"Don't cry, Jade. I too beleive that Nikolai is Heaven Sent. with a face like that and a care for you that large, how could he not. The most important thing is that you now have a little boy to take care of and watch grow." Kemuri said with a charming smile to the lady. Her prediciment seemed bad but it seemed to turn out good with a little boy, Nikolai.

Wiping her eyes dry, Jade smiled once more in a more stable fashion. "I'm sorry, I'm just happy to have him." She murmured quietly, holding Nikolai close to her. "I just thought... Angels fly away someday, right?"

"No they don't. They might, But i'm pretty sure Nikolai would stay with you." He said as his eyes started to tear up. He wiped his eyes at the thought of leaving this life, with the people he love... with the people who love him... with the people who took him in and accepted him. He smiled at Jade. "They will come back. don't worry Jade. And if he does fly away to serve a better purpose, You can always count on everyone to help you." He added with a gleaming smile and some tears dripping from his face.

"Ohh...." Standing up, Jade moved to sit beside Kemuri at the empty seat next to him and hugged him with one arm. "You're sweet Kemuri, don't you go crying on me either."
Nikolai didn't stir when Jade moved, nor when she hugged Kemuri. Sleeping soundly in the crook of the woman's arm.

Kemuri nodded as he wiped away the remaining tears. "i won't cry if you don't." He said softly with a smile, trying to to awaken the herald boy. Heknew it would be a big fuss if the little one was waken up by noises and how cranky some kids can get. Though Kemuri trusted his instincts that Nikolai would scream and cry if he was awaken.

"You really should think of children of your own." Jade murmured, shifting Nikolai from her arms into Kemuri's. "In the mean time, you should get some practice in, eh?" She added with a smile.
The little thumb slipped out of his mouth as Kemuri woke him, and very sleepy eyes blinked open to look up at the much larger Herald. He whined quietly, not able to understand why he'd been woken up so early, and stretched out on the man's lap. His little wings stretched out of their mittens, and quivered slightly from the strain before he relaxed against Kemuri. Somehow, he seemed completely comfortable resting against the man.

Kemuri soothed the young herald's soft white hair. His hair was soft and thin, not course like his, or blue for that matter. He held nikolai so close to him that he could practically hear the young boy's soft heart beat in a steady motion. 'i guess i was wrong about my instincts...' Nikolai hadn't cried, he was actually well behaved even in the arms of a stranger. Kemuri ran his fingers softly through the little one's hair.

Wiggling slightly, the child smiled up at him. It tickled a bit, being coddled like that, but he didn't seem to mind in the least. The little mittens twitched on his back, and Nikolai curled up to get more comfortable on Kemuri's lap.
Suppressing an 'awww', the woman looked on with a fond smile on her face. "I think he likes you." She whispered to him, looking to Nikolai who was attempting to return to dream-land.

Kemuri watched the little one, not even noticing Jade's soft 'aww'. He watched Nikolai sleep, not running his fingers through his hair anymore. The young boy wasn't heavy and Kemuri's legs weren't tired. He barely felt anything on his legs. "Nikolai feels so light." He said softly to Jade. He saw the young one's wings twitch. He carefully placed the wing mitts back onto Nikolai's wings, not letting his wings become cold.

Reaching up to the hood of his sweater, Nikolai pulled it over his head to hide his eyes before playing peek-a-boo with Kemuri. He didn't say a word, but he still giggled every time he lifted the wooly lamb's head hood.
"He's only as big as a toddler." Jade laughed at what Nikolai did, smiling fondly at her son. However, when she looked up to see where she was out the window she gasped softly. "I almost missed my stop! Kemuri, would you do me a big favor and look after Nikolai today? You can bring him back to the bookstore in the next town over, some one will be able to point you in the direction of my home."

"okay." Kemuri said as he giggled with the little boy without actually regestering the question into his mind. He watched and laughed along with the little boy. Kemuri touched Nikolai's little nose.
'WHAT?!' Kemuri thought to himself. But when he looked up, he saw the essence of Jade leaving the bus, no time to chase her. 'a bookstore, eh? I guess i could look after this little one for a while.' he thought to himself as he looked back softly to the young boy.

Laughing, Nikki caught Kemuri's finger as the hood fell over his eyes to blind him. The smile melted into an expression of confusion since he could not lift the hood and hold the finger that poked his nose at the same time.

Kemuri pulled the little boy's hood off and gave a teasing smiley face to the young one. His finger seemed to be caught by the little one. 'i'd better not speak, or else i might scare him...' Kemuri thought. It'd be horrible to try find Jade and Nikolai's home while Nikolai might be crying over the missing presence of his caretaker. He rubbed the soft skin on the boy's face softly.

The boy squealed with giggles when Kemuri touched his face, relinquishing his hold on Kemuri's finger to hug the older Herald. It was only now that he looked around to notice that Jade was missing. He didn't cry, though the laughter stopped abrutly, and began looking around with a frightened expression. Jade had ment it when she'd said Nikki was a quiet boy, and he didn't look like he was going to be making a lot of noise even when he was scared. Gripping hold of Kemuri's shirt, Nikki stuck close as if expecting him to disappear too.

Kemuri hugged the little boy close. He placed a hand under the boy's bottom and one arond his shoulders and stood up. he saw the book store that Jade might have been talking about. He saw it pass and the driver pass the stop. He walked towards the driver when the bus swirved and crashed into a tree.
Kemuri held onto Nikolai as he fell on his side. Kemuri could see the other people holding on, many unharmed and the old man coughing. The bus driver had passed out.
