[OOC? Sure, if you want.]
"You're the best carpenter in the whole world, so I don't think I can make mine look just like yours, but I can still try!" Aiden's voice was sweet, and it was clear that he was making an attempt to 'butter up' the old man so that he could try the designs at one point or another. His grin grew larger as Kensukia said that Orion was complimenting him, and then he looked over at her a moment later when she asked him a question.
"I told her to come with us, but maybe she didn't...?" he suggested after a bit of thought. As a shadow began to grow larger in the door - the sign that someone was entering the shop - his gaze shifted to the door, and he said, "Maybe that's her now!"
It wasn't, though. Instead, it was a Draconian - a race Aiden didn't see all that often, so he couldn't help but stare, an expression that was both curious and, almost, awed on his face as he studied the newcomer.

((I'm game for it))
Obsidian, for that was the name of the seven foot tall Draconian grinned at the little one amongst them. "Hello there little one." He purred out, stepping towards him, his large clawed, dragon like feet thudded heavily on the ground as he moved closer. The brilliantly emerald tip of his tail moved around to rest around the child's waist as he moved closer to squat beside him with soft croons. He loved children, thought they were adorable and every bone in him just wanted to cradle the boy and protect him.
He still waited for the response from the man about his box, but just as he loved his rubies and diamonds, this little one was calling to his mind to protect, his tail gently tickling him slightly.

((Sure, I'm a go.)) Argo leapt up, startled to see the scaly man enter the tent. Being new here and still thinking in normal human respects, something big and scaly was prone to eat you. She rushed into save her new acquaintances, but found that a tentacle suddenly grew out of her side again and she tripped over it, falling headfirst into the tent. "Ow," she mumbled as the tentacle shrinked back. What was wrong with her?

((Yosh! I'll make it then. ^.^))
Orion grunted again and was about to respond to Aiden when Obsidian entered the hut and inquired after the box. He snorted. "Psh. That trinket? It took me less than a minute. Kensukia, kindly fetch this man's box from my cupboard." All this was said without looking up from his carving, or even missing a beat. A couple of flicks and the unicorn was placed with the other finished articles, although no doubt Orion would return to it over the next few days, intent on rectifying some invisible flaw. He was an absolute perfectionist.
Kensukia nodded and was about to go to the cupboard when Argo entered - or rather, fell into - the hut. "Argo! Are you all right?" Kensukia asked as she went over to the cupboard. She opened the doors and moved aside the blades in the drawer which folded out, then lifted up what was apparently a false bottom and took out the box underneath. As well as being a perfectionist Orion was utterly paranoid about his work, and so his cupboard contained miriads of hidden compartments and concealed doors.
"Here." She handed the box to Orion, who turned it over in his hands, made a minute correction to one of the carvings, and then nodded and held it out to the stranger. Kensukia regarded the Draconian with considerable interest. She'd seen them in their own native realm, although only from a distance, and she'd never seen one in the Forest realm before. What could one be doing here?

(( The OOC Thread is finished!! And I have realised that we are in dire need of native races for most of the realms.
Budgie_820, would you like Krakens to be natives of the Forest or Water realms? I've put them under both lists for now, but I figured it ought to be either one or the other, and since you're our resident Kraken... which would you prefer?
Puppa, the humans thing (you'll know what I'm talking about if you read the OOC thread) will affect you principally, so it's pretty much your call. Of course, I'd love everyone else's opinion as well.
abyssofthesoul - about Draconians, do you think it's illogical to have Dragons in one realm and Draconians in another? I'm not sure how closely linked the two races are, you see. I know that Dragons are traditionally guardians of a hoarde of treasure in old myths, but I put them in the fire realm because they breathe fire. Good idea/bad idea?))

((Water would make the most sense. 3nodding And don't worry, I'll wiki up some nice mythical beasties for the RP.)) Argo stumbled back to her feet. She stomped her feet, quite frustrated, "Agh, what's wrong with me. Why do these tentacly thingeys keep popping out of me?" She was clueless as to what she was. At least with the other non-humans, you could guess what they were.

Aiden was delighted to see the Draconian come his way and knelt down next to him, making soft noises that, strangely enough, sounded rather comforting, even if Aiden didn't need to be comforted. He studied the man even more as he said hello, though he didn't introduce himself just yet. "I'm Aiden, what's your name?" he asked with a grin after glancing down and watching the Draconian's tail surround him, noticing the bright color of it.
About then was when Argo showed up and Orion got Kensukia to bring the box that the Draconian was looking for to him. It was a pretty little box, and Aiden loved the designs on it as they came into view when the box itself was brought closer. "What's that for?" he had to ask, gazing at it curiously.

Obsidian paid his attention to the little one he knelt by, "Obsidian, like the stone. But you can call me Obi if you'd like." He tapped the youngester on the nose with a happy smile, human children were such adorable creatures.
When the girl fell over, Obsidian didn't even move to help, all he did was look thoughtful at the girl when she was curious about what kind of race she was. Out of all the realms Water was the most mysterious with its races just because most could hide in the water and never have to come out. "Well, most likely a main native to the water realm, tentacles and such are usually their sport..."
Though his thoughts ran short when the little one asked of his attention again, Aiden, he'd remember that name. "This," He held the box in his hands opening and closing it a bit, "is a treasure box. It doesn't have anything in it now, but soon it will be lined with gems and hold a valued treasure in it." He quickly got out one of his bags and counted out the money to hand it over to Orion. "Thank you for the work."

[No, I've just been busy with research papers and homework and stuff. Vacation's started, though, so *thumbs up*.]
Aiden beamed a smile up at the Draconian, trying out the name. "Nice to meet you, Obi," he said, the smile still in place, opting for the nickname rather than the actual. After all, the man had offered it.
His attention was drawn briefly to Argo once again as Obi made a comment about how she might belong to the water realm. It would certainly explain why she wasn't used to being here in the forest realm, but Aiden still felt that Kensukia had something going for her idea that Argo was also a Dreamer. He had to frown slightly as he thought about it, though, and then shook his head and returned his attention to the box, the purpose of which currently being explained to him. All these thoughts about Dreamers were making his head hurt.
While Aiden was still curious to know what treasure would go inside the box - after all, Obi said it was to be a treasure box - Obi had already stood up and handed over the money for the repairs to Orion. Besides, he wasn't all that sure it'd be polite to ask, seeing as the Draconian hadn't mentioned it in the first shot. It was still exciting to think about, though, and Aiden tried his hand at imagining all the different things that could go inside it.

((:XP: There's always one who's quick to pronounce a rp dead after a few days. At least give it a week!
And yep, I'm on holiday now too n_n Oh, and I did a bunch of posts and updating in the OOC thread.))
Orion held out a hand and accepted the money without looking, his attention focused on an uncut block of wood that he had taken from a pile next to the finished animals. Kensukia smiled, wondering what kind of animal it would be. Already in the pile with the unicorn were some ordinary creatures like a mouse, a fish, a grass snake and a wolf, as well as a faerie and a lake sprite. Each creature was roughly the size of Kensukia's hand, though she knew that if Orion wanted to, he could carve creatures the size of her nail that had the same amount of detail. Orion harboured a secret soft spot for a surprising number of people, but particularly Caralyn, who already owned a wooden boat and a little wooden chair carved with hearts and flowers that would last her for some years.
Kensukia fingered her bow thoughtfully. She wanted to visit Yamika and retrieve her potions, knowing that Orion disliked having company for too long. She wondered about the new people she'd met today; would they follow her and Aiden around? The Draconian seemed to have become attached to Aiden, and it probably wouldn't be wise for Argo to go anywhere alone until she knew her way around and perhaps had a weapon. She was just wondering how to suggest that they leave when Orion solved the problem for her.
"Go on then, get out of here," he said, raising his head for the first time in a while. His voice and expression appeared angry, but Kensukia knew he wasn't really. "I need to concentrate! You, boy." He addressed Aiden. "You'll be lucky to get another lesson, but I want to see you back here tomorrow anyway. I might have a job for you." In other words, come back here tomorrow and you can help me, thought Kensukia. "Well, we'd better get going then," she said aloud. "I need to get my potions back from Yamika."

((Sorry I haven't posted. It just felt kinda weird for me to jump in since not much was going on.)) Argo left mumbling, "Somebody forgot to take their happy pills." She looked over at Kensukia and asked, "Yamika, who's that? So, is it okay if I stick around for awhile? Sorry about the whole boat...err tentacley thing."

[*thumbs up* I came up with Aiden's real name the other day.]
Aiden grinned as Orion told him to come back the next day. He knew that, while he wasn't saying it straight out, the older man wanted him to come back, which delighted the younger to no end. "Okay!" he said brightly, wondering already what kind of 'job' the carpenter would have for him.
On top of the fact that Orion had just told them all to leave, Kensukia had just added in that she would be going to see Yamika. Aiden didn't really have anything better to do, so he was about to call over that he wanted to come too, but he felt that he was already allowed to go, with the convienence of the comment.
That left one more thought in his mind. The boy then glanced up at the Draconian, who hadn't left yet. "Obi, are you gonna stick around?" he asked hopefully.

((It had been a week!!! Well.. 6 days!!! and I didn't pronounce it, I asked. XP And at least you guys are on holiday, I'm still in school for 2 more months))
"Hmmm?" Obi's attention was brought to the little one beside him, he had to admit he had spaced out there for a moment. "Oh, yeah, I had planned to stick around for longer, think I can accompany you?" He asked with a grin, finally daring enough to pick up the boy and place him on his shoulders, guiding little hands to his horns for him to hold onto. "Comfy? Now duck for a moment when we go out, don't want you to hit your head." He said before bending down himself so that they could go out of the carpenter's place.
He stopped once out and bounced Aiden a bit to readjust him waiting for the others to join them outside.

Aiden's "Awesome!" was cut off as Obi suddenly lifted him up into the air, and he soon found himself upon the shoulders of the Draconian, with his hands gripping the horns that they had been maneuvered to. With a giant grin, he glanced around the room from the higher point, then ducked just before leaving the building. "Bye, Orion! See you tomorrow!" he called just before they actually left.
"This is so cool!" he had to say after a moment, when they were standing outside, waiting for Kensukia and Argo to leave as well.
