"Always with the red..." Lloyd muttered as his knee almost gave away. HE mumbeled something under hes breathe. "The kids pretty strong. He must be pretty popular in Mizuho." He rubbed the back of his knee for a moment before standing back up to his full height. "I agree, privacy is a virtual."
((Virtue, but hey, Lloyd's vocab didn't improve as much as he would like.))
Lloyd seemed to have expertly dodged running back to the conversation, but after the second realization the kid was there, considering he forgot a moment, he decided not to pursue it. "I don't know either..." He said, regarding to the reason the mayor had called her to attend. "I think it has something to do with us two being a part of 'The Group that Saved the World'."

Sheena nodded thoughfully, at his last statement. She then wanted to let Lloyd know he wasn't off the hook that easy, though. "I assume you'll be staying the night her, In Luin... I think we need to sort a few things out. It's getting close to someone's bed time and after that we could speak more freely."
Ichigo pouted "Don't talk about me like I'm not here, Sheena."

"She's good at ignoring. Zelos the 'chosen' is responsible for that." Lloyd remarked idly. Turning his attention back to Sheena, he nodded slowly. "I suppose so, yeah. I'll wait around Raine's statue over there." He said, pointing to the statue of Raine Sage about twenty feet away. "See you then." he headed over to the statue, and sat on a bench.

Bedtime story, lullaby, hugs, kisses, glass of water, tuck in, sweet dreams, bla, bla, bla, fast foward, Ichigo is in bed.
Sheena walked through the empty streets, not quite sure what she was going to say when she reached her destination. There were a million things she had to say.
When she reached the statue she sat down on the bench, next to Lloyd. Out of all the things she could of said, only one word came to mind. "Hey..."

Lloyd nodded. "Hey. So, I suppose we never properly re-introduced ourselves. More or less there was a falling out, or falling into water." He said, looking over at the pool of water some yards away. "So..." He coughed, not sure of what to say. "Hey Sheena, I've been taking a needle everyday till hit a thousand for you!" That's not a good topic starter. "Hey Sheena. Lets..." Wow. I'm really bad at improve. He couldn't even get the correct vocab words in his mind. "What did you really want to talk about?"

Sheena sighed and slouched over. "A part of me always kind of thought you'd come back.... if not to ask me to come with you, maybe just to see how I was doing... I always kind of thought we were.... close, I guess."
She was looking at her feet, she wasn't really sure what she wanted to talk about, but she knew it was important and had to be dealt with. "I never imagined we'd meet like we did today... by accident."

"Your a chief." Lloyd said simply. "I didn't stay, I didn't come back, because I thought I'd just be, y'know, a nuisence." He scratched the back of his head. "You've got duties, your always busy. I bet more then half the time your not even near the village." he said, taking a chance, grasping at straws. "I didn't want to meet up with you like this, for the very reason of what happened. I hate the prospect that I may have hurt you more."

"If you didn't want to hurt me you shouldn't have left me behind like that." Sheena said, getting flustered and upset. "By this point, even if you had come to check on me it would have been too late for it not to hurt. Were you just going to avoid me for the rest of our lives?"
She felt like there was a black hole in her stomach, and it was sucking in all of her other organs... she felt like she was going to implode if he didn't give her a reason. But, chances were there was nothing he could say to fill the void. This was Lloyd. He just acted. He didn't think of excuses.

"I thought I'd be trouble. I thought I'd just be in the way. An outcast, to some of your people." He sighed. "I didn't want you to put up with me, so I to go alone." I tortured myself every day for you in apology. his mind murmered. "I expected you to hate me by now, really." His hand clenched the bench side. "I would have actually.... Perferred it." He admitted. he didn't wait for her to express any emotion to the admitence. "That way I knew you'd try to forget me, I wouldn't hassle you that way." I know it's a little selfish too... "Selfish right?" Wait, didn't mean to say that.

For the first time since she got there she looked at him. "Don't you think I tried to hate you? I tried so hard to forget you, to move on, to stop thinking about you when I thought about the past... But I can't. That time, when you said you had wanted to be a ninja... I had always hoped you'd meant it. If you did, then my village would have accepted you. You have the spirit of a fighter... they would have seen that."

Lloyd blinked, completely taken aback. She had tried? Why didn't she succeed? Was it just wishful thinking that she would? "You were still made Chief... I still had my Missio- That's not the reason, I have no reason to say it was." He admitted, chopping his sentence. "Wait, what? But you said there was only one way of becoming a Mizuho ninja, right?"

Sheena nodded. She opened her mouth to say something but her heart felt like it had jumped into her throat and all she could do was make a small, uncertain sound before closing her mouth again and looking away.

"Sheena... You didn't...." Lloyd reached out a hand unsuredly. Had he been wrong? Had she actually returned his own feelings, even though he didn't know them himself?

Sheena turned her body away so her back was to him, and she pulled her knees up to her chest. She didn't know how to answer him because she didn't know how she felt. Well, that wasn't true... she knew she felt hurt and alone without him.

"Sheena... You didn't... you couldn't have... why didn't you.. why didn't I...." He was stumbling over words. Very uncharacteristic like of you Lloyd. His head stated. You never stumble words. "It's all my fualt." He managed out.
