::after leaving Bren, she goes back out to the horse and unties him:: okay, fella... where do you live, huh? ::asked as she starts walking, letting the horse choose where to go. after all, didn't horses try to go to their stables first?::

Unfortunatly, this horse has no sense of direction. His packs are full, however. There may be an address in them somewhere.

Amid a bunch of expensive looking clothing and food, is a wallet. Inside the wallet is Ashley's ID. It's then that she notices one of the stirrups is broken

::she goes through all this quickly, not really noticing anything, then sees the sturrips. looking more closely at the id, she recognizes the annoying prep from before and swears softly. the park.... she studies the horse a moment then climbs up onto his back and kicks him into motion toward the park. she had taken horseback riding lessons when she was younger and had picked it up amazingly quickly, only to drop it when she almost set the barn on fire by accident::

The storm is starting to wind down, the thunder farther off in the distance. The farther away the storm gets, the calmer the horse gets, and seems to regain some sense of direction. He takes her the route he came from, through the woods. At a place where the path closely touches the ravine, there are deep gouge marks and broken underbrush.

Way down at the bottom, she can see what looks like a pile of old clothing. Ashley has long since run out of energy, and is now just clinging to a tree to keep from sliding down into the river

There are lots of roots to grab onto, making it a pretty easy climb down, except for the slipperiness of the mud. Ashley looks up, her voice is coarse from calling for help. "Hello?"

good, you're still alive ::brickly, as she grabs hold of the roots and use them to ease her down. the slipperyness was bad... she realized it would make it harder to climb back up. not for the first time in her life, she wished that she could use her fire when she WASN'T mad. maybe she could of dried the mud a little... probably not, but she'd never know:: keep talking
