Can't beat good ol' creamed corn. Besides, he was trying to make it special.

Yay, the Igor Debate is back!
Yeah, maybe, but I'm sure they could have had creamed corn anytime.

I remeber my dad telling once. "The military and schools get the best food. Then the cooks get ahold of it....."
Personally I'm partial to all corn. I wouldn't have cared to much (Ignore my name)

Yeah, but you're still overlooking the fact that the Padre was dreaming of corn on the cob about 2 weeks before the 4th of July party.

Nobody told Igor that I bet. I bet he thought that his creamed corn was way better than having to bite it off of a cob.

I could go either way, myself. If I saw it creamed, I would have said, "Great! I'll have a bowl! I thought it was going to be on a cob, but whatever."

no matter what anyone says ... i still have to put igor in the corner for what he did to the corn. knowing how the entire unit was being fed food that could be kept without spoiling, they probably had creamed corn quite often ... so for igor to cream the FRESH corn ... cry it's just awful ...

TheLostOne42 I felt so sorry for the padre, he was looking forward to the corn on the cob so much I did too, but at the same time I wanted to hug Igor just because he allowed us to see Padre rather frustrated with anger. It was so adorable!
