Victum Soul My Hollow Victum Soul My Hollow Victum Soul I think it sound so much better with Amy singing... but still not good enough. You don't think it's a good song? (is that what you mean?) I do agree but i listen to it because Amy sings in it. I do love when the band cover's Thoughtless. I persionaly think that it's amazing, but then again that is just my fangirlism kicking in. I am in love with her voice, i know there are people out there who have better capabilities and whatnot but she is my all-time favorite singer/musician. I just get something out of the band and her lyrics that i dont get with any other band. And no matter what musical preferance or style or genre i have ventured into Ev is still my favorite band. (even though i hate rock music now which kinda makes me a hypocrite.) neutral

Digital Malevolence i listened to more of Evanescence's music and i still think they need to add more music and not rely too much on her voice.....its like that with a lot of female fronted bands, they always seem to rely on the vocalists voice to much and barely play any music. I like the old stuff the best. Origin, Evanescence Ep, and everything that released before Fallen. I love Fallen too, it had more of the heavy vibe; but the older stuff was deep and powerful.

I love Fallen too, it had more of the heavy vibe; but the older stuff was deep and powerful. yeah, i prefer their older stuff aswell. i heard i newer song on the radio and it was just the occasional hit of a snare and bass drum and a soft acoustic guitar in the backround, i thought that song was horrible.

They wanted to release it as a balland only. BUT no radio would play it without guitars, drums, and bass. POeple complained it was a classical song with out the "power" behind it. They had to forfit what they wanted for the song for what the music industry wanted. Yeah its a good song either way, but its not what the band intended.

I like both versions, and even without all the instruments it is still a power ballad. But I like the enhanced version better, cause Im a musician, I love how the drums, bass and guitar melted.
