Haku gave a bit of a nod. As if reading Zabuza's mind, he piped up, "I hope we don't get any guys like we had, last year. They complained more then they did anything..." Save for trashcanning me, or getting every chance they could to knocking me down in any sport, or dunking me in the pool when we did swimming. That part went left unsaid.

Haku hitched up his shorts. Already, it seemed the rubber band was coming loose. Pausing in his step, he held the too-big shorts up as he began adjusting them, showing off the fact that he looked underfed, even though he had a pretty decently-built form. Doing his best in everything Zabuza had told the class to do helped alot with that. "It's like someone snuck a different size of shorts into my locker..." He mumbled.

Zabuza nodded, chuckling a bit. While Haku adjusted his shorts, the man noticed a sliver of his waist, and a slight look of concern swept over his face for a moment. He looks skinnier than he did last year, he thought, wondering if that was possible. If he could, he wouldn't push him as hard in class, but that wouldn't be fair to the other students, no matter how much he hated to admit it. "Well, we're not doing much today, so you can just bring in a better fitting pair tomorrow," he suggested, looking over the list of students for first period.

"I'll check the thrift stores tonight and see if they have any that might fit." Haku said, finishing fixing his shorts. "And then, i'll hit the grocery store for more bread, and some milk..." Without realising it, he started listing off what he would do after school. Stopping himself, he blinked. He never told anyone at school he lived alone, and never planned to. He wondered if the fact that said he'd be the one to do all these things would've hinted to Zabuza that he lived alone. Not correcting himself, however, he wondered if it was about time someone knew, so he didn't exactly have to feel like his life was a big secret, after school. And Zabuza was pretty much the only one he trusted, his PE teacher, or not.

Zabuza quirked an eyebrow. Wouldn't... his parents normally do all of that? he thought, and then mentally slapped himself. He should have realized before! No wonder the boy looked so skinny all the time. Sighing, he looked back at Haku. How was he able to deal with all of that with a smile on his face 24/7? "Scratch all that. How about we go out to dinner tonight?" he offered. "A little celebration for back to school." The man couldn't help but to smirk, seeing as the new school year was really nothing to celebrate. Normally, he wouldn't be this nice to anyone, but the boy deserved it.

This is where the unbreakable smile faded, just slightly, as Haku's eyes widened a bit in suprise. "Dinner... With you?" He asked, before composing himself. A new, slightly nervous, grin was on his lips. "That would be great! I mean... well... I still need to stop by a grocery store before I hit home to get any homework done. And possibly, grab some cash so I can pay for myself..." There goes the 'getting a belt' idea, for this payperiod. He thought, but was happy about the offer, anyways. "Where do you want to meet? And at what time?" He asked, already prepared to get himself there, pay for himself, and get himself home, as not to inconveniance Zabuza.

Zabuza shook his head, astounded at Haku's independence. "I'll pay for the dinner," he said. "And I'll pick you up at six." He was half-tempted to offer to pay for the groceries, as well, but he was afraid that would offend the boy. He'd bring that situation up at dinner.

He sat inside a large office, leaning back in his chair, feet up on the desk in front of him. The man on the other side of the desk was glaring at him; a large folder sat in front of him, open.

"I don't know what kinds of schools you were at before, but we will not tolerate bad behavior in this school." The principle slammed his hand on the desk. "Are you listening to me, Zaku Abumi?"

"Tch, whatever." Zaku said with a roll of his eyes. "I've always done whatever I wanted. What the hell makes you think I'm gonna change for a p***k like you?"

The principals eyes darkened with rage. "We'll be watching you closely, Zaku. Any wrong moves and you'll go right back to that cement cell you came from. I promise you I'll make sure you're kept locked in solitary confinement for the rest of your stay there too." He smiled at Zakus scowl. "Now get up, pick up your stuff, and get to your first class."

"I'd love to get away from your ugly face but," he lifted his right hand, the sun reflecting off the metal bracelet. "You seem to have forgotten that I'm handcuffed to this d*mn chair." A large man that stood beside the door came over and unlocked the cuffs. "That's better." Zaku straightened his black leather jacket as he turned to glare at the man. "Get the hell out of my way." The man stepped to the side allowing Zaku to pass. He picked up his bag from beside the door and headed out into the hall with a smile on his face. Ah, another school to turn into hell. This year is gonna be fun.

((hehe, I couldn't resist making him a bada*ss type. I'll post for Chouji tomorrow))

Iruka waved to Naruto as he made his way out, than turned back to his computor, waiting a second, than bringing up his solitare window once more. 'There is no need to worry about him. I am sure he is going to be fine. Anyways, he doesn't need me worrying over him. At least this time I didn't pelt him with questions like asking if he ate a good breakfast or if he had enough supplies for school.'

Sasuke looked down at his watch, checking the time. There was not a lot of time left before first period, which ment everyone was probrobly here by now. He leaned against the lockers of the barren hallway, taking one more look at his schedule. Today was going to be a disqustingly easy one. No one gave them work on the first day, except for the most hated teachers. 'Science... History... gym... computors.'

Shikamaru gave another yawn, still gazing up at the clouds, admireing how free they were... while he was stuck in the hell that people call school. His eyes parted from the clouds for a second, looking down to the school grounds, scanning the crowd for a moment, trying to see a familiar face. Nope. Nothing. And with that, it was back to the clouds once more.

As he got out of his fathers car, Chouji stared up at the large building in front of him. Looks like I won't be the biggest anymore. He thought as he pulled on his backpack and turned to wave at his father before making his way towards the school. I wonder if anyone else I know is here yet?

Zaku wandered down the hall to where his locker was, then shoved his whole bag into it. "Won't need any of this sh*t...just this." He said and pulled out the case that held his guitar. After kicking the door shut, he left to look for the music room.

Another look of shock spread across Haku's face, and then he looked down. I guess this is unavoidable... first time someone learns I live alone, and he probably feels sorry for me.... but... I want to have dinner with him... If it were someone else, I might not... he looked back up with another smile. "Do you have a piece of paper? I'll need to write down my address, for you, if you are going to pick me up..."

Oddly enough, Haku had a slight tinge on his cheeks, and he noticed it instantly. Managing to push it away before Zabuza saw, he contemplated on what it could mean, but remembered that this was strictly just a dinner, and not anything more, because teachers and students couldn't have any kind of relationships more then possible friends.... right?

Kankuro looked around boredly. Drama.... PE.... History... Math.... He thought in a drawling mannor, clearly tired of waiting for the bell to ring. With a sigh, he turned to head into the buildings, not even bothering taking off the cat-eared hood. Actually, he knew he probably would feel uncomfortable without it on, so, unless one of his teachers told him to take it off, he wouldn't.

Passing through the crowd in front of school, he managed to get up and to the building with a few 'out of my way, brat'-s, just as the bell rang. Making his way towards the fine-arts wing of the school, he headed for the Drama Room.

((The bell has now rung for first period. Any late-comers, report to the attendance office before winding up in class!))

ooc// I was just gonna ask about the whole bell thing. XD//

Glancing at his watch, Naruto's eyes widened. Crap! A minute to the bell! he thought, racing up the stairs to where his history class was supposed to be. After looking around for the room number, he made it in just as the bell rang. Sighing in relief, he sat down towards the middle of the room, dropping his bright orange bag next to his seat.

Zabuza took out a blank piece of paper from his clipboard and handed it to Haku, along with a pencil. Noticing the boy's sudden change in behavior, he couldn't help but to let another smile slip. He probably wasn't supposed to be doing this for the sake of his job, but as long as Haku was happy, he wouldn't tell anybody. A few seconds later, he heard the bell ring, and immediately put on a strict face as a few students walked into the gym. Since there were sure to be students lagging behind the first day, he decided to wait for more to come until he started class.

Chouji hurried into his first class, home economics, just as the bell finished ringing. He quickly found an empty seat and sat down, hanging his bag off the back of his chair, and waited for class to start.

Zaku ignored the bell. He planned on spending most of his days in the room and skipping all his other classes. He could care less if he failed; music was his life, nothing else. After finishing the song he was playing, he carefully put his guitar away in its case and slung it over his shoulder, then walked slowly to the gym.

Haku quickly wrote down his address. It was a cheapo-apartment, where the plumbing didn't always work, and you never wanted to sit on your porch at all, unless you wanted to get stared at by your neighbors, or possibly shot at. Yet, it was somewhat close to the school, and he could walk to work from it, and cheap. Besides, nobody there would question why he was the only one that went in and out of his apartment.

Hearing the bell ring, Haku looked up. Quickly writing his name on the side, so Zabuza knew that it was his address, he handed the clipboard back over. "I'm probably still going to at least stop by the grocery store, on the way home from school, but I should be home in time." He said with a quick smile, before looking at the crowd of males that were to be in his class. Some of them looked like the kind of guys that liked pushing him around... Greaat... He thought, sighing.

((Ne, gomen. I was not able to acess a computer frequently, this weekend.))

Deidara had looked down at the clay in his hands, but when he heard his pet name, an eye twitched slightly when he looked up. It wasn't that he didn't mind being given a pet name... nor, did he really mind being called brat. Save for, from Sasori. He always made it sound like he was some obnoctious kid when he called him that. Which was probably why the other male liked to say it to him...

"Thanksgiving's always boring, un..." Deidara mumbled, trying not to explode, as he still wanted a bit of company before class started. Instead, he worked with his clay a little harder. This time, he decided to make a scorpion. A slight twitch of a smile back, he began forming the tail.

((Its okay, I won't be on often or long cause my grandpa's in town and staying with me, my mom and my dad.))

Sasori lifted an eyebrow as he placed his chin ontop of his palms. Bored look ever present, the smaller male watched as the blonde formed something with a long tail.

When the approach of the bell grew nearer Sasori finally got up. Walking over, Sasori noted that the lump of clay with a tail had become a scorpion. Rolling his eyes the male asked for the cup again, including the pet name in there too.

Zaku didn't bother to change but just went and sat on one of the benches. He watched as other boys came in and sat down after changing and thought most of them were pathetic. Great, gym with a bunch of losers.
