Ritsuko nodded, "It shouldn't take us long to get home. We know where we're going, now." She said, looking at the road ahead. It would really only be a few more minutes 'till they reached Barton.

((Is that a 'change forums' hint? whee )) Trina fell silent again, merely following. She was never afraid of getting lost, she could always find the lake, and then the muffin from there. That's how she had gotten back after crash landing halfway across the world.

Ritsuko smiled and wrapped her coat around Tomokazu. "How could anyone want to hurt you?" She asked him as they walked, hoping he wouldn't get a cramp from her carrying him. He was starting to get a little heavy.

No one worth much... Trina thought, the man flashing in her head before she discarded it. Trina gave Ritsuko a glance. "He spoke of traveling with you before..." She said softly, unintrusively, trying to think of other things, or of Tomo's health.

"Oh! Yeah, I raised him since he was three." Ritsuko explained, shifting so that she could hold him better. "I'm not really seen as his mum. Our relationship is... a little different than that. I'm not really sure I can explain it at all."

Trina nodded, smiling faintly. "That's okay, I don't really understand 'family' anyhow..." She trailed off, then added. "I don't have any myself...do you need help carrying Tomo? I can't do it by myself, but I could assist you..." She offered, looking a bit sheepish. "I can't carry much sadly..."

Ritsuko stopped, "I think carrying him between the two of us would be awkward, but if you could hold him for a few seconds.... He's really not that heavy, even with being pregnant." She said, passing the teen off to Trina.

Trina tensed, her knees buckling as she kept herself from falling. It would be easier if she just flew, but she didn't really want the odd questions that would follow. Luckily, she had strong leg muscles even if her arms weren't all that great, she just didn't want to drop him. It was kind of funny, Tomo wasn't that much bigger than she was... "Preg-nat? I have heard him say so, but I do not know what that means..."

Once in Trina's arms, Ritsuko turned around and pulled him onto her back to carry him that way. "He's carrying a baby inside his body. Usually only females can, but Tomo's been so messed up inside that he got pregnant!" She shrugged and continued on down the path. The lights of the Muffin were beginning to come into view.

Trina blinked. "Tomo is having children? I'm so happy for him!" She said cheerfully, not really getting that it was an odd occurance for a male to have children. "How wonderful!" She looked forward to seeing more children around the inn, she liked them. Almost better than adults really.

Ritsuko nodded and smiled, "I'm happy for him, too. I honestly can't wait." She said, getting closer to the Muffin, "Almost home." She murmured, hearing Tomo's tail drag in the snow. She reached behind her and pulled it up with her.
When they reached the door, Kaia pushed it open to let the others in.
