well... If you ask me, I think that Bella was a little mean to Jacob, I mean, he was really nice to her, and did his best to protect her, but she went off to be with the vampires, and went back on the prmise that she made to him about staying friends, after all she went through to make sure that HE kept it biggrin

Personally, I find Jacob annoying.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm not very fond of him.
I want to like him. But I don't. He's stealing Isabella from Edward! T-T
Yes, he IS a great friend. And Bella was very lucky to have him, during the time Edward had left her.
But I think that it was TOO much time.
That was what most of the book was about.
And of course, Bella needed alot of time to forget about Edward and move on..
BUT I HATED THAT.
To answer your question; Yes, Jacob is starting to tick me off.
Bella has given him the wrong idea. He's in love with her. {Heh, no duh.}
But I'm scared that the poor guy might get hurt.
Or even worse, steal Bella from gorgeous Edward.
I love Edward!!

I think Jacob needs a life, i mean he needs to get over Bella, shes takin!
I really hope that she doesnt chose him over edard in eclpise/other sequels
so yeah, jacobs ticking me off too

I just hope he's smarter in the next book.
I get terrified with Werewolf characters like him.
They can easily become the least favorite character...of course...
That just means true Jacob fans ban together.

Personally, I'm a big Jacob fangirl and am completely by his side in this debate. Now, I can see why people would be angry with him after what he did in New Moon. But it's not entirely his fault. All I can say is, I know there are lots of people who hate Jacob because he tried to split up Edward and Bella. But you have to acknowledge the fact that when Bella started hanging out with him and spending most of her time with him, Edward had been out of the picture for over 3 months. He had left Bella with little to no warning and no one had heard from him or any of the Cullens since. So when Bella started showing an interest in Jacob, Jacob probably thought she was over Edward and that he had a chance. And it's not as if Bella made it perfectly clear that she didn't think of him as any more than a friend. She let Jacob put his arm around her, touch her hair, call her "honey" and she even hugs him. And she knew that she was probably giving Jacob the wrong idea, but it Jacob made her feel better and kept her busy, so she didn't set him straight, which was selfish. And then when Edward finally comes back in the end, she runs to him with open arms as if nothing had ever happened. She lead Jacob on, only to ditch him for Edward in the end. That must have hurt a lot. Poor Jakey. heart So please, don't judge Jacob Black too harshly.

I love Jacob at some moments and other times I absolutely hate him. I mean, he did help Bella when she needed it. Without him, she would have probably went to live with her mom.
But at the end of New Moon...It kind of threw me off. So now I'm in between. -sigh-
But, after all, it isn't his fault he's in love with her. And she did encourage him a little...

I really liked Jacob at first.
In New Moon he made me angry, but only starting in about the middle.
Then at the end he pissed me off like nothing ever before.
Stupid Jacob.

Hes the cute innocent character in the story shunned by his father. Every story needs one! Anyway, hes not powerful enough to do harm. Edward will get him heart

You see, I've always admired Jacob, even during the first book. The reason? Because Bella liked him too. ^^ He was a friend to her when she had no one. Plus, I can totally see his side of everything - even with the epilogue at the end of "New Moon". He's had to deal with so much: his love for Bella and him becoming a werewolf. Plus, I truly admired Edward for going and thanking Jacob for what he did for Bella when Edward was away. Now that ladies and gentlemen was very noble. I'm hoping that in "Eclipse" everyone will get along and be friends, although its probably a stretch. ^^ Don't get me wrong though - I love Edward and believe that Edward and Bella were made for each other. But I also love Jacob (not as much as Edward) and believe he deserves a little sympathy from us readers. Stephenie loves him too and I'm hoping everyone will eventually understand Jacob's life from what she writes!

Well, I DID really really really hate Jacob, through out Twilight and New Moon. Not hate exactly, dislike ^^;. He just annoyed the hell out of me..I understand that he was there for her when she needed someone the most but I don't know...I just never liked him.
Now though I'm not so sure xD My friend who is a Jacob (as well as Edward) supporter and I hate to say this but her ramblings of Jacob are really starting to get to me gonk And I'm in the middle of re-reading New Moon and I can't help but see him through her eyes...I'm starting to see all his good points xD
So yeah I really don't know anymore... sweatdrop
