I love this place, it's like a schizofrenia-fest! I think the part of the brain which controls emotions is the midbrain. It's the thingy near the top that's kinda shaped like a bird's head, but I could be wrong. *checks notes* Nope, totally wrong. It's the amygdala. "Twin almond shaped structures, which rest on top of the hippocampus." So Simon would have a smaller cerebrum, large brainstem and hindbrain, and a large thalamus with an underdeveloped hippocampus maybe? The extra space left by the smaller hippocampus would be taken up by the enlarged amygdala..I think..
Suggestions for Cadentau please? Because of the recent metaplot, he's going to be having some serious dominance related issues. Especially since an adult male will soon be invading his home. Before the metaplot, he would have fought the attempt to "take over his pride", but now that his confidence has diminished greatly because of what happened to Paxton, he's either going to fight harder resulting in a huge confrontation over the possession of Wolfie, or distance himself because he feels that he has been beaten and leave the pride. Wolfie, who still has some degree of psychological control over Caden, isn't going to allow him to pull rank on Nick (the new guy), but Caden's lionlike instincts will not allow him to remain in a pride where he is not dominant. Most likely, he will try to form a coalition with his dragon, and I have no idea how this will work out. Ideas?

Eh... not fond of the wetsuit idea for Nibal. I would think that'd be worse than just regular clothing...
Caden: Hmmm.... getting a step-parent is hard enough in the first place... Maybe he can distance himself from Wolfie and Nick, essentially seperating himself from their 'pride' and forming his own with his dragon and possibly some female friends? He would see himself as the leader of his own new pride, though it would still cause problems at home when Nick or Wolfie tries to tell him to do something as he wouldn't see them as being over him, more like he and Nick were equals, each a leader of his own pride. But, he might still hold some childlike respect for his mother....?

Yes yes, that sounds about right! XD I learnd about all of them but I have trouble with the names. D: Other than the fact they called the brainstem a lizard brain. XD
As for Niki: Iunno. *ponders* How much control do they have over their venom secretions? Alot of frogs are just when threatened but I don't think that'd be the same for him. XD Perhaps D-corp could design some medication to lessen the toxin's effects at certain times? Like a pill he takes whenever he's gonna be around people. XD Kinda like Chath was given a skin care treatment to lessen his skin's sensitivity.

Hmm...for Simon, I was wondering what would happen if any another D-Corp got bullied in front of him by others, being called a freak and such. Then he might stand up for the poor kid? : D
...Perhaps that could happen to Alora as well, and she couldn't stand it, and "KAPOW!" she decides, to the heck with peace! xD Hey, that MIGHT work. :3

Hmmm... a pill might work... not sure how exactly. I mean, the only other thing would be to lessen the diet supplement, though I know D-corp would want him to eat it to make him toxic for their own reasons and such... XD
*has just spent quite some time looking at websites* I can't find anything either way, really. Most of the websites say that the toxin is secreted into their skin. Only like one or two mentioned glands and even then it wasn't mentioned if they could control it or not.
Actually, the toxin has to get into the bloodstream (*has known this for a while*), but Peri and Nibal don't know that... Peri had a cut on his hand when he first figured out that Nibal was poisonous... XD *is evil*

Nibal can just wear a shirt that says "Wash hands thouroughly after contact, avoid contact with eyes, and mouth, if any contact is made contact your local poison control." like he's a bottle of bleach. :B

Eto.. I would like some input on Aysel. It's a very formative time for her. I have a few ideas for the girl but..
Tara's ideas: Aysel's going to want to grow up very quickly... So she'll be interested in acting like the teenagers in the books she reads. Boyfriends, make up and ecetera. (Like quite a few kids I know who wear bras and shave even though puberty is still years away). Since she's about 8 (3rd grade ish) she's going start getting "Guys= boyfriends!" and such. I'm just.. Iffy on whether this is good or bad or blah. And if I/Aysel continues down this path.. Who and how?
Thank you for your time.

If she's getting into that mindset, I can see her gravitating toward the "bad boys", so to speak like Cadentau and Simon (horrors!). All the girls I've known who start acting like that - that's the kind of boy they get interested in. Whether it's good or bad...depends on who she sets her sights on - whether or not it's someone who would eventually settle down and her with him.

Actually I could very easily see that happening in teen stage or something. Or a 'crush'.
Yeah, see I only have my cousins to go by and I'm not exactly privvy to their lovelives.. Except for when they sat me down and explained the facts of life from a nonparental view.. sweatdrop
And I'm not sure Aysel would every really settle down. *pokes the girl* She won't tell me yet.

I'm sure Caden wouldn't mind getting that started. He's the worst heartbreaker though, since he doesn't really beleive in monogamy...and he'll probably be kinda sexist too. All in all a terrible boyfriend. *nod*

Simon's going to start trying to "pcik up chicks" as much as possible to appease his peers, so yeah he's entirely possible too.. XD Though i think he'd scare the crud out of her.
I suggest maybe making a group of girls for her to get involved with, like SImon has his gang members, because it leads for easy manipulatable substance that would happen. The kids arn't strictly stuck with other D-corpers, afterall, and since theres a select few of D-corp kids that would fit the same steryotypes, since everyone loves diversity, and still be her age... I'd say make up a few friends that are just random "unknowns" from Gaia, give them names, a bit of personality, but not much more. XD Then you can use them for scenerios, and in other PDs.
When I see girls get that way, they also have to have their little posse, that they go to for advice. And thus, if the other girls say "oh he's cute" she'd feel lead to say "Yeah he is cute" wether she thinks so or not, which leaves for alot of fun. :B Or you know, the oposite, "Ew, you talk to her?" "Uh.. no no, I jsut knew her as a child, we're way over now!" Mm friend crushing drama. XD
