about tomorrow's meals... it gave her something to do while she stood there. She didn't want to approach anyone and bother them. As her thoughts drifted, she stared rather blankly at a tent a ways off from her.

Orian chuckled, reaching down to gently pat Delta's head as she pranced by. "Hey there princess. How are you this fine day?" He stood, giving a small bow to her before sitting back down. "I also believe that there will be fresh fish later, so I'll make sure to snitch you some, as I know you love fish."

Progolo continued to look around weakly, his stomach queasy. He wasn't even aware of the wriggling motions in his hip pocket.

A small creature, about five inches tall, struggled out of his hip pocket, its translucent golden wings rumpled terribly. It fluttered furiously in front of Progolo's face, making the man feel sicker than ever.

The creature known as Yaraif, resembled a small child with large violet eyes, a blue tinge to her skin, and wild purple hair. It might have appared quite cute, actually--if its face had not been screwed up in anger.

"PROLO!" The creature, known as Yaraif bellowed. She began prattiling on in a rapid, foreign language how hungry she was, how much she hated being in his pocket (even though she had insisted on staying there herself) and that he should be ashamed.

Progolo's mind reeled. He tried hopelessly to translate her language but, although he knew a bit of it, she was simply speaking to fast. Besides, he-

His stomach heaved, and he doubled over. Yaraif hardly had time to dart out of the way before Progolo retched the small amount of water he'd drinken before the trip.

Yaraif stared. "Prolo...sick?"

Progolo spluttered. His mouth and throat were murning from the digestive acids, but he felt much better. "I'll be fine," he groaned, waving off-handedly. He didn't know if she understood him.

Yaraif gazed at him in concern, her wings fluttering to keep her aloft. The pitching of the ferry hadn't bothered her at all; she'd been hovering the entire time. That had quite drained her of her energy, and she was starving, but...

(( o_O; There were a lot of typos in my last post. sweatdrop I'd fix them, but there doesn't seem to be an 'edit' button...))

Yaraif once again began speaking as Progolo wiped vomit from his mouth with a handkerchief. It sounded to him like she was insisting he eat something, and feed her while he was at it.

"Sek, sek, Yaraif," Progolo muttered (sek translates to yes in English). Straightening, he reached into his other pocket for a bag of tiny sweets he always carried around with him.

Yaraif was gone.

"Yaraif!" he called in exasperation.

Yaraif, meanwhile, had floated off to the food table, examining it for anything terribly oversweetened.

Alyosha closed in on Sy, slipping an arm around her shoulder whilst she was looking off into the distance. "Raffle ticket, Madam?" he asked, grinning a little as he held one out to her.

Foenix strolled along, enjoying the warm summer sun. It had been far too long since she had wandered out to interact with any of the other Cetalu inhabitants, and she was looking forward to meeting some of the new-comers to the Aerandir islands. Besides, this second island was very different, and quite beautiful.

Catching sight of a few people, she waved ehr hand to get their attention. "Alyosha! Long time no see!"

Behind her, the huffing and puffing of a small child could be heard. Nehanda soon appeared, a bunch of flowers held in one hand and a "cape" (actually a checkered dishtowel) was tied over her shoulders. The little girl was running around with her arms outstretched. Every now and then, she would flap her real wings and make little jumps into the air.
