Trina walked down the concrete hallway, aware that she was sleeping in a chair in her bedroom, and also aware that she could feel the cold ground beneath her feet. It was strange. She paused for a moment, slightly disoriented. It felt so odd to be cut off from water, in the state she was in... She was outside the rusted iron door, staring at it. "This isn't real...it's gone...all gone..." She said in English, and to her surprise, Angelic Humana words replaced them, echoing around the hall. She felt a slight tug on her mind, and let it pull her from the place, eyes opening to stare at her ceiling.

"Why not?" Sachin asked her in English, Trina staring at the room with fear and trepidation. She was in the room she had spent so much time in...but it was over...wasn't it? It had to be... "You think this isn't real? It happened Trivla, you know it did." Trina turned a little to see him leaning agianst the wall, light brown hair tousled and red eyes staring at her coldly. Her attention returned to the room, remembering it. It was empty, gray concrete covered in black soot. In the center of it was a metal chair, with bands running across the back and arms. She knew how hot the chair got, how it's metal could burn her skin. She thought of when she had sat there, flames burning everywhere as her troubled mind tried to keep control of her body, of her form. Sachin had moved behind her, gripping her shoulders and moving her forward. "No...wait..." Trina murmured, but she was powerless to stop him, her hands were gloved, she could not summon anything. His mere prescense sucked the hope out of her. "Wait for what? What do you have to fear? As you said...this isn't real." He said in a low, falsely compassionate voice. He was guiding her to the chair. "No!" Trina shouted, trying to wrench free, but he shoved her down into it anyway, as if she had done nothing. With a panic, Trina found herself once again bound to the metal chair, cold, but that would change. "You can't!!! You're dead!" She shouted at him, terrified of what she knew was coming. "Please...I killed you..." She said dismally, pleading. "Perhaps, but you know as well as I do we don't die...my existance proves it...your existance proves it." Sachin smiled cruelly. "I can rise again." Then he left the room, leaving Trina to pull desperately at her constraints, full of fear at what would come next. The room burst into flames, consumed by them nearly. Trina tried desperately to grapple with the pain, to keep the scream in her throat. The Muffin! Trina tried fiercely to remember that's where she really was, that she could go back. It was hard though, and she lost the thought for a moment, the flames hurting her, burning her skin black. She knew it would heal, only to be burned again. Trina kept the scream in, fighting it off. If she screamed, he would win. She did okay for a few minutes, then the flames were even hotter, stinging her eyes, the flames licking her sides with heat. She couldn't help it, she screamed. With a start, she was pulled back violently, waking up on the floor. The muffin...she was safe. Trina's breathe was ragged, much too quick as she hugged herself and shivered. She would never truly be able to escape...with a half sob, she shook as rain fell onto the roof, more of a sleet due to the cold.

"What about it Trivla?" Sachin asked her, a slight grin on his face. She could do nothing, say nothing...her wings were bound to the wall with magic, making her shoulders hurt at the strain, yet she couldn't flicker them off. Her hands were gloved, feet a few inches off the floor. She couldn't move away from the wall without considerable pain in her wings, which she had never really thought of as physical objects. He grinned wider at her when she said nothing. "Sounds like a great idea to me." "Leave me..." Trina said softly, tiredly. "I am a part of you Trivla...I wait for you when you are awake now...it is atonement." "No." She said defiantly, but it wasn't convincing. "Just...no..." Sachin smiled, stepping closer. Trina's hands weren't bound together, she could strike him. But she knew the consequences of it...she certainly did... "Yes I am. I've been wandering through your mind Trivla...you know what you're friends would say if tehy saw how shattered it is? They would call you crazy. They would shun you." Trina stared at him. "I am not crazy." "Yes you are my dear...think about it...you are unfocused and unable to concentrate. Mind divided between keeping yourself right and-" "Be quiet! I know my faults!!!" As she said it, she was falling. Waking up safe in her room again.

Not again...please...I just want to rest...nothing more. Trina pleaded with herself, shivering as she stood in the center of an empty room, the walls white, a lone light bulb shining. She had been here once...but she couldn't remember where...or why. Or anything about it really. She simply stood there, continuing to shiver. She was scared...this was just like before... But I have new thinking now...I am not helpless or lost anymore...I am stronger. She thought, though she knew it was useless here. Her new thoughts and ideas were pointless in this place. Trina trembled even more. She was afraid to move, not sure what would happen...and yet...she couldn't stand here all day...

Trina's muscles were sore from standing so long, staying so still. How long had it been? Too long...had to be... She let out her breath carefully, wings flickering on. It was the first movement she had made since she had found herself there. The light went out, leaving Trina to hover a moment in nothing, crying out despite herself. She was disoriented, crashing into the ceiling in a panic. She was liked a caged bird that suddenly decides to escape. After several repeated tries, Trina fell back to the floor, on hands and knees as she breathed heavily. Then the light flickered back on. Trina's head snapped up, dark eyes somewhat wild. "Don't!" She shouted to the room, her own voice mocking her as it echoed, hurting her ears. "Stop toying with me!!" She said again, just as loud. She felt the smallest of tugs. What was that? Trina rolled, thinking she was being attacked. The pull rolled with her. "The Muffin..." She murmured, and the words brought her to her bed, eyes opening. Another dream....

Trina sat bound in the metal chair again, breathing in gasps while her skin slowly healed from the last burning. She was scared of when he would do it again... She wasn't pushed beyond anger though, but that she must control. Revert, and he had won. But she was still okay...in mind screaming pain, but okay. She cursed her race, wishing she could just die...She hated this pain and torture...hated it. Trina dispersed the thought, turning her mind to other things, keeping away the panic. "They noticed." Her dark eyes flared open, taking in Sachin, leaning against the door with his arms crossed. Trina said nothing. Each english word spoken echoed off the walls in her own language, his language. Their language...Trina fought against the idea. She was not one of them...not like Sachin. "Nothing to say again Trivla?" He said, falsely sweet. You would think they were just having some of Tomo's tea... "Nothing to say to you." She said tiredly, angry. She regretted it though when he stood straight up, flinching even though he was across the room. "Why do you resist me?" He said in Angelic Humana, catching her off guard. "Because I am not one to be controlled...did you believe I would remain witless forever? I am not a child Sachin...Do not misdirect yourself." Trina replied and Sachin laughed. "So I see...I've been exploring Trivla. I know what you've managed to do for yourself...but I also know how easily manipulated you can be..." Trina said nothing. Sachin continued. " Before...it was your ignorance that saved you from me. I understand this now. You were nothing but a child...young and naive. You remain somewhat naive, but I can see your mind is that of a woman now." He looked thoughtful for a moment, then stepped forward, coming towards her. Trina didn't move. She was used to Sachin's games. Other than the flames, she could endure...she had to endure. Besides, she was bound to the chair...there wasn't anywhere to go... Sachin leaned forward, looking at her eyes. "Freak." He said in English, and Trina felt the word cut her heart deep. At least he had ceased speaking in Angelic Humana... "Monster." She said to him in return, flinching when he drew his hand back. When he did not strike her though, she opened her eyes again. He was studying her closely, his proximity unnerving. "You're afraid of men Trivla..." He said, grinning at her. "That is not a fear I knew..." He put his hand to his chin, the other resting against the back of the chair. "Must be new...was it because of me darlin'?" He said in a slight southern accent, and Trina tried to move backwards in disgust. "No." She said, not liking the implication. Though it was true...but she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing it... Sachin laughed at her, eyes closed for a moment. When he opened them again, they weren't as cruel. "Why won't you trust me again Trivla? I need you now..." Trina shook her head. She wouldn't allow herself to be swayed...he would only hurt her friends..."Why not?" He asked softly and Trina replied with Angelic Humana "Trust not him that broke faith. He who betrayed thee once, shall betray thee again." Then she felt herself slipping away. "Either way Trivla...I will wait for you."

"How dare you confide in them!" Sachin bellowed, throwing Trina against another wall. Her back hit hard, wings flickering on before fading away again. "How dare you say anything! Stupid, stupid little girl!" He said, charging forward once again, glaring at her. Trina raised a gloved hand in defense, but he grasped the wrist and yanked her to her feet again, pushing her away roughly, into the wall, his hand holding her up by the shoulder. Trina couldn't say anything, the breath knocked out of her, dazed and tired. "...You're dead...dead..." She murmured finally, not even flinching when he knee'ed her in the stomach. He let go, stalking away as she sank to the floor. "Freak! One thing you had to do...just one...now I'm going to have mages to contend with...damn magic users..." He growled, whirling around to face her again. "And you! What makes you think they give a damn about you? You're a freak Trivla. Made to serve your purpose and then return. You haven't though, have you? Oh no...Tradition be damned, you choose to live...." Trina knew this accusation was unfair. "I didn't know the laws! We were in a war! You're war!" She exclaimed, feeling desperate. "And I-" "Don't remember it..." Sachin finished, eyeing her thoughtfully. "I know...what you had your mind for is all there, bits and pieces of your existance...you are meant to be controlled Trivla...I've prepped you for it enough I think." Trina shivered, knowing he meant the several years of her captivity. "No...I have the right to life..." Sachin came closer. "You've had it...how long ago since your creation? Youngest of our race...yet so old now...none of it on your face, in your mind. Matter a fact, I calculate only seven years of concious life...I can take it away from you again...let you lie mindless for another fifty years, two hundred...all your friends will have died by then..." Trina stared at him. "No." Sachin came closer, leaning down to smirk in her face. "Yes. They won't all live forever." Trina shook her head, trying to wake up. "That won't work now, Trina, you're body is too tired...you will have to wait...here...with me." He smirked again, and Trina tried to back away from him, but she was still against the wall. "To the fire room then?" He asked, grabbing Trina's cloak, pulling her up as he walked. "No! Sachin-I-just don't!" SHe said panicky, tryign to free herself, but he was too strong. He left the room for the one next to it, teh room with the metal chair. "I think I'll stay and watch this time...brings back the good ole' days." He said, and Trina screamed as the room erupted in flames, forgetting everything but fear.

Sachin sat grinning at her, in the very chair he usually put her in. He wasn't bound there though, and neither was she...though it didn't help her any. She was on her side, skin nearly healed completely, throat sore form smoke inhalation and screaming. The silence was horrible. Trina, not for the first time, wished she could die. "How about now Trivla? I promise...you won't ever know...never feel a thing..." He said smoothly, sympathetic. "I don't like to see you suffer Trina." Trina closed her eyes. He had used her name, trying to get her to conform...then again, he had said he didn't like to see her...wait...It is him making you suffer! Ignore the lies! Trina opened her eyes again, staring at him silently. Sachin growled, and Trina breathed a painful sigh of relief. It had been a trick. Thank goodness she had not accepted it...But now... Sachin stood, glowering at her, taking a few steps forward. Trina felt her heart stop. "Then you know what I will do Trina? I will leave you here...How can you get out when you're body sleeps but gains no rest? You cannot...It is a hopeless thing you do. It will end the same, no matter what..." He leaned down to grasp her again, and Trina knew she was screwed. She had to get out of here, and now. Falling back on her very last reserves of energy, Trina focused her mind on her body, not the aching one of this place, but the resting one of the muffin. She called herself back home. Sachin's eyes widened. "You will be back! I wi-" His voice cut off as Trina fell away, one thought going through her head. Fall back asleep, and you are done for....

Sachin became aware of himself again. He was still in the part of Trina's mind he had broken into yesterday, floating in the nothingness, sound of water in his ears. A few hours ago, he had tried to cease control of the space, the darkness had become blue, hitting him several times. Each time he managed a little control, the blue would hit him with renewed force. Right now though, he was recovering from the last bout. He would have his way...she couldn't fight him off forever. Even now, her energy was low...

"She's reverted now Sachin!!! We're stuck here!" Arian shouted, red faced, wings cracking with energy. The man of her current fury jsut looked at her, as if she were some strange animal. Arian let out a frustrated shout, fist reaching out to hit a wall, but there wasn't one to hit. What little form Trina's mind had had before was gone. They were both lost in the void, the sound of rushing water everywhere. "No...she is out of control...but that is to our benefit." Sachin said quietly. Arian glared at him. "While you were having your fun, Trina was steeling herself against us. Then you screwed with her mind and now she's up and reverted. How is that to our benefit?" Sachin shrugged. "You know as well as I do that she will be totally lost when she awakens again. If not insane. She won't remember her freedom, or my...'sessions' at first. We'll get her to trust us enough to give us form again, and then we'll just seal her in one of us instead. As long as she does not remember, we will be fine." Arian looked away. She didn't like the idea of hurting Trina, never had. But it was really...tragic. Trina should not be allowed to go about freely...Arian sighed, ignoring Sachin's musings, and flew away into more void.
