In a split second they were no longer at the beachfront, somehow they were at the arena. Trei was attacking, with a smirk she stood and lifted up her gun. Firing she sent two bullets toward the golem. She had no intent of them actually going though the earth, but with two copper jacketed lead bullets flying at a mound of earth that covered the mage’s head, had to do something. Suddenly she felt weakness, and faltered back; immediately she realized that once again her marble had vanished. Digging through her pocket she hurried to find the marble she had obtained from the parrot.

[OSHII---]

The swords thunked in, solid hits both, but still, Brad felt no pain until...

KRAkABOOM!

The golem toppled forward, falling to its knees as beneath the armor, Brad was bleeding.

This turned out to be lucky for him. The bullet's would go high, thudding into the golem's head which was, as previously clarified, just a little bit higher than Brad's.

They'd pass straight through it, with nothing but eight inches of dirt to stop them.

[Post marblepwn]

Trei forces himself back to his feet, blood dripping down his cheek to mix with the sand below. What a bunch of BULLSHIT! He'd just gotten that marble, and now it's just up and poof! Why the hell was that crazy red-haired b***h even after the damn things!?!

"Ge...Get up! Get back on your feet..." Trei's pissed. He honestly can't even swing a sword anymore, but he doesn't care. He needs this guy to get back up, so that he can at least attempt to vent his oh-so-sadly-impotent rage...

"Get... the hell... Ublurch!" halfway through his last word, Trei vomits, a sickly glob of blood pouring from his mouth to the ground. Is the sickness hitting harder this time?

Rain didn’t care if the bullets killed anything, she was just happy she shot something. Whether it be a tree to sand she was happy. She fumbled forward, the mage’s marble had to have vanished too. If he had any spares then it was possible that Trei and Rain would walk away. If he didn’t then one of them would walk away while the other crawled or died. Taking her left hand out of her coat she held her only spare marble in her fist. "Armageddon, let the light in" she grumbled the words to one of her favorite songs. It was fitting for the moment.

The golem raised itself to its feet, and turned to face Trei.

Seeing the Blood Elemental vomit, he thought to take advantage of the situation. Pulling one big ole fist up, he would send a right hook flying at Trei's side.

The girl would be a problem, but for now Trei was the more immediate threat.

[Post marblepwn, cont'd. ]

Trei brings up his blade, attempting to catch the strike and at least post against it... however, all the energy in his body is pretty much gone now, so he's not able to do much. His "block" keeps him from getting crushed, but he can't keep his feet... without so much as a "OOF" the young man is sent flying through the air, landing with a nasty thudding sound. When he struggles back to his feet, a nasty gash can be seen running down his right arm...

He'd landed on his own blade.

he maintains his grip on both blades, though... they hang loosely at his sides, and he sways with the withdrawal illness rather than his normal coiled readiness.

"That's... it?" Trei chokes back another retch, watching the earth mage warily. "I'm so gonna... breaach..break you..."

In a swift movement she slid her sleeve up and snapped the marble in place, the weakness was fading quickly.

((Has the mage’s marble vanished or not, it should have since he is just like everyone else. He obtained it and equipped it. Thus meaning it should be gone. Please correct me if I am wrong))

((NPCs are immune to bitchslap.

He's not like everyone else; he doesn't have the tattoos that allow you guys to use them safely.))

The Golem advanced towards Trei, feeling bad for having to crush one so obviously weakened. But he was an enemy...

Turning to advance on Trei, the Golem would present its side to Rain as it walked towards him.

It would draw its fist back, and throw an underhand jab at his stomach.

That is, if it wasn't stopped along the way.

((Ah, forgive me))

Raising her arm she steadied her gun and fired three more jacketed lead bullets. These were aimed at the fist that was aimed at Trei. Although they had met what seemed like less then a day she wasn’t going to let him die. Dropping the magazine her left hand slid into her jacket and produced another. Sliding it in she began to head towards the mage turned golem. Gun aimed.

Trei brings his arms around, creating a boxer's block (with swords) as he attempts to break the force of the golem's blow. Like before, though, it's a weak guard at best, and the young man is lifted up OFF the ground by the hammerfist.

Again, though, he laughs at the golem.

"Drink deep of my blood..." the words are accompanied with a defiant grin, and a hunk of blood being spat at the golem's chest/face area (trei can't aim so well, after all...) " 'cause I intend to drain all of yours..."

Big words for someone who can barely block, but hell. Trei's not about to give this b*****d the satisfaction of a surrender...

Rather, the young man focuses everything he's got, calling on both the light and dark aspects of his strength. He's groping in the dark... he doesn't truly care which of the two powers comes to his aid, he only cares about one thing.

Ben Grimm here has got to ******** GO...

((Forgive me, I had a moment of panic there.))

The bullets went through the earth, stopping at the stone beneath. They stayed embedded in the fist, which still packed a bit of a wallop. But the being was obviously weakening...

The spell holding it together was beginning to lose its force, ebbing out of it.

Continuing forward, but staying out of the golems reach Rain fired three bullets. They were shot in a triangle pattern. Two spread out at the bottom and one above those. These were aimed at the mage’s higher chest, wherever the hell that was on the golem. If there was anything Rain was good at it was aiming. From the looks of it the mage was going to fail soon. Not from injuries but from weakness, from what she could see it was getting hard for him to keep the spell strong.

((I knew I was forgetting something. sweatdrop ))

Again, in through the earth they went, this time cracking the stone but not breaking through it. The golem turned, ignoring Trei...and broke into a run at Rain, one fist held out to the side.

Trei was weakened, spitting blood, which landed on the Golem's chest, right over where Brad's head was beneath it, in fact, into the hole Trei had made earlier.

Trei was weakened, alright, but the young man was not out of the fight. He needs to distract the b*****d... otherwise, Rain's gonna get hammered.

C'mon, c'mon...

Trei focuses with whatever's left of his strength, willing something, anything, to answer his call. If he still had the vault, it would be like diving into the pool of Darkness and calling on the Wisps at the same time. Now, though, it's a blind striving, a hopeless fumble for any strength that remains in his battered body.

"I'm not...." The young man sways back to his feet, his entire front practically coated with blood; the b*****d won't be able to ignore him... "Done with you..."

There... a glimmer. Trei reaches out and grasps it, pulling whatever force it is and willing it to manifest in his right fist. Staggering, lurching, the young man "charges" (or attempts to) towards the golem's back once more, pulling back for one more haymaker...

"Yet!"

((Random generator will determine which Path Trei follows;
1. The path of the Battle mage, the combination of nul-elemental "Force" magic and melee combat
2. The path of the blood elemental, mastery over Blood Will and other blood skills.))
