Trill squawked indignantly when one of the strange humans approached, clearly meaning to divert him from his purpose. He would not be treated like a hatchling. He was an adolescent, nearly an adult, and he had as much right to enjoy himself as anyone else. But his training held, and when she touched him, though he flinched to be touched by a stranger without his rider's permission, he stilled and permitted the contact.
Silence glanced over her shoulder at Trill, having caught an inkling that he was going to stir up trouble between himself and the other two griffins and recalling that he was at an age where griffins were notoriously difficult, particularly males. She pursed her lips and whistled a command to Stay. He wouldn't like it, but he would obey her.
"Once again, thank you," Silence said, letting her mind become receptive so that she would be aware of the others' replies, should they make any. "I apologize in advance, but Trill - the spotted adolescent - isn't going to stay well-behaved for much longer."
Upon hearing his name, Trill flicked an ear dismissively in his human's direction. He knew what she was referring to, and what she did not want him to do, even though he could not understand all of her speech. He knew the word "behave." He knew that she did not want him to start trouble with the other male, but she had others of her kind to associate with who were of an age with her, and he wanted similar interaction.
Chade "mrr"-ed deep in his throat, much like a human might clear his throat to attract attention in a polite manner. The sound caught Trill's attention and the older griffin asked of his adopted brother, What now?
That really depends on what you want more, doesn't it? Do you want Silence's approval, or do you want to talk to her?
Trill made up his mind. Silence had given the command Stay. He would Stay. But she had not told him to Be Good. He hissed at the human whose hand rested on his neck and clacked his beak threateningly in her direction, warning her that a prolonged closeness to him would result in the lost of chunks of her hand. Eyrie griffins were trained to be vicious at need.

Laura retracted her hand at once to scowl at the bird. "Shoo!" She said at once, throwing up her arms in hopes of frightening the griffin away from the pair playing with one another. "Just a little trouble-maker, aren't you?" She recalled Leolin at that age.... Yes, he was quite a handful as well. She only hoped Trill would know better than to attack a human when it tended to mean griffins were slain.

Nyhali decided to pre-empt further possibilities of trouble. "Kedri." It was a summons, and her tone brooked no argument. It was time to go, whether the other two women decided to follow or not. "I don't want to be rude, ladies and sir, but it is time for me to be going. If you need medical attention you may follow me, or come by later if you wish. It's pretty much a straight shot from here, the estate with the hound in the rosebush symbol." She smiled slightly, eyes giving off the most warmth that they had since she came to this mad city. "Actually, any time you want to drop by. Just ask for Nyhali."
Kedri gave squawk of annoyance and clacked her beak, but came when Nyhali called all the same. Nyhali was something akin to a cross between mother and clutch mate in her mind, and family came first, no matter how much fun she was having. She kneeled down to let Nyhali mount and trilled softly in a sad tone, giving both of the males a look before she took off. A few subtle guiding gestures from Nyhali and Kedri was off toward home.
((Sorry, I just don't really know what else to do since I might not be on much for the next few days. XD; I also want to be finished with my part in this RP at least before the Shindig opens... it's just easier that way for me. ^^; ))

I understand. I'm kind of stuck with regards to where this is heading, m'self.
Trill cocked his head to one side. He hadn't actually expected the woman to move away from him. Usually when he hissed at humans they swatted him across the beak, just where it met his face. It really stung badly when they did that, and he was immediately sorry, if not for his actions, for provoking a response. He did not understand why she tried to Shoo him when Silence had clearly told him to Stay.
Chade's garnet eyes took in the scene and followed Kedri and her human away. He kept his own council, as always, with regards to the goings-on around him. Only after Nyhala had made her farewells did he twist to look up at Silence, who wore an expression of extremem displeasure with Trill which had only softened when Nyhala bid them farewell.
"Thank you. The hound in the rosebush. I may stop by some time, but not in the near future I think," Silence replied. She was mastering herself once more, mastering the discomfort. "I appreciate all that you two have done."
She turned to Laura, "I do apologize for Trill. He was raised better than this. Trill, apologize."
Trill heard and recognized both his name and the command Apologize. Apologize was much like the greeting action he could perform. He folded one foreleg and extended the other in a bow, but rather than look up at the human he kept his head and tail lowered.
To Trill's surprise, Chade wound sinuously past him to Leolin and mimicked Trill's bow of greeting and farewell, with his head and gaze raised.
Thank you for bringing your human to aid mine, Chade said in a series of low whistles, yows, and clicks. Trill is appreciative, too, but he is too proud, I think, to say so.

The griffin chirped at seeing Chade approach him so formally.
It's nothing, really. We just happened to be in the area.
Leolin said modestly, bowing his head in return before trotting over to his owner and extended a wing to allow her to climb on.
Laura hopped on in traditional racing fashion- legs secured behind the griffin's wings so she would be able to lean forward into Leolin's mane.
"Take care then. If there's anything you need of me, be sure to speak with Lord Remiel. I work for him." With that she gave a bow of her head, and urged Leolin off much like a horse.
