Richard reached down to turn the head of the corpse, grimacing as he did so. The man's half closed eyes seemed to be looking at him. Lifeless orbs seem to accuse the world in general. The neck damage to the neck was brutal, the throat was gone and the back of the neck looked like hamburger. Richard swore under his breath.
He stood the tentacles lashed with the frustration he felt. If he could get a neck to practice, find out how they were connected... No No NO. Don't think like that Richard, chip removal would only wind up like Billy or Jamal.
He looked back over the Newt. "It does appear that Jamal has gone to war with the labs. Assuming this was Jamal, I suppose. Might be the first of many." Richard sighed, "We should let the labs know. Or maybe just leave."

Miller scowled at Charlie, and stopped his aproach his feathers settleing down to a more orderly normal fashion. "What everz... just don't sayz stuff like that againz..." he turned to regard the body one last time. "I'm gona headz to my duplex and try to find somethingz to cover the body..."
With that the budgy boy turned and headed back towards the village, part of him wondering just how cloudy his judgment might be on this whole situation.

Why did he let people get away with talking to him like that? Oh well there wasn't much that could be said.
"And I suppose I'll go see if I can find someone to...'take care of things'," Huffily Charlie stood up and began to wander off back towards the village. Yet, at his rate, things would be taken care of by the time he managed to find someone.

It does not take too long after the discovery of the body by a group of islanders for the labs themselves to realize the presence of the body. So, eventually, a jeep rumbles its way into the village and pauses besides the mangled corpse of the guard.
The driver stays in the jeep while two anxious men in Feral Labs uniforms climb out and look shakily at the body with suspicious glances around. Any islanders present would be hastily ordered to back off with no uncertain gesturing with their rifles.
Then, wrapping the corpse in a tarp, the body is loaded into the back of the jeep, and it speeds off back towards the labs.
