She settled with him, careful of her fragile wings and giggled with the swirling blossom petals as some tickled her nose and lips.

Ameeron smiled and looked up at the trees, feeling at calm with himself as he let the pink swirl around him. It clung to his hair and clothes, settling in his lap and his outstretched palms. But he enjoyed their soft dances down to the ground, their final dance.
"it's very pretty" he commented softly, a smile tugging at his lips. His blue eyes shinign as he observed the still and seemingly perfect world around them.

Ame smiled and silently agreed with her, though Life was never that easy. He hugged her close to him, one hand lifting to pet her hair while the other moved to hold her hand. His face stayed next to hers.
"yes, but it never is" he whispered softly, the garden seemed to still for a moment. No wind blew, no shower of petals for a minute or so. Ame let his gaze drift up to the sky and then the garden seemed to come alive now.

Jay sat outside by a lake, it wasn't a particulary hot day and for that the butterfly was thankful as his robes always made it such a fright going out in hot weather. He almost felt like he was melting in some way. His gray eyes focused on the woodland around him, he couldn't see anyone around.
It was nice but it was lonely.
Oliver and Ameeron were off showing Juthian around and he was left to hold down the fort, the house had been restricting and boring and restlessly he had walked here, Settled himself on the bank and let his slippered feet rest just where the water lapped at the stones.

The lake, Derek knew it was somewhere around here. He had seen the map, glanced at it on Kate's table in the livingroom. The table that was shaped like a drawbridge, she was such a loon.
He stumbled out of a few bushes and grinned. There it was. The beautiful cool waters of the lake. He didn't even look around, didn't even note that there was some one just beside him. Instead the red head merely pulled off his golden sandles and rolled up his white pant legs. His feet dipped in the water and he just smiled.
So relaxing. So peaceful... he was glad to be away from the knight armor and the odd house he called home. Wild, hetic. Odd. He had more than his fill of teasing his blonde companion anyways. She was too easy to tease.
"Perfect..."
His voice was lower than most people's, and it sounded content for the moment. the jewels in his golden links of jewelry shone in the sun. Catching his eye, making him smile. He loved it. Loved the sun. Though he could never get that tan he wanted for some odd reason...

Jay was silent as he stared across the almost glass like surface of the lake, watching the little waves beat and move the pebbles at his feet. He turned his head, his cutain of silver and gold hair moving almost hypontically as he did so, slipping down his shoulder to rest at one side.
silently, he watched the Red Panda with interest, he seemed just like Oli--oblivious to everything but the thing he was focused on. If he was honest he found it amusing. He let a smile flit across his handsome features.
"ay, it is isn't it??" Jay asked after a few moments, he wanted to see how the red-head reacted to being sprung on like that. Like a game. Jay loved games, monopoly always amused him.

A voice that wasn't his own. Derek froze, his mind whirling. Who was it? Why should he even ask himself that?!?! He only knew one person really, and it was a girl. This was a male voice. He turned toward the voice, to stare at the male. Pretty, Derek would give him that much.
"Yes...perfect. I knew this lake was some where around here."
There were marking on his arms and chest, from bushes and thorns tuggin on him as he scrambled here. Nothing major, little pains he could ignore just fine. Those bright green eyes stared at the other person, his questioning nature written all over his face. Just who was this person?

Jay watched the other's muscles tightened when he finally registered his voice, he let an amused smile flicker across his face before replacing it with a friendly one, looking kind of smug always gave a negative mark out. He was handsome, Jay thought, now able to get a proper look at him. He cocked his head to the side, his hair moving again, his wings folded down into his back.
"it's nice and peaceful here, great for collecting thoughts" he added with a smile, he stood up, dusting his fine robes off as he did so. Slowly he stepped away from the water and towards the other male.
"my name is Jay, it's nice to meet you" Jay greeted, bowing a little at the middle, he was awfully polite, a habit he had picked up from his parents. Derek's face opened to him like a book, he was curious.

Derek made no move to stand, but when the other bowed, his head lowered as well. He had manners...some what. He could have them when he wanted to... And he didn't want to more often than not.
"I'm Derek Michael. Nice to meet you Jay."
He just sat there, a small smile on his lips. Already his mind was trying to figure out how to tease this person. Now that the shock was over... and the fact he was planning something could be told by the twinkle in his bright eyes. And the fact the smile turned into a grin. Jay seemed very... dry.
His feet softly kicked in the water, just ever so slightly. Suddenly, the red head just laid down on the ground, eyes closing. He was relaxed for the moment. But that grin wasn't gone just yet. No... it never would be truly.

Once introductions were over Jay seated himself next to Derek, keeping a few centimetres of distance between then, just so they had some personal space boudaries.
"the pleasure is all mine"
He smiled at Derek before turning back to watch the water, he knew that grin, like Jay had noted, Derek's face was a little like a book. His emotions written all over it. He watched the red-head when he moved out of the corner of his eye, a small smile tugged his lips.

Maybe it was Derek's playful nature, or the fact he felt relaxed. He had just met this person, and already he was planning to somehow tease him. Funny, right?
"Well Jay, it seems to me as you're well, very dry. And on such a day as this, that's frankly, uncalled for."
His voice had changed, it was light hearted for a moment. Then, at the end, it wasn't exactly playful...but more dark. A dark playful. The red head was still lying there, eyes closed, when his feet kicked up suddenly, splashing both of them with water. The grin was followed by a laugh as his bright eyes peeked open at the other person.

Jay knew it was coming, that tone said it and that rather offish comment did to. He flinched a little when the water hit him, soaking his hair and robe. He stayed still for a moment or two, his dripping wet hair hiding his face from view.
"why how refreshing" he commented softly, sweeping his wet hair out of his face, a smile on his features. He kicked his foot into the water, soaking Derek and himself a little, just for revenge.

The moment or two of silence was golden for Derek. He truly believed he had gotten at the other. Teased him... but when Jay spoke, those dreams were dashed. In fact, once again, Derek felt as if the tables were begining to turn again.
Then, another soaking of water hit him. Derek couldn't help himself, a laugh fell from his lips as his sides shook. Jay seemed so calm and collected, and yet here he was, teasing him back. It was funny. The red head relaxed again, done trying to tease for a moment. It'd be back in a couple of minutes.
"Yes, very refreshing."

Jay watched the other with a smile, a laugh passing his pale lips aswell, Oli gave good practice for this sort of thing. His gray eyes twinkled in delight, and he attempted to wring out his wet curtain of hair, how troublesome it could be when wet!
"Well, that definately beats a handshake" he commented, his hands wringing droplets from his hair, afterwards he placed it over a shoulder, so it lay down his front, directly in the sun's path.
