Lol only a small portion of the band girls are like that, everyone else... I don't know what happened, but their all preps and they cause a lot of unecessary drama -_-

that's becuse band girls aren't upset about shopping,clicks,and being like every other prep in the whole world

you've obviously never met some of the girls in our band, they are preps, but they're ok, they just get a little annoying sometimes, and bitchy

we don't have preps in my band

their are some girls you just wanna kill but most band girls just lover music and would rather listen to it than shop and spaz about their nails and what they wear.

I feel so loved^_^
but in my school band most of the other band girls were preps,who were horrible and complete bitches to the band geek guys (as well as each other,the director,etc)I would definalty not cal them "gods gift to mankind"

on ther other hand, band geek guys are some of the nicest guys I've ever met,as my bf is a trombone player for collage band and an uber band geek^^

Awe! I feel loved!

There's absolutely no preps in my highschool band!
Almost all of us like the same music genre to!
Also, We're all really tight since we get bashed by the jocks and preps so much.

What sucks is that the people who write the school paper are also anti-band...
They write stuff like, "We would like the band to play at bb games, but also would like them to leave behind the bad sportsmanship..."

Wtf? We can't play at those games cuz the school plays music over us with speakers, and the coaches don't want us there.
Also, We are always talking to the opposing teams band and getting aqcainted with them while the football team is making death threats...

Anyone else have this sort of problem or is it just us?

Aww, that's so nice. Band was fun for me. I was closest to the trumpets, and they had fun pushing my buttons. (I was alto sax.) Although, half the guys in my band class were total jerks to me (Half-jock, unfortunately). That's why I decided to join choir and date a choir girl.

It really is nice that we're appreciated. I definately think that bands are pretty "tight" and everyone is friends or at the very least acquainted with each other. A lot of my friends are the guys in the band and all of my girl friends are in the band too. I like the Bass section in the orchestra though! they're lifesavers in symphony orchestra... And in jazz.
Sometimes I actually think the guys in the band are nicer than the girls because the girls do back stab a lot and I think I'm drifting farther away from them because I don't want to get involved in that stuff. The only problem about being friends with all of the band guys is I sometimes go places with them and then the other girls get mad at me cause they like them...
