Tori had a smug look on her face as she raced along with Kainen. oh she figured Kainen might get her back for her nuzzles but had to wonder how he would retaliate to it. glancing back it was apparent Kainen was gaining on her and she smirked. pushing her legs faster it wouldn't be long til they got to the patch so she would have to keep ahead for the whole run and also hope that last nuzzle slowed him.

Kainen had definately been taken aback by the nuzzle but he was gaining, pressing himself at full speed trying to catch up to her, and he was a pretty fleet-footed Soquili when he wanted to be. He was usually just too lazy or too busy wreaking havoc to worry about it.

Tori wore a almost perminate grin on her face as she raced along. she always did love a good run and pretty much had alot of energy in her. it seems Kaine could be said to be the opposite of Tori but they say oppossits do attract one another. they finaly broke through the trees and she skidded to a hault, not really carign who won the little race but jsut enjoyed thefuna dn time with kainen glancign at Kaine she wondered what he might do now that they where in the patch finaly.

Kainen was neck and neck with her when she skidded to a stop, taking him by surprise. He went further into the clearing before he stopped, watching her sidelong, before deciding to totally ignore what she'd done and eat berries like was his original plan.

Tori wrinkled her nose as he just ignored her and went on his way to eat berries. snorting he went over to him and nipped his rump before quickly movign away before she got a kick to the face. " so your gonna try ignoring me? and here i thought you would try and get pay back for me nuzzling you twice and almost beating you here." smirkign at him, she waited to see what kind of retaliation she would get.

His foot did indeed kick back when she nipped him, he turned his head to glare at her. "The only reason you beat me is because you had a head start... the other..." He shrugged and went back to the berries not sure what to think about that part.

Tori just snickered at him and went over to him again. this time though just to mess with him she nuzzled his neck and bounded away from him before she might bitten. " i think you might like my company and nuzzles more than you show." grinning she actualy hoped he really did as she wouldn't admite to him anythign if he didnt actualy like her.

He bared his teeth at her a bit, ears tilted backward, but her only worded response was 'Heh." He flicked his tail like he was annoyed, continuing to eat berries.

Tori mearly raised a brow then pouted at him. she couldn't tell if he was acting or realy annoyed with her for real and hated her. frowning, she shook her braid mane and laid where she was standing which wasn't far from him. watchign him, she pondered over his little reaction which wasn't much of one.

Kainen pretented to ignore her, since it just wasnt in his nature to admit anything of that nature. By keeping silent he was in a way admitting it... if he didnt like her, he would have said so.

Tori was a cunning mare and as she pondered things over, she wondered if he liked or hated her by his reaction. indeed he had said nothing, which made her wonder more. as she thought about it she figured if he really hated ehr he would have just said so and wouldn't allow her even near him as much as she had been. grinning at the thought, he only let it come to ehr face for a moment before geting up and having a serious face. walking over to him, she had to know what he thought. nudging his shoulder softly, she got the courage to ask. " Kainen can i ask you something?"

Kainen glanced to her sidelong, wondering if it was safe to answer any of her questions at the rate things were going at the moment. Afeter a little more hesitation, he shruged. "If you want."

Tori tilted her head a bit as he hesitated to respond to her while glancing at him. hesitating a bit herself, she finaly spoke. "do you like me or hate me? if you hate me and want me to leave you alone i can." lookign away, she continued. " i just wanna know cause...... i do like you and enjoy hanging out with you. but if you think of me as just an annoyance i rather know so i can just leave you alone if thats what you want Kainen." taking a glance at kainen she wondered what his responce would be.

Kainen froze, that was not what he'd expected to here. This was delicate ground... very delicate ground. If he said he liked her then she would think she had the upper hand, but if he said he hated her, she would leave... he didnt want her to leave but he didnt want to appear weak in any way either. After a moment he realized he'd been silent an awefully long time. "Well... um... I..." Oh this was great, now he was stuttering... this couldnt get any worse.

Tori stayed silent as she waited those long minutes for him to speak. when he finaly started to speak, she wondered what was going on in his mind as it seemed he wanted to say something but then didn't for whatever reason. looking him in the eyes, she decided to say one more thing. " Kainen you can tell me and i promise i wont make fun or anything. besides i just admited i really like you." she almost blushed and glanced away a moment so she wouldn't.
