"Any cool stories like Harry Potter or Gulliver's Travels. I didn't like the Lord of the Rings though, I spent nearly 3 weeks reading the first book!"
It was a good thing for Richard that all the time Cody had spent in the hospital waiting in line to get his injections gotten him to appreciate books more. It was a hell lot better than staring at the ceilling in total boredoom or having to look at those stupid, way outdated magazines they had there

Well Richard had read all of those except Harry Potter. "Ah fantastic stuff those are. The Lord of the Rings was one of my favorites when I was young." Not as young as Cody was but early twenties was plenty young to Richard.
"Well Lad, I should be getting going. I've got a newsletter to write." And some staff to lecture about the importance of education he added silently. Not to mention he was getting tired, almost time for his afternoon nap. He stifled the yawn that came with the thought.

"Newsletter?"
Cody half-remembered seing a newspaper like paper on the front of his duplex once, but he never passed his eyes over it. In his opinion newspapers were boring things only adults liked to read... well maybe except the comic page

"Yup. Hoping it will be monthly." He grinned when he saw confusing in Cody's eyes. "Have to spread the news somehow. Next issue is going to be really interesting." Although when he said interesting, he winced. He wasn't quite sure how to handle Jamal's gift yet.
"Well..." He rose, "I'd best be going. See you soon Cody." He ruffled Cody's hair as he turned to head out the door.

That explanation didn't actually clarified things, but his stomach was too empty for him to think straight
"See ya"
Cody waved and went back to his meal, only to remember some minutes later that he had forgotten to ask Richard's name again
