The night was windy. The girl named Kashi made her way down the road away from the village where she had spent the first month. For all the time she'd spent there, she didnt think of it as home. She hadnt had a home since she was fourteen and her village had been destroyed. She had no idea what had happened to the others, she had returned from hunting and found the village sacked, but very few bodies. Perhaps the others had been captured or had fled. She'd searched for days but found no sign. Shaking her head she kept walking. She tried not to dwell on the past. Tipping her head up she let the wind dance over her face.

Yune was quiet. She’d been in the same position for what felt like hours. Her hands were on the ground and her knees against her chest. She was hidden in some bushes and trees along the dirt road waiting. She ha heard something earlier about bandits and well they had rewards out for returning their things. She was almost out of food money so it would be a good idea to help these folks out though so far nothing had happened. Only a few people had passed and Yune was beginning to think that someone had lied. So sighing she climbed out of her hiding place and brushed herself off. With a defeated sigh she decided to come back tomorrow but right now it was getting cold and she was hungry. Smiling she picked up her bag, slung it over her shoulder, and began walking to the nearest town.

“Round and round it goes” The small pale girls whispered. Her hair was white as snow and her eyes gold but emotion less. Around each finger was a small little circle that could be mistaken for a ring of hair. Invisible strands led from that little ring to each limb on her puppet the puppet was much taller than she and held two large fans. When she placed a bit of magic into them blades appeared on the ends causing them to be deadly. “Cut threw the weak and destroy anything that moves.” With a wiggle of her fingers the puppet known as Nagami moved quickly slicing threw person after person. Men, children, women, demon, human nothing mattered to her. She’d kill them all. She’d make everyone atone for what was done to her family. In her eyes they were all guilty. She cut them down one by one till she stood in the village and not a thing moved. Even the family pets had been slaughtered. Nagami returned to her side and sat down. Sasori climbed into the puppet’s lap and curled into a small ball looking much like a child. Sasori was a demon, she could never grow older or taller so she was fated to forever be a child and continued to remember what happened to her family. And because of that she would kill everyone. Because of her child appearance it made it easy to gain people’s trust and she took pride in that small face. As she looked around she wiggled her finger “Nagami watch for people” Her and her puppets shared a bond so if the puppet saw something it could actually wake her.

So looking like a small child, half covered in blood, she took a little nap in the puppet’s human like arms. To outsiders they looked like survivors of the massacre, mother and child but people who knew them… well there weren’t any.

Izel gasped in surprise and dropped to the ground on one knee, her expression deep in apology.
“I am terribly sorry, your highness. I never meant to… I did not think you were referring to me.” She explained, looking down at the ground.

Bandi chuckled and pulled her back up.
“You forget, Izel, that I am no longer a royalty. Beksam is no longer a kingdom, but a republic. You and I are on the same level.” He said, looking into her eyes.
“Now. It’s been an awful long time since we last saw each other. How have you been?” He asked. He then heard distant sounds of screaming, typical of a massacre.
"I'm sorry, Izel, but it seems that we're going to have to cut the reunion short." He said and pulled her with him.
He eventually led her to a village where everyone were laid slain and only a pair, perhaps sisters, were left.

Sasori woke from her nap and looked up at her puppet. Nagami was warm and she could have been mistaken for a human for anyone who couldn’t sense that she had no soul. She sat up and pulled Nagami’s arms around herself feeling safe as she looked around the bloody village. Every man, child, woman and even the dogs had been slain. She had enjoyed it but the blood from her family had not been repaid. She slowly stood up and examined her blood stained clothes. Turning she wiggled her finger and Nagami stood as well. Because the puppet was infused with some of her magic it could act on her thoughts which of course let Sasori do what she needed to do sometimes. Nagami picked up the demon child and held her like a mother would her own then turned. Sasori wanted to see more blood shed and she would have it if she had to go around taking out every village in sight. The blood taken would be repaid with interest.

Izel looked around her surroundings in shock.
How could anyone commit such horror?
She looked to the side at Bandi, who had his sight set upon everywhere but her direction. She replied his silence with equal silence.
She then spotted two girls who were in each others arms in the middle of an opening in the village.
"Oh my..." She muttered and slowly approached them carefully.
"Are you alright?" She asked them in genuine concern.

Nagami looked at the woman and smiled pleasantly "Bad idea miss. You should run while you still can" She looked down to Sasori in her arms who appeared so half asleep and bored. "Once she realized someone is close then she will come into full conscious and that wouldn't be good." Nagami normally warned people it was her gift. She was allowed this because the puppet was made to resemble her mother which meant Sasori put in the ability to feel in this puppet. It was her greatest work yet. Nagami slowly set Sasori on the ground "you should run."

Bandi's eye flashed and he reacted quickly.
He yanked her backwards away from her and brought his staff up, the blade part facing forward.
"I'm guessing that it wasn't an army that did this?" He asked with a smile on his lips, but his eyes were sharp and his brows furrowed.
His hands that held Izel behind him were tense and small toungues of flames played around his arm.

“Of course not. No arm could even wish to do this” Nagami said as she looked down at Sasori who was shaking her head and coming to conscious world. She lifted her hand and pulled it back over her head “oops” Nagami whispered as she was pulled back behind Sasori and became silent. The child like demon stood and stared at the two people. “heart beating” she said softly and looked around at the dead people then back to the living. “Nagami you didn’t do your job” she said angrily at her puppet though she was really yelling at herself. She pulled her hands up and moved her fingers. To this the puppet moved her body and pulled out two large fans then took her place in front of her “The blood must be repaid” she muttered Sasori’s expression never changing. Nagami smiled but now that Sasori was awake she couldn’t say a word.

Izel stared at the little girl and the taller girl sleightly shocked.
She then felt her self being yanked back, almost stumbling. She looked back at the duo apallled.
She then came back to her wits and kicked her case, which popped open. Her two blades popped out and she held them in both her hands, her arms tense.
