I'm afraid I'm going to come under fire for this. xD
I really have no problem with it, as long as it's not some dumbass typing in whitesmoke and going "liek is nto wiite!!1!"
Kill me.

What's begun to irk me more lately is when people put that "border" of text and a little animation on all their posts. They often also centre whatever they're actually typing, which makes it hard to find amongst the other decorative nonsense of their post. That coupled with tiny pale pink text and I'll probably skip over your post. E.g. @===@ Sometimes....... I really like to @===@
Hey dudes!

Yes, I can agree with that statement. The bright colors and small fonts drive me crazy. If I use a different color I use:
Dark Blue Dark Red Or Indigo
Those are the only colors I use besides the automatic black.

That's okay, I like dark colours. As for slogans/anims-- scream

I like to add indigo color to mine, like this, but that's all I do to my fonts.

personaly I have no problem with how people post, if I really want to read somthing badly enough I could just higlight the words or quote their post. These two things are usualy enough to let me read whatever anyone has to say.

I think people should be able to express themselves with the colors and fonts if they want to, but they should keep it readable.

At least with unreadable font sizes and colors, I can alter the text to be readable in a program like WordPad. If I really feel that I can't go on another minute without reading their blasted post, that is.
Unfortunately, however, there is no mechanical online translator from txt tlk (a.k.a. chatspeak) to English. Until there is, chatspeak bothers me much more than ridiculous font.

I type everything in small text and in red. It started with me needing to find my posts quickly and having it highlighted made it easier. Then it just became my trait. I do despise tiny text used for no reason though. It takes too long to read and I'm always in a hurry, although when used properly I find it clever.

Definately, I tend to use boldening/italicising for effect. [Does the word 'italicising' even exist?]

If it's like this, I don't care.
This, however, makes me want to gauge my eyes out...
Not to mention the color's absolutely hideous!

Meh, some people like to make their writing look extravagant, but I just type all my text in indigo. Pretty color, that it is! smile

I think it's acceptable to a point. This is O.K.: Hey guys, how are you? This, on the other hand, is not O.K.: Hey guys, how are you?
