Oh my god, I love Icelandic but I can't pronounce the R for the life of me. I can't roll my Rs so it really inhibits my ability to pronounce a lot of the trilly/rolly R-like sounds in many languages. And sometimes at the end of words it sounds almost silent? I also do not understand LL. In some videos it sounds like "kl" to me o_o;

I do understand "G" now, however. :3 i'm getting there!

I love you for this. eek haha but seriously... I think Icelandic is a pretty cool language and I'm trying to learn it but it's proving difficult because I don't have any books on it yet. I've sort of used this http://icelandic.hi.is/ but I haven't learned much of anything. xD I've been watching Lazytown in icelandic on youtube which I think has helped a little.. Anyway. Thank you!
