I'll put time into learning how to use them when I have high speed access at home. When I'm on campus using the high speed I'm not really into learning new crap. I just download what I need and leave.
I'm looking into satilite internet though. I'm going to call BJ Penn's place to see if one of his guys can hook me up with a system.
Nice. I have cable. I barely live within my local city's limits, so I get the internet. The people down the road are screwed. xd
Cable and DSL end about a mile from where I live. The city will hook me up...for 30 grand...so screw them.
Jesus Christ. Selling your soul for DSL. Pretty soon free wireless will be everywhere. I can't wait.
...lol, free wireless will reach Hilo about 30 years after it hits everywhere else...hell, we don't even have city-wide coverage (mainly because Hilo/Kurtis Town ain't no city). The best wireless coverage we have is at Starbucks or the UHH Campus.
That's how it is in my town. I'm in the deep south, so everything's late here too. My high school's wireless is SO slow though. It's a pain.
