i was looking through amvs, and i saw a shaman king one of... i think horo and ren were in it. and i though these guys look familiar... and i remembered seeing it on tv once... so i started reading the english translation, and got addicted. heart

The supernatural. Enough said there. I was a big ghost believer previously. I'm not much into it now, but I still can't help but think of it since I watched Shaman King... Don't think I'm weird! >.<

Honestly, I come from a different standpoint when I got into the anime. Yu-Gi-Oh got me interested in anime for some time, long before I saw Shaman King. Then about 5 years ago I started getting interested in the native american side of my family, particularly the spiritual side of it.
One day I was browsing the Graphic Novels section of Barnes and Noble and I saw Shaman King. I picked up the book and started reading the first volume. Been hooked ever since.

I saw the series while waiting on Fighting Foodons and Ultimate Muscle. It seemed like it had an interesting story line. So since then i was hooked.

I either first saw it on the old 4Kids or read it in Shonen jump, still do as a matter of fact. Not sure which I saw first, guess what really hooked me was the ghost and travels.

My sis introduced it to me.
I watched the first show on 4kids tv and I fell in love with it already!
Lol! Then my sis bought all the mangas which I fell in love with too!
We also have a Len figurine from an anime convention in Boston!

I walked in when my brother was watching the dub on Jetix, sat down watched it and came into watch it whenever he did.
But as i started watching half way through as soon as it finished it started from ep 1 again so i was happy :]
I haven't yet watched it in Japanese cus i've been busy xD
