Tsuzuki smiled and bowed when he clapped for her but it was nothing compaired to when she saw the ice diamond. It felt like her heart stopped beating and she was floating like an airbender, "Oh, Kazuki! It's so beautiful! Did you really make it out of ice?"
She picked it up and inspected it, "My parents are going to be very pleased with you, I can already tell."
She grinned as she looked back at him and asked, "So, are you ready?"

"Sure lets head out. Plus I heard from another fire bender yesterday most of the royal faimlies force the person who is merrying to fight a bunch of firebenders and then the one they are going to spend their life with. I personaly think thats crazy. I would not want to hurt you in any way." Kazuki said smiling

Tsuzuki shook her head and rolled her eyes, "Whoever told you that is crazy. We would never do that to you because it wouldn't be about the fight or about who wins or loses but the psychology of it. And, even though my dad and I love psychology, that's still insane."
The arrived at the gates of the mansion sooner than she had hoped. Giant, golden gates stood in front of them with the family crest molded into both sides. It was the Fire Nation's standard flame with a white crane flying in front of it. Of coarse, the color of the emblem couldn't be seen in the metal work but Tsuzuki knew what it was. The guard stepped out from behind the fence. He was one of the young non-benders that had saved her little brother's life. But, the terrified look on his face the last time she had seen him and sense vanished and he smiled when he saw her, "Ms. Tsuzuki, your family has been expecting your arrival."
She smiled at him sincerely, a small speck of hostility in her eyes, as she said, "Thank you. This is Kazuki Fuchoin of the Northern Water Tribe. He will be joining me today."
The guard looked at Kazuki wearily then nodded and said, "Should I escort you two to the den. Your parents are waiting in there."
Tsuzuki held her pose and smile as she said, "Yes, that would be wonderful, thank you."
The guard led them into a small room with a small table that had pillows all around it for someplace to sit. Tea had already been laid out by one of the butlers. She sat down with her hands folded in her lap and looked out of the doors to her left. There was a miniture lake in the center of a garden where she used to play when she was young. Soon enough, her parents entered the room.
She stood to acknowledge them, hoping that Kazuki would do the same, and sat when they sat. Her father was older than before. His light, brown hair was beginning to thin and turn grey. But, besides his hair, he seemed exactly right for his age: somewhere in his late thirties. He wore fancy, dark red robes that had the family crest sewn into the chest in gold. Her mom wore similar clothing only more tight-fitting and agile. She could tell that her father itched to embrace her but her mother's cold stare forbade this from being anything but buisness.
After they sat down on the opposite side of the table, Tsuzuki's father said, "It's good to finally have you home."
Tsuzuki smiled politely and nodded, "It's good to be back if only for a short visit."
Her mother's temper flared by she controled it and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
"I'm not staying. I only came because I recieved a letter from you two about the upcoming war. After this meeting today, I will be leaving the Fire Nation once more for the Northern Water Tribe."
Her mother threw a glare towards Kazuki and asked, "Why ever would you want to do that?"
Tsuzuki grinned, a spark in her eyes, and said, "Mother, Father, I love Kazuki here."
'Okay, I just put you in the spot light. Don't mess this up,' Tsuzuki thought as she waited for Kazuki to answer.

"That is correct, I have asked Miss. Tsuzuki to merry me. Tomorrow under the full moon on the sea of love in the Northern Water Tribe. I came along to protect my lovly soon to be wife. Also because I have some bussiness to talk with the Fire Lord and the Grand Cardinals of the Fire Nation." Kazuki said as he brought out the ring and the necless and put it around Tsuzki's neck and the ring on her finger. Kazuki knew what he was doing and was perfectly calm about it.
He was also confident that her parents would aprove. 'Well this is going better then I plained but I should take a look around this place I am getting a bad vibe of something going to happen' he thought as his eyes quickly shifted around the room and counted the guards. Kazuki then stood up and fixed his katana that was held in the back of his obi and bowed "Excuse me but where is your restroom?" he asked comming up from his bow and then moving his bangs from his eyes, his hair was neatly tucked into a bun so he did not look like a complet girl infront of her parents.

Her father pointed to the door and said, "Down the hallway to your left. It's the fourth door on your right."
Tsuzuki looked at him nervously and thought, 'You better not be doing what I think you're doing. My parents are smarter than that.'
As if it was an answer to her thoughts, her father continued by saying, "I'll send one of the servants with you to guide you. It would be rude of me to do any otherwise."
An old man that had been standing outside by the door came in and bowed towards Kazuki. "Just this way sir," he said as he opened the door and motioned with his hands for Kazuki to go through before him.

"I will be back Tsuzuki just stay with your parents and chat. Ok." he said with a nice warm smile then his eyes opened up and he bowed again to her father and mother and walked towards the old man to head for the restroom.
EarthBender Spy: "Is it all set and ready to go."
Cheif One: "Yes the sleeping pills were put in the tea like you asked"
Cheif Two: "Also the poison in the food is at critical mass but at a rate that no one could tell."
Cheif/Butler: "I will take the food to them now."
EarthBender Spy: "Let the tea take a little more effect."
As they walked down the hall he started to hear strange plots from the kitchen. Kazuki put his hand over the old mans mouth and pulled him to the wall before the kitchen open door and then keep listning. "Go back and tell Tsuzuki I am not feeling well and that the Tea has given me a headace." Kazuki said as he let the man go. Kazuki slowly walked into the kitchen with a smile as three men with large blade who were clearly the cheifs stood and glared at him another man was wearing earth benders clothes.
"I am sorry I got lost looking for the bathroom. But I did not know Tsuzuki's parents keep their enemy in their home like guest."
The earth bender smiled "Once they eat they will be dead and on that note you will too little prince."
The cheifs walked towards Kazuki and Kazuki took a small step back he was still smiling and his hand was on his Katana. "Oh what shall we do?" the said. Kazuki smirked as he looked at the food. "Man you guys are sloppy using these types of chemicals as a poison. How pathatic." Kazuki said with a smile as he walked towards the turkey and then held it in the air. "The poison is eating through it nice going you need to cook this double the time of a regular turkey." Kazuki said
The first cheif ran towards Kazuki and struck downwards with the blade. Kazuki easly dodged it. "Man your slow are you an Earthbender too?" Kazuki mockingly asked as a stream of fire shot across his face. "Oh a spy in the fire nation. Good I am going to have some fun." he said leaping over the table and then standing on a broken chair with one leg.

After Kazuki left the room, Tsuzuki's mother's tone grew harsh and quick as she spoke, "What is this? A marrage that we were not aware of? What's his social status up in the north pole? Why a waterbender? Oh, Tsuzuki, how you have shamed your ancestors by leaving home, forsaking your family, going to the Northern Water Tribe, meeting this peasent you bring before us today, and then becoming married to him!"
Tsuzuki's tone was calm yet dripping with a thick acid that was unlike her, "Mother, it was not as if you were with me at the time. I am going to live with him in his house up in the Northern Water Tribe for awhile before we go to travel the world. And do not judge him; he is the Military Commander of the Northern Water Tribe. And it was not I who have forsaken my family."
Her mother was taken aback for a moment before she spoke next, "So you turn against your home? The Fire Nation is now your enemy?"
She shook her head, "I will always be loyal to my homeland even if it is not loyal to me. Kazuki has promissed me that he will not allow the Water Tribe to attack the Fire Nation but to help us in the war."
Her mother stared at her suspiciously, "And what has he sworn by that allows him this promiss?"
Tsuzuki spat, "Swearing by something- anything- is no good. Nothing is permanent. The ocean is replaced by the land the volcanoes create, the earth dies when the Avatar cannot restore it, and even the sun and moon blot out every once in awhile which makes our bending useless. Swearing is for criminals who do not wish to keep their promisses. It is a fool's errand to find something permanent to swear by."
Her father nodded somberly, "And so we must let you leave."
Her mother looked at him, surprised at his sudden agreement with Tsuzuki and said to him, "Dear, what are you saying?"
"Tsuzuki will be sixteen in midsummer. She's been old enough to make her own discisions for almost two years now. She needs to have her freedom. The spirits know that she's had to for a long while now."
Tsuzuki nodded and smiled gratefully at him, "Thank you. Now, we must leave soon so what news do you bare?"
Her father stared at her, his eyes worried which unnerved her, "The war will be coming soon. After the Earth King and the Fire Lord gain more power and followers. Once the war starts, the Avatar will be announced which will cause many problems all over."
Tsuzuki nodded; she had already realized all of this but what her father said next unnerved her even more, "In light of your engagement to the Military Commander of the Northern Water Tribe, I will have to banish you from the Fire Nation for the next few months. Our family is gaining more and more power but, with your return and sudden engagement to a so-called enemy, we can't afford to lose everything we've built since before you were born. The Fire Lord will give us much after we do our part in the first year of the war. Then, we can allow you free passage anywhere. I'm sorry, Tsuzuki, but it's the only way."

"Look guys I would love to play with you but I have something to do." he said as the fire bending cheifs shot a long stream of fire towards him. Kazuki quickly moved like the liquid water dodging the attacks and coming back with something even stronger. He quickly raised both his arms up into the air having the water from the boiling pots over the stove shoot into their face. The cheifs grabbed their faces as Kazuki kicked them into the hall way.
Durring his fighting the Earthbender Spy ran away. Kazuki held his sword at one of the necks of cheifs. "Now your going to get up slowly and tell my lovly wife's parents what you guys were doing." Kazuki said as he had his other hand over his small gourd. The top was off and he had a killer look on his face the two cheifs stood up and ran down the hall and fell on the ground bowing to Tsuzuki's parents and Tsuzuki herself.
"Were sorry." they said together. Kazuki walked out from the shadows of the hall and sheathed his sword. "I hope you guys did not eat dinner yet because. Its poisonus." Kazuki said with a smile putting the cork back on to the gourd. "I am sorry but I noticed a buch of strange activity with your father and the guards there were way too many for a formal meeting with their daughter and a guest. So I wanted to make sure we were all going to live. These two can answer the rest of your questions. Lets go Tsuzuki dear." Kazuki said smiling as he walked towards her and held his hand out to help her up.

As Tsuzuki gave Kazuki her hand, she looked at her parents and showed them through her expression how she really felt: depressed and betrayed. She left her parents there, absolutely flabergasted with what had happened, and followed Kazuki until they were out of the mansion. Once they were safely back in the hotel, she began to cry without any noise. She whispered to Kazuki, "My parents have banished me from the Fire Nation. . . They have the authority and they need the power that they'll recieve with me out of the picture. We have to leave before the local guards come to arrest me. And you, for that matter. I'm sorry."
She turned away for a moment and stopped, hesitating, before she rushed back to him, flinging her arms around him and sobbing uncontrollably, "Kazuki, I'm so sorry! I'm sorry for bringing you here and bringing you with me to my parent's house! I'm sorry I can't do anything right! It's my own fault that I'm banished and now we both have to leave the Fire Nation for good! I'm just sorry for everything!"

"They have no authority to banish you or me for that matter, you see I am the Grand Cardinal of the Northern Water Tribe so I am here to speak with the fire lord, but we can head home. Trust me, you can stay at my place for as long as you need ok." he said smiling as they reached his large ship.
"Funny thing is they were going to be killed today if we did not come. That Earthbender spy was a horible fighter but he knew his poisons and so did those cheifs." Kazuki explained as he wiped her tears. "If it makes you feel any better we can still have that moon light date in the North Pole once we get back. Also we can make this marriage offical if you like." he said smiling.

"You....may not want to do that, I kind of have an issue with an air bender and also an ex friend of mine who is dating an air bender, who is kind of mad at me for something." Kazuki said smiling with a sigh.

Tsuzuki smiled and shook her head, "At least I'm not the only one with problems."
She paused for a moment and said, "How about we just go to the Earth Kingdom forests for a few week then? We can camp out, all by ourselves and enjoy each other's company."
Even though her tone was happy and seemingly forgetful, her heart ached and just wanted to get away from everything she knew for awhile.

Tsuzuki smiled at him gratefully and went aboard the large ship for the second time in her life. It was much different then the metal ships that she saw inhabiting the ports of the Fire Nation every day of her youth. This ship was a Water Tribe one and had similar style even though the ships of the Water Tribe were generally smaller and this one's size challeneged some of the large ships of the Fire Nation. She looked around and felt safe. She was happy she was going to the Earth Kingdom if only just for awhile.
