Shikamaru looked around his father's office, which was his now. He heard the phone ring and he answered it. " Hello?"
' I wonder what the boss will think of me? It doesn't matter though. I'm going to be the boss one day and make my dad proud of me.' Naruto thought as he walked out of his room and made his way to the elevator. He pushed the button that would take him to the boss's office.

Temari turned around, hearing a response. "Sir, Chouji would like to speak with you." She grabbed the phone, looking at Chouji. "H-hey, Chouji, boss is on the phone." She smiled sheepishly, handing him the black reciever.

Chouji left his bag beside the elevator, giving the blond a nod as he passed and took the phone from Temari. "Hey, Shikamaru, sorry I'm a few days late. The guy I was picking the package up from was being...difficult. I got it though and am just getting ready to head up to see you."

Itachi rolled his eyes, taking a step closer to his brother. "Then what would you rather do, hm?" He smirked slightly, lifting a finger to his brother's chin and pulling downwards, the purple nail lightly scratching him.
Temari sat back down, going back to figuring this months bills. Hopefully there's money in there or we're screwed for this month's bills. She sighed, but didn't bother asking.

" It's fine. Come on up and we'll discuss you're next assignment." He hung up the phone and sat down in his comfy new boss chair. He looked around what he still thought of as his dad's office. It was a classy room with velvet upholstered chairs, a mahogany desk, and a grandfather clock in the corner. 'This room needs a chess set.' he thought.
Naruto waited a minute before the elevator finally reached his floor. It opened and he saw two young men in the elevator, the taller one had his hand under the shorter one's chin. " Eh...sorry to bother you..." He said and walked off towards the stairs ' I don't even want to know...who were those guys? They looked alike so they must be the Uchiha brothers. I've heard a lot of things about that Uchiha family, and nothing good either. Than again there wasn't anything good about my family either..."

Sasuke's eyes widened, a chill running down his spine at Itachi's touch. Coming to his senses, he smacked the hand away. "What do you mean what would I rather do?" he snapped, looking away again. "I want to get to my floor in peace!"

Itachi smirked. "Don't tell me you forgotten so soon, Otouto?" He pretended to rub his hand for a moment before bringing it to Sasuke's hair, ignoring the fact they'd been seen by a blonde. I'll deal with that kid later if I get the chance. He thought and nodded inwardly.

"See you in a minuet then." Chouji hung up the phone and looked at Temari. "I'll see you later, Temari." he headed back over to the elevator in time to see the doors open again. He picked up his back and looked at the two inside. Oh great, it's him. He thought as he noticed Itachi. "Er, going up?"

Spring green eyes came upward from the newspaper they were currently focused on, the words Konohakure Times riding the top in big, black font. She hadn't had a job for three days from the boss, and sometimes playing innoccent became a bore. Of course, she believed to had mastered the role. A scared girl who was always relying on her friends. All according to plan. however, she thrived to 'bump off' Ino. She thought she was better than her, Pah!
Sakura Haruno wore a red sundress, matching ruby heels clicking against the Nara Hotel's main floor, the lobby. Her normal clothing. Nobody would expect the young, pink-haired lady to be a hit lady, she was positive.
She ran a fair hand through short pink hair. It was eaiser to work with, she had to admit. Red was her favorite color, but blood in her hair was a little too suspisous.

"Alright, bye Chouji." Temari smiled, hanging up the phone. Her eyes froze as she saw Itachi step out of the elevator. s**t... She sighed, trying to act as if it was nothing.
Itachi gave a sickly smile at Chouji. "I'm getting off here." He took a step out of the small, compat area, walking over to Temari. "I've got stuff to discuss." He glanced back over at his brother for a moment before giving the girl his full attention.

((Not as late as I am. I have been procrastinating soooo much on this. But here I am! In all my youthful glory.))
In the lobby of a very familiar hotel, one that had been visited often by many who worked for the head of the hotel, sat Rock Lee. He was currently reading a magazine, glacning at the clock every so often. He was generally a good person, didn't smoke, didn't drink (since he was not of age quite yet.... besides the fact last time he tried drinking he got wasted and violent on the first shot), and certainly was a respectful man... though there was his job. He was a hitman, working under the Nara family, taking out anyone deemed troublesome or a risk to the company. He specilized in hand to hand combat, and was more of a close range guy, who was more the one in charge of scaring those who opposed the Nara family into behaving, a first and last warning job. He wore a grey suit, with a nice green tie, yellow button up shirt underneath. He was currently drinking hot chocolate, which was set on the small table in front of him. He was here beacuse he wanted to meet the son of his old boss, and possibly get a job if he was needed for anything.

Sasuke winced slightly when Itachi's fingers reached his hand, then stood dumbfounded as his brother withdrew and stepped out of the elevator. What the hell did he mean by that? Sighing in frustration, he watched as the doors closed again, barely paying any attention to the other guy in the elevator as it ascended.

Naruto reached the top of the stairs and went over to Shikamaru's office door and knocked three times. " Come in" said Shikamaru from the other side of the door. He entered.
" Um...Hello Shikamaru-Kun."
" Oh, it's you. Hello. Come over and have a seat." said Shikamaru. He had his back to Naruto and was looking out the window at the clouds. Once Naruto sat down he proceeded to give him his first assignment " Naruto-Kun, I need you to round up everyone and tell them that there will be a meeting in the meeting room at 8:00 tonight and they have no choice but to attend. I assume that will be simple enough since most everyone should be in the hotel by now, by you know how people around here are, always coming and going."
" Right. "
" You may leave."
Naruto didn't like being talked to like he was an inferior. Shikamaru hadn't even looked at him. He got up and tool his leave. He would have everyone there by 8 all right. He needed to do his missions correctly and make everyone acknowledge him as a force to be reckoned with.

Shino had arrived at his floor. He left the staris and glanced around. 'Unusually quiet today...' he thought but shrugged it off. Fishing his room key out of his pocket, he groaned and then sighed when he finally found the elusive object. He opened the door and got out the luggage bags he had used for the past month while he had been searching for an apartment. "Damn dad..." he muttered and scowled as he threw his stuff into the bags. When he had finished packing, he picked up his luggage and waited in front of the elevator after he pushed the button to call it. "Why is it taking so long?"
