Having finished his bite of fish he worked a little longer on his necklace befor ehe returned to the fish for another bite or two.
When he returned to the the flowers he paused looking at his mother his head was tilted with his cheeks puffed out because he was chewing on some of the meat still. Swollowing it he blinked. "Mother.... why are you crying?"
He walked over to her and looking into her eyes as best he could without rolling over and looking at her upside down.

Hivu snapped back into reality when she heard his voice, glancing upward and looking him in the eyes. She had barely noticed the tears on her face, she had only noticed that every painful detail of her past had burst fourth and she had become lost in her misery.
"Oh Nac... I'm so sorry that you have to see me this way." She said sadly. Oddly, her voice was steady, but the sorrow was deep and it was obvious from her voice that she was in a great deal of pain.
"All the pain from my past, it just started tugging at my heart again. I couldn't take it." She said, her voice full of shame. "I realized that my life was just fine, and completely carefree, until that day that I met Tego." She added, and she knew that it was true. The next day, she had met Ixachy. Not long after, not only did Tego threaten to rape her, but Ixachy had disappeared without a trace. For a time, she was happy again, with Lim for a short time, and also with her children, but even they had been torn from her, and now Nac was the only thing she had left that still gave her hope.
"This is all Tego's fault." She decided aloud, "This all started when I met him!" She hissed, no longer concentrating on her son. "Everything that has happened is because of him." She sobbed, collapsing on the ground. All she wanted was to just sink into the ground and disappear, to not exist any longer, but that was not an option, she had to care for her son, that was the most important thing. She would have to settle with the next best option; take it out on Tego later on.

Nac shurged softly listening to his mother. Playing with his flowers, "I hardly doubt it's uncle tego's fault anything happened." His tail flickered as he finished up, it wasn't full of flowers, this necklace wasn't but it was just enough to have evenly placed flowers.
"If it was uncle's Tego's fault he would've told my sisters to leave... I don't think uncle tego would've done that." She might not be listening but he didn't really mind. Yawning he moved over to his mother and tossed the flowers around her neck. "Maybe it was time for my sisters to leave. But mother I won't ever leave... I'll stay even when I'm grown up, and no matter where we are, we all still love you."
He nodded looking towards the fish he grabbed it and pulled it over to his mother and looked at her. He sat and watched her tail flickering ears down slightly.

Hivu sighed and attempted to regain her composure, sitting up again and wiping the tears from her face. "Perhaps one day I will explain it to you, but not today. I don't think I could handle it today." She admitted, her whole body shivering slightly from both her sorrow and her anger with Tego.
She looked him in the eyes and attempted to smile, it was faint, but there, even with the occasional sobs. "I'm sure you all do, it's just so hard when someone you love is suddenly torn from you. I'm sorry, I must look like such a fool, your mother is supposed to comfort you when you're sad, not the other way around." She added, shaking her head.
"I'm a terrible parent. I understand why they left."

"M'kay." He said watching her.
"No, not really... when you lose someone it always hurts." Nodded softly, he understood about being sad when loosing loved ones.
"Blah, is that what you think?" He looked at her tilting her head. "If you were that way we still wouldn't be alive. If anyone to was blame I'd blame sissy and her 'love' for boys."

"You're really sweet, Nac." She said, giving him an affectionate lick on the cheek. "I think I need to lay down for a bit, you know where to find me." She gave him a quick nuzzle and started back toward home. Hivu couldn't handle this right now, not even with Nac comforting her, though she appreciated it.
"I'll still take you hunting tomorrow if you like, though." She called back over her shoulder before disappearing into the trees. She trusted Nac on his own, he could take care of himself well enough.

"Well I got the best of you and daddy." He said smiling.
Watching her leave he blinked, "Only if you feel up to it." He called back watching her dissaper into the trees. He didn't want her taking him anywhere and she break down like that. He knew she said it was dangerous but it wouldn't be any safer if she broke down like that when hunting.
