Keeping My End of The Promise
[ Horses: Tallulah Kaimi / Dante ]
[ Rest is Here! ]

[ Status - In Progress. ]

Quote:
Metal on glass, it was a sound that hadn't made it to the strange clearing in many moons. Infact it, and the creature that made it, had not been to this particular place for awhile, now that she thought about it. But, here she had find her hooves taking her, and here she followed them until her eyes graced the both soothing and aggrivating area.

At first she did this weekly, a easily impressionable filly, full of vim and vinegar, living on the fires of hope, maybe her friedn was here today, no, but how about next Tuesday~? This went on for a few months, but then she had grown up a little more and started to stray, mentally and physically. Weeks turned into months before she came back, and now months were starting to stretch. But she still came back to the little nook that she had met her first friends ever, the little strange colt brothers; Dante and Ezriel. Dante had shown his face first, and it was an unvoiced pack she had made between them to meet once again.

As she made her way closer to that spot she would wait in, once again, her eyes graced the area once over, frowning a bit before stopping short and turning to look out on the clearing that she had cursed and dispised so long ago.

Somedays she wondered what she was waiting for, but it was always nice to just come back, she supposed.

"I'm not staying long, this time, I think."
She called out to nothing, it had made good friends with her and kept her company, without noticing it, somedays.

Quote:
Dante had his own issues, his own depressions. It must have been fate that would bring the two adults together, for he had been at their spot for awhile, quietly thinking to himself for hours. Where else could he escape to? He was strange at the moment, with many feelings and anxieties creeping through his brain. He had just fought with a companion, and his mind was exhausted. It had been hard enough dealing with another friend of his, with whom he now questioned their relationship. Everything was hard when he thought about it, and he really hated himself for ever trying to 'do life'. He was just glad he didn't drop his morals completely in front of the mare, and become a different stallion overall.

Why should he put trust in others? Was there a reason? He had been alive for quite some time, and he still hadn't found the answer. Did that deem him an idiot? Or did that mean that he would always be out casted..just like before.. just like always..

His thoughts were quickly interrupted by a sound, but it was one that was vaguely familiar. How did he know that sound? It was a mare's voice, and it was a voice that rang bells from his past. How could the mare behind him know this spot? Could it be...?

"Why not stay awhile, you might be surprised at what you could find." Yes.. it was Tal, wasn't it? Tal.. the childhood friend of his, from ages ago. It really had been too long, and for a moment, Dante felt refreshed knowing that someone so familiar to him had stopped by. And with that, the stallion moved himself out of the shadows, and finally saw a familiar but grown up version of his friend. "Its been too long, Talullah."

We're World-Class Travellers, Hunh.
[ Horses: Jack-B-Nimble / Tallulah Kaimi ]

Quote:
It was as if the heavens had opened themselves up for the youthful mare, the ground spilling over with miniscule rivers raging through the highgrasses, ants and smaller life forms trying to break the currents and get to slighty less dampened lands, before the tapering rains took them with the storm's casualities. The creature known as fate had played a roll in this day, although the mare had been unaware, due to her denouncing such an existance. She believed everything happened for the amusement of other creatures beyond her, but she had her rights and voice. It was by the skin of her teeth that she found a reliable shelter for the time being as the storm did it's damage, her pelt staying clean and dry, as her six eyes watched the lightning and her hooves felt the thunder nearly engulf the cave.

The way it had been eroded made it reflect the sound even louder, so she had been entirely unsure as to how exactly boisterous it had been, she only knew that it was near deafening. Of course, as a filly she had been taught that a storm speaks to the very soul of every creature, and was fully aware that even the god-like Soquili would bow to it, or fear being drown. She was never a creature to shirk away from even the greatest of creature's defiance, having a large sense of Justice, and an even larger sense of blind bravery, so since her youth, she found herself hiding away, else she would start challenging the gods of the clouded skies. Even she knew that would have been stupid, but it was that kind of feeling that made her feel... alive. Truly her father believed that it was youthful ideas flittering through her mind, but as she grew older, it just grew in tenfolds.

Maybe all those close calls in her short, and yet exciting life had started going to her head, a flowering ego was definitally not something she needed.

But it felt good.

Feeling the cool air flow into the little haven she had found, it signified the end of the raging storm, and with a shake of her head, and the sound of her little knick knacks making the cave light up with music, sne stepped out into the slowly filtered daylight, the view of the area around her splendid and revitalizing. It had been one of those storms that, whilst it was around, you knew it had been there, you could have heard it even if you had been deaf. But whence it left, it barely left a scratch on the horizon infront of you, with the exception of twinkling lights dancing everywhere, the rainwater reflecting the sun in the most wonderful way.

It truly had become a good day, she mused, as she looked around to where she would go next.

Quote:
Not too far from where the now grown up mare had emerged from her rest within the small makeshift cave, an eerie glow started to creep through the grasses, as cloven hooves softly carved a way through the foliage, the sound of glass and metal ringing through the clearing with the volumn of a sweet-sounding song, every step a different tune as the slightly rain kissed stallion made his way through, as if fates had commanded him to.

Unlike his somewhat essentric daughter, the old Stallion had never believed any different when it came to fates, he blessed each and every one of them everyday, and cursed them on some rare occasions, but they were basis for his every gay graces. It only took him a moment before his sensitive hearing caught the sounds of everything around him in this new little clearing, and, to filter out his own music, and the music of everything else, the old stallion came to a halt, effectively stopping the music that his hooves created, and with a jagged frown - one that did not hold any momentus emotion in it - before he closed his eyes, and his ears shot forward, listening intently for anything he could hear, that was not nature made.

Behind me.

It had only taken a few moments for him to pinpoint the odd sound in the area, and almost hurriedly, he turned himself around to confront whatever was making the sound - glass on metal. It was familiar, and slightly on a different key than his own music he made. It was a larger cast of metal, with smaller glass. Talullah. It had to be his only adventurous daughter, he concluded, as he waited at his spot for the sound to continue, to bring her ever closer to his little nook. Meeting his daughter was always a blessing; it meant he and she would have time to converse idly while they were still on the same path, before they split off again.

Flames and Mercy
[ Horses: Xerros / Shecil Daemon / Basket ]
[ Rest is Here! ]

[ Status - In Progress. ]

Quote:
Flashfire filled the clearing for what felt like an instant in time, flames licking at the bark of close trees and the grass that inhabited a once empty location, but making barely a burn on the surrounding, a magical fire that only harmed when it's owner meant for it to. From within the blaze, a form melded out, with one mighty hoof after another, the fires that plagued the forest momentarily forming once more as each stamped it's position into the ground, with every hoof fall the sound of quickly depleating water came from with in, and a dark patch replaced the once lush ground that had the misfortune of holding this plague's weight.

As the forest finally returned to it's normal state, the Stallion took his first look of the area he had finally made his way to, flame licked eyes flicking back and forth as his muzzle kept occupied with a new life, nestled within a basket which looked nothing like the creature that held it. With a soft snort and a raise of nearly invisible eyebrows, he turned his head and made his way from his landing spot in the forest - this was no place to stay, especially if he were caught by any of the adventurous kind - he would not have any interruptions now. Especially when he had to make sure that this new 'bundle of joy' was still intact and in one piece, it was a bumpy ride from where they had been, to where they were now, and the Stallion had never found foals to be the kind of creatures to endure any sudden movement.

Weak little creatures, they sickened him.

With a rumble deep in his throat that recalled memories of a heavy and threatening flame to any that may have heard it, he turned his head quickly and started down a new path, the smell of smoke and boiled water returning to the muzzle of the brute. It had rained recently, which never made it easy on him - for he was a creature of fire, one who could have been called 'prissy' due to issues that crawled up on him when he was faced with anything that had to do with wet situations. Oh how he hated dousing his fires, it only made him weakened, and he was a proud and strong Stallion, it would not do.

Shaking his head and giving a snort, the one simply known as a Terror turned to his direction again, keeping half a mind on the bindings of the basket that he hend in his mouth, he was almost to where he had to be.

Quote:
The smell had only taken moments to travel through the forest a thick and strong scent that took over the natural forest smells, making everything feel sluggish and as if time had nearly stopped it's self short to find what was amiss. With a nose in the air, a specific body had caught the scent, something he had been familiarized from his youth, the smell of devoured wood, fire licked plants and the decay of life at the hooves of a destructive force. Taking a few daring steps forward, the self-proclaimed priest watched with curiousity and delight of the chase - it was almost play for him by now, following the burns in the ground as he made his way - it was a shame that the creature he had been following was so careless about conceiling itself - it made it look smug and totally beyond care for consequences that could further come of it's actions.

He rather liked where this was going.

Lifting his head once more, the sweet sound of jingling overcame him for a moment as little taslemen that sat in his hair danced with the winds as he looked up the side of a mighty tree who had suffered the greatest fate of "wrong place, wrong time." Although, he mused to his lonesome, most trees suffered that fate, for most trees cannot pick up their roots and skiddadle out of the way. But he had seen it before, amusing as it were. As his bravery only fueled him forwards, the mystic's hooves took him closer to the slightly scorced lands, blue fur and white fabric dancing with the remaining coals and minor fires that played still from the foot falls.

"They are still warm, so whatever made these markings is still close." He spoke out, almost to whomever was around, but mainly to himself - his little familiar having gone off for the day to play on his own. Even a familiar needed to appease it's Gods. Leaving the fresh scar on the ground, he pushed further, hoping to confront the brute.
