-K o- Asch, I just didn't like him. He's terribly weak (especially in the last fight)and there's something about his attitude that makes me hate him. In my opinion, his death was also pretty pathetic as well. But, alas, it's a vital part for the ending. Mohs is a close second. It was tedious and aggravating how he kept rambling on about the Score. It's great that he dies anyway. What?! HOW was his death pathetic? He had platoon after platoon of oracle knights attacking him, and he died, still fighting with like 6 swords STICKING OUT OF HIS BODY...

-K o- [.Rebirth.] Wingless Wow..so many Asch haters. This is unbelivably amusing.XD! I really loved Asch.Think of it like this.. If your whole life was altered, because some replica took it over, and you pretty much lost everything, would you be mad? XD!Just think. Asch 'could've' gone back, but he decided not to. Yes, I would be angry. Though I would rather to make amends than having an attitude like that and fighting for the 'rightful' place. Of course, I wouldn't know how it actually feels like until it's possible to do so. And Asch has to be ::SPOILER:: stabbed by weak Oracle Knights and ::SPOILER:: dies::. I lost full respect in Asch's character at that moment even though Asch was weak already. I give him credit that the first time you battle him, he's fairly hard. He's fast as well. I thought it was going to be the same difficulty, but I was very disappointed when fighting him for the last time. All in my opinion though. You're so incredibly misguided.. He really COULDN'T have gone back. After his life takes a certain path, he knew it was the right one. He couldn't have gone back, because he had way too many things to do, he was fighting hard in the very end, and really didn't even have space in his life. he didn't even KNOW his parents anymore, think about it, almost half his life he spent seperated from them. Another point, even though oracle soldiers are weak, you have to realize that he was facing tons, and tons of them. Here, I'd like you to go for a little test run. Play with Luke alone, set the difficulty to very hard, and fight without anybody else in the party alive, against say.. 3 of them. Then take that, and know that Asch was fighting about 20 times as many, and was being attacked when he thought that it was clear, and he was connecting to Luke.Very Hard mode introduces a more realistic perspective, as even though you may be very strong, you aren't a god, and any person has a chance at killing you.

Obviously Mohs, and... Anise. Anise just pisses me off. She's a self-centered little brat who's obsessed with female bodies.
And anyway, even if Asch can't go back, can't he just get over himself and stop being such a b***h. Jeez, I can't believe anyone can be that bitchy, that long.

Well, he could've accepted Luke's offer in Grand Chokmah. Though Asch was too stubborn to realize that he and Luke are different people. My arguement might be flawed in many, many ways since I haven't played Abyss in awhile and I might be "misguided" so you speak, but my opinion on Asch will not change. I hate how Asch acts superior and I hate how stubborn he is. Also, I dislike Luke's fighting style so I only play as him when he has Overlimit.

I don't care if you argue points, but if it gets to personal insults it will stop, alright?

Urg, I think the only one I truly hate is Mohs. Then again, you're SUPPOSED to hate him! I also have a mild dislike for Sync. *hides behind wall to avoid getting pointy objects thrown at me*
I just noticed something, Both Symphonia(TEH POPE) and Abyss has evil religous leaders that make you want to stab them... Is Namco trying to make athieists out of us?

Is Namco trying to make athieists out of us? I think they're trying to make a point out of zealous religious tendencies. As you must know, often the religions are partially right in the stories of the games... the thing that you have to question is if you should do everything they say. But um... "Yes, they are trying to turn us all into 'evil' athiests" Sigh... there's no place in the world for us athiests...

*can't believe she hasn't posted in this thread yet* D:
Er....well, I didn't like Luke at the beginning of the game. His personality just got under my skin, and whenever he did something stupid, I'd yell at the TV and insult his "tiny peanut brain". But...after some time, I didn't hate him as much and he became my first ToA bishounen obsession :0
I didn't, and still don't, like Van. >__>
Mohs' pisses me off...alot. Especially after ::SPOILER:: Ion's death. DX
I didn't like Anise at one point, but I got over that.
It was the same with Natalia. Her snooty attitude got on my nerves, and when she came into the story, I was a die-hard Luke fangirl...I didn't really like the idea of some other girl ((Besides Tear and Anise)) liking, or even being in an arranged marriage, with Luke >___> I refused to put her in my party...but when I found out she was a healer, and after some time, she was pretty cool XD
So now...I only hate Van and Mohs :3

Alpine is the character I disliked most. His attitude is annoying inappropriate for someone of his status and also for the duty he has to perform. Seriously, where does his loyalty really lie?

I can agree with all the points made about Asch, but that still doesn't mean everybody has to like him. I still don't. I know he had reasons for the way he acted, but his attitude still bothered me throughout the whole game. He even kept up that attitude when people were trying to help and accept him.
Sure, man, it's okay to be upset, but sometimes it felt like he was just acting like that for the sake of keeping up some sort of reputation. It bothered me. I just don't like people who are constantly rude and bitchy.
Luke's attitude at the beginning of the game was annoying too, simply because he didn't look like he was trying to learn anything or be social. But I liked him after he cut his hair o:
I don't really care for Mohs, but I don't dislike him either. He was just acting the way that he was probably raised to- and he was awesome in the sense that he never gave up on what he believed in.
Oh, and I also dislike Nephry's invisible husband. He makes my favorite pairing impossible canon-wise, and he doesn't even show his face. D:

Wheeeell... Mohs would be the obvious answer. Also, despite his redemption, I must also say I didn't like Spinoza.
Then there's Legretta. She angered me because she was so "holier-then-thou:, and she was a really damn hard person to fight.
