*Shihab laughed at the thought and shook his head smiling at his love. He knew of someone who took more then they and it was his human's meat stores. Dao, his supposed companion... But the lion would rather remain inside the teepee or with the human all the time. Looking at the back of the Teepee he wondered where the feline was, most likely out with the human as she hadn't poped up anywhere...*
"I'll take the blame, but there is one that steals from my human's meat stores inside the teepee. A certain gold and white lion." He chuckled before frowning. "The poor thing was heart broken and has withdrawn into a shell where she speaks to no one really. I don't know how she will take to having little one around, but I'm sure she will be fine," he nods thinking of poor Dao the day that acursed Bae upset her, not only once, but twice within two days...

Adelle finished eating the apple and looked up at Shihab. "What's happened with Dao? It seems like a strange sight as of late to not see her attacted to your back." A worried look was on her face as she thought about the lion who she had come to trust to a point. She still couldn't help but be wary when the lion was around due to how she grew up and all such creatures were evil. But for Shihab's sake she learned to trust the lion. "I do hope she's alright"

*Shihab shook his head as he looked at the white cloth beside him. Stepping a pce closer to Adelle he looked at her most mournfully. How to say it, how to explain the heart break the poor thing had encountered. With a sigh he began.*
"Lets just say that her heart won't ever be the same. She had made friends with another Lion, well it seems that he upset her. Not just once, but twice. This last time was enough to shatter her heart and make her withdraw into a withdrawn phase. I hope she over comes what's happened, but it was wrong of the other lion to desive her with the help of a raccoon." He said hanging his head a little watching the ground for a moment before looking back to Adelle. "So many cruelties can shatter one's faith in others if struck the wrong way."
*Nuzzling against Adelle, he did hope his companion would over come her mistrust of other creatures besides him, his mate and their human. But he had a feeling that once their foals were born and placed in the baskets, Dao would do the same to Bae as he did to her. But he also hoped that the young in the baskets wouldn't act like Bae's companions...*

Shaking her head Adelle couldn't believe that such a thing could do something so cruel. I hope Dao will be able to trust others again. Just like I learned to trust her. Though how could one be so mean to another? I just don't get it. She nuzzled up against Shihab glad that nothing like that had happened to them.
"Do you think we'll see her around today? Or your two-legger for that matter?" She asked as she looked at Shihab. It would be nice to see the two-legger as it had been awhile since she herself had last seen her.

*Shihab had to shake his head, he didn't know if they would see Dao or teh two legged that day. Then again, it was hard to say, it seemed they both were always gone besides at meal times. Shaking iff the unpleasentries he looked around, as if he suddenly heard voices, voices he knew. His human, she was returning... From where ever it was that she had been.*
"Sounds like she's returning." he said stepping past Adelle to look around the side of the Teepee. "Looks like we get to see them both."
"Oh come not Dao, stop being a bump on a log." Said a humans voice as a young looking lion was pulled through the bushes and into teh clearing. "After that cat fight, you..." She stopped and shook her head petting the lion's drooping head before turning back toward the teepee.
*Moving back over toward the basket she was weaving she sat down. Watching the sulking lion for another moment she began weaving once more, Making the basket look more like a basket. The young female native dressed in simple deer hide clothing had yet to noticed Shihab or Adelle behind her home. Humming she continued working with quick hands as if there was the need to hurry on the baskets...*

Adelle had heard the voices as well and her eyes widen in happiness. The human had accepted her and hadn't tried to shoo her away when she was around the area the first time Shihab had brought her. Trying to be quiet she went to join Shihab in looking around the side of the teepee but her bells gave a quiet jingle as if alarming anyone in the area that there was someone about. "My bells can be quite the giveaway at times." she laughed quietly.

*The soft jingle of bells reached Sevti's ears, looking up from her work she quickly put it away and stood up. Looking around a little she stepped around the side of teh teepee and came face to face with Shihab and his mate. Her pale blue eye brightened as she saw them both, to her mind it had been a while.*
"Oh, hello you two, how have you been?" she asked reaching out to pet them both with gentle hands. "YOu been treating her well Shihab?" she asked the stallion. "I know you have, no need to answer, she's still as beautiful as when you first brought her home. Aren't you girl?" she smiled at Adelle stepping over to teh side to pet her. "You bell is still hung up onside and it warns me of storms with its gently tones. A wonderful gift that will last forever." She nodded, trying not to seem like she were looking for a change in Adelle's belly, that would be plain rude.
Shihab gave his human a nicker before nuzzling aginst Adelle to show that he was still treating her as he should and nudged his human a little. He had noticed that Sevti had hid the basket she was weaving, not like they hadn't seen it already, but he didn't make any motions. Looking at Adelle he had to chuckle a little as the human seemed to babble about the bell Adelle had given her.*
"Seems she's read your mind about wanting to seeing her again." He chuckled. "And she still adores you, Like the day we all met." He said nuzzling against her affectionatly.

Adelle laughed as she heard the human babble on. "She seems to be good at reading minds." She nuzzled Shihab for a few moments glad to be around those that she had grown to care about. After she finished her nuzzle she nudged the two-legger gently to see if maybe she had any special treats other then the ones that her and Shihab had just raided moments before.

*Sevti gave a small giggle as she was nudged and stroked Adelle's neck while reaching into a small ouch on her side to pull out a small sugar cube. The held it out as an offering to Adelle, while holding out one to Shihab as well.* "You guys want these?" she asked smiling as she looked back to Dao, but found that the lion had vanished, most likely back into the teepee as where she normally was... She didn't know what to do with teh feline... *Shugging she looked back at the pair, noticing that Shihab had taken his sugar cube with good grace and reached up to pet Adelle again.*
"Indeed she does." He chuckled taking the cube that was offered to him, it wasn't often he took sugar, but he would take eat them now and again. "It's good to have kind humans about, some I've heard aren't the best, but this one is the nicest I can think of.. Besides a friend of mine's human." He said closing one eye in throught. "But I haven't seen too many humans besides ours and my friends." He nodded not wanting to judge all humans by the rumors of others about.

Adelle gently picked the sugar cube up and quickly ate it enjoying the sweetness the sugar left in her mouth. "It is good to have humans about. Though I don't think all think that way though. I would hate to see problems occur between others like us and the humans. Though I would probaly be scolded greatly in my homeland for saying such things." She laughed gently before shaking her head to rid the thoughts from her mind.
Reliezing Dao wasn't anywheres to be seen Adelle walked slowly to the teepee entrance and carefully poked her head in. "Dao?" she quietly called out and hoped maybe the lion would come out for just a few moments.

Shihab Nodded in agreement to Adelle, that all humans were different. That was a sure thing, even if teh only two were nice. Nuzzling against the human he watched Adelle wander toward the front of the Teepee, he on the other hand kept the two legged busy but nibbling on her braid, causing her to laugh.*
"It is good to have humans about. Specially those that brandish sugar cubes and other treats." He chuckled nudging Sevti playfully.
*Indigo eyes peeked out of the teepee, before pulling herself to the opening and sitting there. Watching the mare most mournfully, her eyes seemed dull at teh moment. After a moment she stood and stepped out of the teepee to sit before the mare.*
"You called?" she asked looking up toward Adelle. "Sorry for being in such a sad state I appear. It seems that the friendship of one wasn't all that it was cracked up to be." She frowned looking back toward teh ground. "How are you feeling today, if I'm so bold to ask? And pardon me, if I seem rude, but you seem a bit rounded in the belly. Shihab hasn't been feeding you too many apples and carrots has he?" she asked faintly grinning as if she were coming out of her shell a little. "Or is it that you will be a mother? And I will be able to protect something more then just a human with one eye?"

Adelle gave the lion a quick nuzzle before she ended up blushing to what Dao said about her belly? Is it that noticiable? How could it be that noticiable already when we only just assumed I was this morning? Perhaps I'm further along then I thought. "You need not apologize. Everyone deserves to have a sad day or two." She nodded her bells ringing gently. "I was feeling a bit ill this morning but I'm doing fine now. And no I don't think Shihab has been feeding me to many apples. Am I really getting fat?" She laughed gently. "If I am I don't think it's from the apples. We think that I may be having little ones in the near future but we aren't sure but if I'm getting fat like your suggesting then perhaps there will be little ones around"

*Dao gave a comforted purr as she was nuzzled against and smiled watching the mare as she blushed, but shook her head alittle giggling herself as she looked back at Adelle. Standing again she walked over to where the sun was shinning the brightest and laid down again rolling in the grass that was slowly appearing through the still cold snow. Laying on her side she looked at Adelle in a lazy fashion.*
"I wouldn't say you were becoming fat, fat isn't teh right word for it." She said looking up at the skies trying to think of the right word. "Oh, I don't know what you would call it, but 'fat' was not on my mind, not with one as lovely as you to have captured my companion as you have." She smiled. "If little ones are on the way, you two will have your hooves full, And I will be here to lend a paw if needed. In truth, I want to get Bae back, but I don't know how. He's the one that has hurt me deeper then a human's weapon." she sighed closing her eyes again, basking in the sunlight, white and gold tail twitching a little behind her.

Adelle smiled as she listened to Dao speak though she couldn't help but frown slightly at her comment about wanting to get someone back. She couldn't help but shake her head as she thought about why Dao would want to get revenge on someone. "Why get someone back though? It may seem like a good idea to get someone back but then they would turn around and try to get you back and then it would happen all over again would it not?" She asked quietly hoping that the lion wouldn't get upset with her. "Wouldn't it just be better to not get the other back? This way the other would most likely be constantly expecting something from you but nothing will come and that will probaly torment them more then it would if you were to actually 'get them back' as you put it." She nuzzled the lion gently once more really hoping she didn't upset the lion after getting her to come out and join them for awhile.

*Dao rubbed her head agaisnt teh mare, a purr rumbling at teh base of her throat as a paw came up and placed itself on Adelle's nose before moving back to teh ground. Standing she rubbed herself against Adelle's forelegs and under her belly, letting her tail tickle Adelle.*
"I suppose, but I won't let him near your foals, just as he was so... Protective of the baskets he was 'forced' to protect..." She shook her head sitting down "But you are right that I shouldn't try to get revenge, It's just a temptation, a strong one at that. But all that is in teh future, much lilke teh young ones coming. You have noticed that the human is preparing, it is strange how she knows... Most likely doesn't and is just thinking a head for when you do have young ones."
