(( And I also think it's night-time by the way. XD In the rp... So I can make sure everyone knows this. Amma has a low profile, so yeah everyone knows her name, who she is, and her status and what-not...but not everyone knows what she really looks like. *nods* Just so we set that straight...so people don't get confused or anything.))

Cherokee had been taking his time. He was in no hurry. It was a simple errand he had to run, something he didn't see much of now a days. Get the money, get in and then out again. No muss no fuss scenario, though Enzo had insisted that there might be trouble. Cherokee figured the junkie was being a little paranoid, what junkie wasn't? But had opted to smoke a cigarette just to take the edge off.
The job was just a kid, right? He didn't need to hurt him or anything, just get his money and leave him lie, he said to himself while his expressionless face examined his large hand that almost swallowed his cigerette. He wouldn't have hurt him anyway, and coughed up the money himself if he had to. He was never really all right with the idea of messing with kids. He exhaled a plume of smoke from his nostrils and stubbed out his cigerette on the dumpster beside.
He watched it spark and flicker out, and then looked up. It was getting late. The kid hadn't showed yet. A pile of cigerette butts and ashes cluttered around the dark man's feet. He glanced down either end of the alley expecting him almost to appear just by thinking of him, like summoning him with mere thought. There was only empty space and filth.
Cherokee reached into a jean's pocket and extracted a flip phone. He flicked it open and pressed a number that automatically dialed Enzo... who was probably chomping at the bit. He had a feeling this call would not help his edgy friend's situation much.
"He didn't show." Came his toneless voice as soon as he heard the clicking sound that was a cellphone being answered.
((hahaha, ALRIGHT! YAY!... And either Ala can... something... or J's character can... smething... TA DAh!... this post sucks!~))

((OMGS POSTIES!))
Enzo nearly jumped out of his skin when his cell rang. He pulled it from his pocket and flipped it open, not bothering to greet the person on the other line. That's what caller ID was for anyway. "He didn't show?" The pacing sped up. "Why didn't he show? YOu don't know why he didn't show. Ahhh," He muttered something under his breath, then spoke up again, "Cherokee, see if you can find him. If someone got to him first..." He trailed off, trying to avoid sticking the knuckle of his pointer finger in his mouth again. He'd created a bad habit of gnawing on it when he was nervous. More than once he'd drawn blood.
"We need to find him, you know. And it's not even about the money..." He took a deep, calming breath, once more shoving his hand into his pocket. "The boss ain't going to be happy about this either way... Hopefully that Amma didn't get to him. He'd mentioned her name once before, the kid did. Makes me wonder."
He paused for a moment, wondering if Cherokee had anything to say. However, he didn't really leave much room for a reply, and instead finished off his thought, "I should go down there. Meet you there. The kid was good for the money, I know he was." And that wasn't just speculation, "So something's not quite right."
Finally, he stopped muttering into the phone to listen to what Cherokee had to say. After all, it was getting dark, and when dark came, it was good to be with someone. Safety in numbers, right?
((Haha whee...))

((Yay!))
Amma took another long drag, boredom eating her insides away bit by bit and spitting them out peice by peice. She'd rather be with a bunch of horny guys in of the whore houses than be by herself, alone, to wallow in all her self misery, thoughts, and otherwordly wonders. The heck with all that stuff. Who needed it?
Another long drag of her stick of cancer and she spoke to herself. "Whatever, only 100 bucks, I've got more coming. Darius'll think of someway to get the b*****d back anyways. Running around like some wild man and spending every single penny on beer or whores." She kicked at an empty Coke can, the aluminum tinkering down the street.
"The hell with all of 'em. Really. Seriously."
"I'm talking with myself." And she stopped played with the lit cigerette, flicking it around in her hands and letting the ash fall on her red pumas. She pulled down her fitting white tank top and then pulled up on her baggy jeans. She blew her white and red bangs from her face, took yet another drag, another, and another until there was but a stub of ash at her fingers and she threw it on the ground.
"I think I need a shower. Don't I? Might as well go home then...since it's monday. Nothing happens on Monday. And Darius can take care of it."
"DAMN IT! I'M TALKING TO MYSELF AGAIN!" She hissed, stomped a foot, looked up, and quirked a brow.
"Wow, tall aren'tya handsome?" She smiled to the tall man, maybe an inch or so taller than her own Darius was. And she knew the guy from somewhere. She knew he wasn't a Sting just right away. But she cared so much that she didn't at all. And that wasn't much.

((EDITED!!!!))
Cherokee waited quietly as Enzo went on. He was used to this. He had been working with Enzo for awhile, one of the few people he could stand to be around, and if he knew anything it was good just to wait out the guy's thought process just to get his head together. He smiled on the other side of the line, and leaned back agaisnt the alley's filthy wall. There were a few reasons Cherokee could name why he liked the guy, but mostly it was the fact he didn't expect him to say anything more than he needed, Enzo filled in the rest.
When he finished Cherokee spoke in that same toneless voice. "Do what you want. I probably won't need you. The kid didn't show and I don't know where to look." He eyed the ends of the alley once more, his light eyes sharp. "If it was Amma, she's hard to find. Always changing positions, never does a job in the same place twice, and no one really knows what she looks like... We know the big guy, but the big guy isn't who you need to worry about. I don't know what you expext me to do." He was quiet a moment, a silence that probably drove Enzo into a twitching fit.
"It was just a kid. We have bigger deals to worry over." He finished reasonably. He exhaled evenly. "But if you're worried, listen. We can do some sniffing around. How's that sound? You know some people, right?" Somehow Cherokee's voice was calm and reassuring, althought it remained as toneless as it usually was. The idea though simple seemed to be the answer. "The boss can't skin us if we tried."
He was silent again and then: "Come meet me at McCaffey's at if you want. I'll wait for you there." And he pressed the end button to finish the call, but fumbled as he slid the phone into his pocket as he heard a voice. A female voice that remarked on the usual obvious things about Cherokee's appearence.
He spared her a look and finished slipping his phone away. He knew quite quickly that she was from the rival gang by the coloration on her hair, but didn't feel threatened because she didn't seem to be in the mood to be hostile. He found this strange and glanced at her a second time.
"I get that a lot." he said blandly, glancing at her up and down. He noted immediately the strange colour of her eyes, but said nothing of her appearence in return. He strode up to her and looked down.
"You're blocking the way out." he remarked.

Amma chuckled when the man fumbled with the phone at her voice. Ah, the affects she had on people. Some positive some negative. She smiled towards him.
"I'd imagine." She said calmly and blew at her bangs again before looking up at him and he walked up to her and mentioned a blockage. She blinked like she was confused, grinned and looked back up to his face again...a good foot above her. "Awww, you're so straight foward. Sometimes that sexy in a man. Sometimes its not. Careful now." She said with pure playfulness and took a step away from him.
"You look a bit troubled..." She began, sticking her nose where it DID belong. "Break up with a girlfriend or something? That ALWAYS sucks. My friends get all angry when they break up. Beat some one up because of it for no good reason. Kinda stupid if you ask me. I mean...beat something ELSE up, something not living. They didn't do anything to you." She sighed pathetically and itched at the scabbed scratch on her cheek again out of habit. Like a little boy.
"Mmmmnnn...I hate scabs." She said mostly to herself. "Alright than sugar. Good luck with whatever is going on in your life. Hope you get the best out of it."

((HOMG POSTIE! AGAIN!))
Enzo frowned when Cherokee started speaking. He knew the big guy was right, but still... A job not done? That wasn't good. He was supposed to be in charge of things, and now they weren't happening right... "Calm down," He said into the phone, though was speaking to himself. "The big guy wasn't seen anywhere around there..."
He waited for a moment, then another, and about five moments later, Cherokee spoke up again. He mentioned that they couldn't be punished if they TRIED... And try Enzo would. "Yeah, alright... I'll make a few calls... See if anyone else spotted the kid, or the big guy... What was his name? Oh yeah, Darius. He's pretty hard to miss." The young man took a deep breath, and finally Cherokee finished talking.
"McCaffey's. Sure." And the distinct 'click' of the line being disconnected sounded in his ear. With shaking hands he slid the phone back into his pocket and started down the street, dark eyes scanning every nook and cranny of the road. It wasn't that he was paranoid, oh no, he was just being cautious.
A number of phone calls later, he arrived at the bar, looking far less twitchy than he had before. While nothing he'd heard via his contacts was anything to be pleased about, the simple fact that he couldn't be seen as anything but normal drove away his antsy nature. So, flipping out a fake I.D. (he'd be of drinking age soon enough anyway), he ordered something light and sat at the bar, eyeing the door, waiting for Cherokee to show up.

((OMG OMG OMG OMG HERE I GOOOOOO! *howls*))
Cherokee said nothing of her remark about being 'straight forward' being desireable qaulity in a male. He actually couldn't think of anything to say to that. If his face were capable of it at the time he would have forwned and quirked his brow in good natured puzzlement. Though, thankfully she stepped back and cleared the way and spared him doing anything at all, which was all well and good because he was having a bit of an issue. He wasn't quite sure what he would have done otherwise.
Though, then the woman started up again. This time he did frown. He wasn't sure if it was because she was being a little nosey, or the fact she sounded a lot like she was making fun of him. But then he found the corner's of his mouth twtched. It wasn't something that happened often, and not too many people knew exactly what the corner's of his mouth twitching meant, but those who did knew that was how he laughed.
"That is stupid. You should tell them that." He remarked, in an oddly joking tone, though no one would have known his joking tone to be any different from his normal voice.
The woman then remarked her hate of scabs and Cherokee's eyes drifted over said scab for a moment before returning to her mismatched eyes. "Scabs blow." He agreed, and then frowned as she seemed to dismiss herself.
He didn't even remember why he might have still been standing there. He should have gone already. Enzo got wound up if he waited too long, and besides the woman before him was from the rival gang, what was he still standing here for? He was letting himself get distracted, but what was worse was what he said next.
"Hey listen. Where you going? I'm going out for a drink with a friend." His light eyes never shifted from her face, but they reflected his puzzlement with himself. "Wanna come?"
That sounded strangely like he was asking her out.
"Not like a date."
That made it sound worse.
"Just for a drink."
That was little better... only not really. She was from the RIVAL GANG, and he was making small chat like some sorta completely total idiot. Enzo would shoot him through the head for being so stupid screaming: There a BRAIN in there, Cheif Sitting Bullshit!? ((SORRY FOR THE WORD! BUT IT WAS SOO FUNNNNNYYYY!!!... forgive me Ala for I love you.)) Well... maybe not Enzo... but someone.
"Forget it." He amended and turned on his heel to stride on his long legs down the street. "See ya."
((Hahahaha,Cherokee is kinda cute XD; but YEAH! she can still go... but I dun wanna have Ala all waiting and waiting and waiting.. and don't wanna ditch you... so yeah! SHE CAN STILL COME! Like follow after him... and... you're a smart kid you'll figure it out XD *shuts up*))
It wasn't too much later, after a few mental verbal abusings about being a total b*****d and a few cigarettes, that Cherokee made his appearance at the bar he set for the meeting place. He had to stoop through the door to enter, Enzo would know he was there right away.
He was sort of a hard guy to miss.

Amma looked at the tall man, smiling at how he spoke up. She was good listener, you had to be to be a leader of a gang. Members had a good deal of experience in hiding fear, hate, love, and more, she knew them all, she did it herself. For some odd reason she too felt laughter when he spoke and she shrugged.
"I do." She let go of her cheek and starred at him in puzzlement at his next question. She had never been asked out before, well to this guy just for a drink, except from Darius, who was simply her best friend in the world. Her smile grew, she knew this was going to end in some sort of trouble, but why the hell not?
She looked to the wall when he began walking off. She had nothing better to do...and she missed being out and not worrying about stuff...in general. When she saw him down the street she gasped and ran towards him.
"Hey! You're not supposed to leave a woman alone ya know? That's bad manners, punk." She waved a fist in humor and tried to catch up. She only caught up right when he entered the bar. She rolled her eyes and looked around, grabbed a skull cap from her pant's pocket and it put it on, covering up her red and white bangs. It was some sort of saftey net.
With a grin, she too opened the door and stood beind the man, he blocked her entirely. Well...she was used to it.
"Jeez, dog, you walk too fast." She sighed heavily and peered out behind him, as though a child with her mother. "Where's this cute friend of your's?"

((Hahaha I MISSED RPING SO MUCH!!! *Shakes you ALL*
And, hahahaha, yes, he's kinda adorable. XD And funny... Hahahah Sitting Bull**** XDDD))
Well, cute wasn't necessarily the word for it. Despite Enzo having managed to gain control over most of himself, he still looked, well, not quite healthy. The place around his eyes was fairly dark, and beneath his natural tan, he looked rather pale. One hand was clutching the glass of alcohol he'd ordered so tightly his knuckles had turned white, and he looked stretched rather thin. Overly stressed... But what college aged kid didn't?
He looked quite relieved when Cherokee walked in through the door, and his grip loosened, and he all but slumped forward. That was probably because he hadn't seen Amma yet. "There you are..." He paused, looking over Cherokee's stone face. "What's that look you've got? What are you hiding? Nothing bad, I hope... No, I don't think you would. But really now, what is it?" The man couldn't see Amma behind Cherokee's bulky frame.
"In any case," he proceeded cautiously, "I'm afraid we couldn't find him. And no one saw the other big dog either." He figured his friend would know what he was talking about. "Either that pack's getting more cunning, or animal control isn't doing its job." He quickly, too quickly, finished off his drink and set the glass on the counter witha heavy 'clunk.'
"Did you want something? I got it taken care of tonight." He waved a hand at the bar tender, then scratched at his temple. Yeah, as much as he hated to admit it, Enzo was probably going to have to give in that night and shoot up. If even just a little bit to calm him down. "Keh," He muttered something under his breath and sighed. It had not proven to be a good night. Maybe after a drink or two, he and Cherokee could search the boy out.
"...Who is that?" When Cherokee sat down, he'd spotted Amma. "Uh, hi." He added to her, giving a twitch of a wave. "Sit down, you can have a drink too."

((hehehe, YAY! READY GO!))
Cherokee half glanced over his shoulder at the young woman behind him, and opened his mouth to say something, but Enzo was already on him. Well, this might be a bad situation, he thought to himself, expression unchanging, but feeling somehow much warmer beneath his jacket. Though, he was quick to notice the girl had stuck on a hat to cover her hair. His mouth twitched at a corner. She wasn't stupid, he could relax.
"Nothing." He responded quickly to his question of what he might have been hiding and just listened as his friend spoke, his eyes fixed on him evenly. He was glad Enzo chose to speak in lingo; it was just vague enough to work. The woman didn't seem likely to stir anything up, but what could he know? This was a stupid and risky situation he had stuck himself in. What had he been thinking when those words tumbled out of his big stupid mouth?
"That's too bad." Cherokee responded when Enzo had finished. "But I figured... it's a big city, and there are lots of dogs." He finished.
He then took up a stool at Enzo's offer, and ordered a mug of something for himself. He gave a funny little twitch as Enzo mentioned Amma, however. He ran his tongue over his lips and settled his lean shoulders in what he hoped to play off as a nonchalant gesture.
"Dunno. A chick. Met her on the job." He jerked his head at her to serve as her introduction. "Never caught her name."

Amma heard the dog comment and something inside her fired up, but she just tried to ignore it. She was off the job tonight, she wasn't controlling, standing up for, or mentioning Sting tonight. She wanted to have fun, something she forgotten how to do. When Enzo mentioned her she winked and waved girlishly at him, though her outfit, hat, and scratches looked anything but, the only thing girly was her body and face.
She trotted over next to her new friend for the night, sat down on another stool and looked towards the bar tender and grinned politely. "Ah hey again buddy." She laughed and the bar tender seemed to get the picture, he smiled back. "I'll have what the big guy's having." The tender nodded and went off to get the two of them the drink.
"Ah...er." She looked to the ceiling for a minute and laughed. "I go by Lola." She said, glad she got something out and leaned foward to look at the two. "How about you guys? We can't go around calling eachother, hey you, big guy, and sick guy." The bartender came and put the drinks before them.
"Thanks hot stuff." Amma winked and sniffed at the drink.

((Haha, what about the Pack? Like, a group of wolves... Yeah... SOmething. *shrugssssss* It'd work with Cherokee's tattoos. XD))
"Too many dogs..." Enzo murmured, eyeing Amma strangely. He remained silent for a moment (something quite unusual for him) before shrugging himself. There were other things on his mind.
Then again, it wasn't every day the big giant native american man brought around a girl. "Lola, eh?" He gave a bit of a nod, "I'm not sick," he added defensively, "Just... A bit high strung tonight. Call me Lorenzo." He held out a hand for her to shake.
Introductions out of the way, Enzo seemed to finally let loose a bit, and looked far more relaxed. Maybe it was the alcohol finally working its way into his system, or maybe he finally decided to let the whole incident go... But either way, it was what it was. "So, are we up for a bit of a walk around town then?" He asked lightly, giving his arm a bit of a scratch. The long sleeves of the white shirt he was wearing were a bit itchy.
He gave Cherokee a bit of a look; a short look, but it said a lot. Yeah, he might have been willing to have a bit of fun, but he wasnt' about to completely ignore the fact a kid was missing. If he turned up dead, he was quite sure his gang would be the one to blame for it... ESPECIALLY if the boy was found on their turf. Ahh, such things were such a bother.
((haha ahh, not much to go on. Sorry loves!))

((HOMG POST AFORE I GO TO BED!))
"People just call me Cherokee." Cherokee said simply of his name after Enzo introduced himself. He did not bother to give explanation or otherwise. He never did give people his real name, nor did it seem, this woman either. It was apparent to him that no one had to think to speak their name unless they didn't wish to speak it.
He thought little of it. It was wise thing to do. Too much information to the wrong people got you into a mess of trouble and it wasn't his business about what kind of mess she was trying to keep out of.
Cherokee took his mug of alcohol into his large hand and emptied a good portion of the glass with a single swallow. He looked to Enzo in that blank way, and nodded his head once.
"I just sat down." He said. "You want to go now?" There was no change in tone or obvious empahsis to his words, but somehow the phrase came out jokingly. His mouth twitched.
His light eyes looked over to Lola for a moment wondering just what she'd think of that. On one hand it was a good way to probably get out of this fix he'd stupidly gotten himself into. He was still wondering just what had come over him, but on the other... what did he care, right? It was just a chick.
"She coming?" His mouth said without his consent. He scowled. This was getting a little pathetic.
"I mean..." He started again, coughed, and muttered the rest of what he said into his drink.
((Hahaha, poor Cherokee has NO CONTROL OVER HIS MOUTH!))
