I don't really know how it happend. I was 5... eek . I guess my dad bought it, I played it, and thats it. I was hooked ever since.
Am I the only Sonic Fan who has loved Sonic since the beginning yet only seen mabye 2 of the really old cartoon episodes? I lived in a very poor home until I was 10 so cable was not an option. The only Sonic cartoons I ever really got to watch was Sonic X. Kinda sad really...

I got into sonic stuff two ways. When I played with a friend who had the SEGA Channel. The games we played were Sonic 2 and 3. I played Tails. heart I also watched the SATAM cartoon. I hated the AoStH a lot when I was little (no real plot) . They would alterate it with the SATAM on the channel I watched it on. I curious if any one saw the show called Might Max? It would come either before or after the SATAM. It would take me some years to play the Sonic games again. Sonic Adventure 2 (Battle for Gamecube) is a Favorite ( I love playing with the Chao heart ). I'll have to wait to play again, because my Gamecube broke on me and I'm too poor to get a Wii. sweatdrop

Although it was on almost as soon as I got out of school, so I didn't tend to catch entire episodes.

Yep, I'm familiar with the mighty one. Careful with that nostalgia stick, I might not be able to take much more! mrgreen
As for Sonic, I was introduced with the very first game. Which was, um, rather scarily long ago. eek

Ditto, of course - I still remember the first game being in development, back when Sega were seriously talking about making versions for the likes of the Amiga and the ST, rather than Sonic being format-exclusive.

I still have my A500 and software in the attic.
I actually found a copy of the PC version of Sleepwalker in a charity shop the other day, which brought a few memories back. smile

Nuala Another victim of the Reset Bug of Doom, I take it? That got mine, as well. sad Unfortunately, mine fell foul of the "Stolen along with all the games from a box while I was moving" bug. wink I wouldn't have been too fussed, but they took the memory cards too! I spent hours working my way through Shenmue! crying domokun

I learned about 'im in kindergarden when I went to my friend's house on the street. I saw the first Sonic game and fell in love with it, but didn't really get to playing it until I got Sonic Advance for the GBA and Sonic Adventure 2 for the Dreamcast. I think I came in on a good part of the series. By the way, I love both Sonic and Shadow. They're always my top faves.
