Bairn stared off at Rahu as he moved away. Wuss he thought to himself, chuckling. Honestly...if he wanted to leave Delano and Bairn on a count of their 'meeting' was getting a little over board...well that was just silly. Listening to what the red unicorn had to say before speaking himself, the tanned stallion only grinned. "Mocha?? That one mare that is related to Orchu? Right?" He remember hearing his father talk something about this young wind mare that lived with them...and was related to his 'uncle' Orchu. "Good. That's very reassuring, Delano." He said sarcastically, but was secretly grateful of the words that the unicorn spoke. Glad to have someone other then himself to be there for her.

And then he let Delano taunt Rahu first, laughing at the stupid black stallion. What in the world gave him the right to just walk away? Other then the fact that Bairn himself wanted to the same...this meeting was quite interesting. "You know, dearest friend...you're running away from your future. Not the present. If you leave now, who knows what'll happen. Delano's right. You don't deserve those foals, those beautiful foals will never love you if you run." He smirked, but suddently felt something inside him want to run with Rahu. He was going to be a father too, and it scared him half to death. "Are you scared?" He mumbled.

The tanned stallion just stood there and watched Rahu...waiting and actually expecting Rahu to turn around and run. And never return. That's what he deserved, anyways. To never experience a family the way he was supposed to. Turning back to Delano, Bairn shrugged. "It's understandable. You took my sister." He sneered, but then hid his slight hatred with a grin. "You better. If I find you ever left her...well I'd make sure you never saw our family again. Or anyone, for that matter." Bairn shrugged. Whatever happened in the end, happened. No sense stopping fate.

Rahu still had flicked back earsand went he caught Delano's words it made him freeze in place. he didn't move or turn , just spoke his retort with a turned back. " who said i was running? do not asume im running for any reeason at all. i gave Aruna my word and i will be keepign it wether you liek it or not Delano. im walking off to be by myself for a bit and rather not be accused of things and mocked, unless your willign to stop me now and have a nasty fight on your hands." sneerign every word, he was sstill beyond angery adn then when bairn spoke it only put full tothe fire. " Bairn stop your little act now and stop calling me dearest friend. i have had enough of the two of you idiots asuming things of me." snarling, he then started to walk off again, he truely needed time to think.

Delano of course caught Bairn's sarcasm in his voice, but it did not anger him or make him feel negatively towards the stallion. He completely understood why Bairn felt and acted as he did and respected it. Perhaps some day he would earn Bairn's respect and trust. Given time, he was sure he could. "Yes I believe that is her. " He flicked his long tail back and forth a bit, still watching Rahu. You just never knew how this stallion would react so taking one's eyes off him was never a good idea.

"Oh beautiful foals they are Bairn. You should come see them sometime. They really do deserve a good father but its unlikely Rahu will live up to that. He has yet to prove to live up to anything good from what I've seen." His voice was directed right at Rahu. He knew he was listening. Good. That stallion needed a kick in the arse to smarten up. "Thank goodness Aruna is a wonderful mother and of course has a good family to support her just as I do"

Rahu's response finally reached Delano's keen ears. and he listened silently a moment as the dark stallion spoke. "Oh no never assume Rahu. Its not like you ever gave a reason for us to think that...I mean reallly...you abandoned her once when she confessed love....Why should we think you'd abandon the foals too?" His voice dripped with an angry sarcasm. He had seen the pain and anguish Aruna endured because of this stallion playing with her heart. He would make sure that would happen no more. Aruna was his mate and he loved her. No one would dare harm her now unless they wished to endure the blood red unicorn's wrath.

His head tilted as Rahu made his threat clear. "Oh a nasty fight....should I shake in my hooves now then? I mean heck we all remember what happened the last time you and I met in battle...don't we Rahu....I imagine you can still feel the scar on your chest. " He was angry now. He resented letting him live, he resented having done it for Aruna, but held no ill will towards her. It had been his choice to save Rahu. "I wish now I hadn't healed you to save your life Rahu, so I guess its sadly ironic it is you, the one who's life I spared and saved, that gives me the most painful thing a stallion can endure. What a wonderful payback that is, isn't it? " He snorted, stomping a hoof as the hateful words he held back for so long finally came out. Rage tore him up inside and if he had not promised Aruna he would not harm Rahu, he would have been happy to start a fight and dispose of him right there and then. But instead he let the stallion walk away, angry crimson eyes fixed on the black stallion as he left.

Finally he heard Bairn speak again and he turned his attention to the light stallion, his expression softening from the hateful, pained glare he had been giving Rahu. "I promise you this Bairn, I will never leave her. If I ever did you have my consent to hunt me down and do as you will with me. Without her, life just would not really matter anymore. " His expression was now saddened and his head dropped a bit. He should return to Aruna. He needed time to think and cool off too. This meeting had good points as well as bad. It had re-opened those wounds he had sealed and tried to hide, but it also had served to make some contact with Bairn and in his own secret mind, he hoped good would come of that.

((Sorry it took me forever))

Aha, Rahu was getting madder and Bairn didn't care. He liked having this little conversation, even though the black stallion decided to kill it and walk off. "But, Rahu!" He whinned, "You are my dearest friend, Rahu!" The tanned stallion laughed at himself and then just stood there and let the idiot black stallion walk off. If that was what he wanted, if he wanted an angry Aruna on his tail, well then that was his decision.

Turning back to Delano...he wondered as to why that unicorn kept up a friendly conversation with him. It was almost like he wanted Bairn to like him, which would probably never happen. It took a LOT for this particular stallion to have a friend. "I will. I'll come visit with my own children when they all arrive. A big family is a happy family." The stallion joked, and had to hold back a small chuckle in case it made him look like an idiot. "Rahu...well he is their father. Whether they like it or not. He will be there. Like our father. Aruna and I...we love him but he annoys us. Ahaha, yes if Aruna is anything like our mother when it comes to motherhood...she'll be an excellent mother."

He stood there quietly, listening to Delano contiuenally rant of Rahu. Aha, how more perfectly right could one unicorn be? Nodding his head quickly in Rahu's direction he agreed with Delano. "You'd abandon the foals, Rahu. It's in your nature. Perhaps you wouldn't know you were doing so, but you will." And then Bairn almost let out another laugh as he had the mental image of Rahu and Delano fighting. Quite funny, actually. To watch those two fight. He himself would never lower himself and fight so watching one was much more interesting. "Rahu? You have a scar?" He sneered in a teasing way. "Oh, my I didn't know any of this." Bairn blinked, and stared at the pair.

"Delano you saved Rahu's life? What kind of idiot are you? And Rahu...do you not even care that he did so? Ha, I'd be eterally grateful to the one who saves my life." The tanned stallion kept an eye on the angry Delano, afraid he might lash out any moment and accidentally hurt him.

Bairn let himself finally smile at Delano. "Alright, I believe you. If your so damn determined to earn my trust, I believe you." He laughed and then nodded his head slowly. "I'll have to agree with you on that one. Life without Astia, I've known, and hated." He looked back towards Rahu and then at Delano. Interesting meeting indeed. He'd have to mention it to Aruna later, if Delano didn't beat him. Or even Astia.

Rahu stopped once again and visably his muscles where twitching with the pent up rage he was holding back. he only gave on last sneering responce. " you never where suppost to and you haven't a clue as to why i did what i did even now." stalking off and disapearing through the trees ahead of him, he would be gone for a few days to think. after sometiem to himself he would go find Aruna and talk to her.

Delano watched as Bairn taunted Rahu some more. Was Bairn's hatred of Rahu so bitter? Delano did not doubt it was and he knew there would be good reason for it. His own hatred and resentment of Rahu grew more bitter the more he saw or spoke to Rahu. It shone clearly in his crimson eyes, easily seen by anyone. Bairn's voice, directed to him interrupted his thoughts and he nodded. "That would be nice. I am sure both Aruna and Astia would love that. I would like to see her mother and father come visit too, and see the foals. I am sure they would enjoy time with them."

He would have smiled at Bairn but the air around them was tense due to the situation with Rahu, and he did not feel like smiling. "Unless he wants to face an angry Aruna, he had better be there. there is no honor in abandoning a mare with foals. But then Rahu has no honor. " He turned to look at bairn, his ears flickering in Rahu's direction. "I know she will be. She is already very good with them. I'm sure such traits run in the family"

Delano rolle dhis eyes painfully. "Oh please do not remind me. I found him and Aruna in a fight. They had fought and he beat her down. She was near death and I healed her before turning my anger on him, to each him a lesson. I never intended to hurt him enough to kill him. My horn pierced his heart in the chest as he tripped while rearing. " Delano hun his head slightly, recalling that night vividly. "I did it for her. Regardless of what he did to her...she did not want him to die, and so it was for her and her alone that I did not let Rahu die. I could not bear to see her pain if he did. There was no honor in letting him die by my own actions, even if accidental."

It was then Delano caught Rahu's last words before he took off. His lip curled in a snarl as he watched Rahu leave with a hateful glare.

Bairn's voice once again brought Delano back to reality. "Thank you. I will do my best to do whats right by her, and you, her family. I could not bare life without her. It would be one agonizing, painful moment after another. Misery. She brings me joy and happiness. She truly is an angel to me." Just wait until Aruna heard about all this. He knew she would have Rahu's a** for it.

Bairn watched as Rahu left the scene completely, disappearing amongst the trees. The tanned stallion had half a mind to follow him, just to see where the black one was heading off too...but he decided it was best if he just left that one alone. It wasn't possible to make him stay and do what you wanted him to do...the only one that had any power like that would be Aruna...and if Bairn knew Rahu well enough...Rahu would listen to what Aruna had originally asked him. It was just going to take time.

Now that the Delano and himself were alone, he had no choice but to give the unicorn his full attention. Ah, nothing better to do now...except go back to Astia...who was probably awake now and angry at him for leaving. "My parents? Oh, dear. Delano if you let my parents near those foals...you won't hear the end of their squeeling joy. 'BABIES', they'll scream." The tanned stallion shook his head and almost laughed. As much as he wanted his parents to see their grandchildren...it scared him how much they might...freak out about the whole thing.

"No, no honor at all." Bairn too turned into Rahu's direction one last time and sighed. Why did this have to happen to a family such as his own? Was someone punishing them for reasons that weren't obvious? Or was it meant to happen...for the good? No, it couldn't be for the good, that wouldn't make any sense. "Many traits run in our family, except thank god the hyperness died out."

And then he listened to the small but interesting 'story' that Delano spoke about Rahu's fight. "Rahu beat my sister?" He spat, eyes wide. He was sure that the stallion was capable of doing something...but nothing like that. Beating Aruna! Oh, he was going to pay. "Thank the skies you were there, Delano. If she were to die..." Bairn's voice trailed off and he refused to think anything of the like. "Well, I must say that he deserved what he got. How dare he even try to hurt her...I would have meant to kill him if that was me." He spoke coldly, even though his words were a lie. Bairn wasn't the tough sort...he knew how to talk...but when it came to actually doing so...it wasn't in his nature to hurt. "I understand why you healed him though...I think if I ever ran into a stallion that did something to Astia I'd have to listen to her wishes over mine."

Bairn watched as Delano made a face at the disappeared Rahu and he grinned. "Now, don't let him get to you anymore. It's better to play with his mind then to yell at him." And then he silently listened to the unicorn's description of her, automatically thinking of Astia. "Ah, Delano it's a pleasure to hear such kind words of her, but it's still the brotherly protection that's stopping me from...liking you. So, for lack of a better term, I respect you my dear friend." There, he said it and he hated saying it...but it was what Aruna wanted, afterall.

Delano chuckled softly. "Well I am sure Aruna would be delighted if they came and perhaps love the help with the foals. I just hope they won't be too angry with her for them being Rahu's foals. It was hard for me to accept but I could never leave her. It was very hard for her to deal with herself."

satisifed Rahu had indeed left he turned his full attention to the light stallion. "Honor seems to almost be a thing of the past these days with most stallions. It is sad but I am sure Aruna will do a great job raising her foals to have more honor then their father." Delano tilted his head a moment. "hyperness?"

Delano only sighed and nodded to confirm Bairn's question about Rahu beating down Aruna. "Yes it is true. You might be lucky to find a hoof scar on her rump if you look hard enough. I fear what may have happened if I did not arrive when I did. I almost lost her that day and we were not even mates yet at that point. But I loved her dearly. " He recalled that day, clearly and vividly and he would never forget it. He still cursed himself for saving Rahu. "Killing is not in my nature although if it were to happen now I would kill him in a heartbeat if I thought Aruna would spare my hide for doing so, but alas she still cares deeply for him as a best friend and I cannot so much as harm him or I would feel her wrath." Delano nodded at Bairn's words. "But that is love is it not? Being obediant to your lover over yourself?" He chuckled softly. There was nothign he would not do for Aruna.

Delano let his gaze meet Bairn's a moment and then he nodded. "I understand, I could not ask for anything more of you and I thank you for saying that much Bairn. If it means anything, you have my respect and admiration as well. " Delano noticed the sky was beginning to darken. It was time he returned home to watch over Aruna. He did not like elaving her alone after dark. "I must return to Aruna. If Rahu is not there to watch over her then I must be there. Heaven forbid anything happens to her once the sun sets and the night predators come out."
