The mare looked at the stallion in ponder for a moment before trying agian. "Fun. It's like, well..." The mare trailed off "It's when you do something you like doing. Running, flying, jumping in water." The mare shrugged and, she was not at all one to explain things if not. her interpretations are wrong.

"I 'ave never learned to do any of 'zese t'ings!" he looked to her. "I 'ave only know death and pain since as long as I can remember. Some of 'ze t'ings vout o'ters speak of makes me jealous. Because I do not know what 'ze are and 'aven't found 'zem in my lifetime." he sighed in his honesty. "I am sorry for ranting ma cherie. I should go." he turned to leave, surely what he had just explained no one would want to associate with him.

The mare speed up after him. "Ares!" she called out as she trotted up next to him. "Well I say it's time we learn F-U-N ad no death or pain." The mare nicked softly nudging his shoulder with her muzzle trying to make him turn around and keep going towards the ocean. "I've heard much about death and pain But, I have also heard about new beginnings." The mare stopped in her tracks just to watch him. If he was to walk away more than so be it. She would follow and continue on in her efforts to try and change him. Autumn was different from the day she was born, always saying things wrong never, making friends.

His muscles flexed at her touch, he wasn't used to others touching him and he felt it quite awkward. He didn't know what her little rant was about but he shrugged it off, "I suppose I could 'ave a try at 'zis t'ing vous call 'fun'." he didn't know what her attatchment was to him or if she had any at all. But perhaps soon he could consider her more of a friend than an aquaintance. What was he speaking of? He had no 'true' friends...he called them friends because he did not know of any word to call them. Oh well, he could worry about that later. He was to intrigued with this water fun...

The mare snorted in triumph and trotted off towards the ocean. Nickering for him to hurry. The sun was up and the day had began. she slowed to a walk untill she was near him, giving him space.
Autumn figured everyone as a friend untill they turned eaither better, or worse. Ares stayed a friend in his efforts of changing himself. The mare smiled a bit figuring today might be a 'fun' day.

He followed after her, almost obediantly. She was smart to keep her distance, he could have gotten riled up just a bit. He rememberd Midori...she was an odd one. He turned back to Autumn for the game plan. This was going to be...an experience.

Autumn looked over at Ares and began to get a bit hyper. She was heading to the ocean with someone she could teach to have fun. Watching his expressions she carefully began to talk. "Ever jumped into a wave?," The spotted mare questioned as they approached the crashing waves.

"I 'ave walked into 'un...not jumped." he tilted his head curiously at her. She seemed to be analyzing his expressions. He didn't mind, he usually kept a blank face. His ears flickered forward as she questioned him ready to give as honest of an answer as he could.

"Are you redy too?" She replied with a teasing grin as her vigorous attitude began to form.
Leaping off Autumn landed with a splash right into the water. Little droplets and small waves flew out from her sides as a wave crashed down. Water dripped from her mane and tail as she sat in the water; small waves crashing agianst her. "Your turn." She stated with a nod and a thrown of her head.

"I don't believe 'zat 'zis iz going to work..." he questioned the water as he watched it from his very dry beach.
Maybe he wasn't afraid of the water but, afraid to feel. He hadn't had feelings for so long, because he was taught not to and to reverse that whole effect? That scared him and he didn't want to, he didn't like change in general and to change this whole part of him wasn't what he wanted, was it?

"Come on!" The mare repeated once agian but, lightly. "Fine...walk in if you want." Blowing a piece of forlock off her eye she slowly stumbled not seeing the wave behind her that came.
She was back and standing quickly and then shook off the water and began to jump around.

He walked in as she said, he didn't understand the jumping concept. He walked into the water's coolness. His eyes flickering over the dark liquids, he watched her jump around. "Mademoiselle if I do 'zat I will look like a fool." he shook his head as he waded in the waters.

The mare quickly stopped her jumping around enough to stare into the water. She never thought of looking like a fool. "Oh," The mare replied and looked around with a shrug.
Sticking her muzzle into the water and flinging it up sending droplets at him, she began so laugh softly.
