Just need to vent a bit... I'm really pissed at a professor right now...
So we had a problem session in class today where we were called up to do problems on the board. She asked me to do Number 4, Part A...
So I did... I admit I made a mistake...which wasn't really a mistake, (I just didn't explain myself clearly enough)... I understand that and it was a stupid thing to do... but I thought (naively) that I could explain it better verbally. stressed
But as soon as she saw that "mistake", she wouldn't listen to me anymore, and called someone ELSE up to the board to "correct" me... and do BOTH part A AND part B, which is worth MORE than the original part I had to do... and ALL HE DID was explain in better words what I already written... WHY WOULDN'T SHE ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN MY OWN WORK??!
I just feel so pissed off about it AGHH >_< I don't normally get mad but one sure way to tick me off is to NOT LISTEN. stressed stressed stressed
She also favors people who had her class before... not like they don't already have an advantage... stressed
I seriously wish I had the wits about me at the time to argue with her.

That sucks! Seems to me that she's more concerned with spewing out the "correct" answer for the class than actually teaching people. neutral Professors like that really piss me off, because if you're unsure of the material they just think cramming it down your throat will fix everything rather than letting you actually think about the answer.

What gets me is I knew the correct answer, I just didn't know how to explain it to her satisfaction...
I'm also debating whether or not I should invite some friends to this guild... I'm just concerned that they're too busy to bother at this point and I don't want to impose hrm... I bet I'm overthinking it.

I'm actually having the same dilemma. sweatdrop Can't hurt to at least tell them about it though, can it?
...Aaaagh! Why didn't someone tell me sooner that I misspelled "unintelligent" on the guild homepage? gonk That's a great first impression right there. (It was "uninelligent," apparently.)
Oh well. It's fixed now, anyway.

I think I noticed that the other day but forgot to mention it...
and I just sent out a load of invites and am about to send more @__@;;
I kinda figure I should invite out of courtesy... I don't want to end up going a few months later "so yeah I'm in this guild and I didn't tell you about it... because I don't love you enough"
