*LP watched nara and sighed* he just doesn't know when to take a joke. *looking to erae she offered him a ride apon her shoulder* Come on we might as well start looking....
*she watched acia leave and then looked aorund the island* so.... umm, now where shall we start? *shifting slightly, all thou almost all thought had kinda left her after the comment nara had made.*

*With the added aide of the conjured wind, they make excellent time. The craggy inlet looms out of the growing seafog. The noise of fierce breakers sound on the rocks. If Moo had come up against these rocks, she'd have been dashed to pieces. He winces, picturing what such a meeting of crag and swell would do to a body. And at this point, there's hardly a place to land safely.*
*Nar steers clear of the danger and heads round the side of the island, looking for a place to beach and start their search*

Acia's eyes widened in shock as the crags loomed up ahead of them, thoughts immediately echoing Nar's. Subduing a sob, which came out as more of a strangled whimper, she pulled her eyes away and turned them instead to the water. The whole island couldn't be crags, she reasoned. Though how likely was it that Moo had missed the rocks...? Not very. But she was alive! Acia could tell! But....where?
"There are caves in the cliffs," Acia murmured having finally returned her eyes to the 'shore'. "Lots of 'em. Do you think...maybe she's in one of 'em?

*Nar grabs hold of the rigging and leans out over the spray and fog to see. Indeed, she's right. Those are caves.* I don't know.. But I can't sail into any of those openings. They're too small and the water's too wild. We'll have to look for a calmer place. And a bigger cave. Or we'll have to land on a beach and walk* All this he shouts to her over the clamour of the midnight sea*
If you can sense her, she must be alive, and I doubt she could've survived those rocks. She must be up ahead.
*he moves on, around the island, scanning the shore for someplace they can safely land. Luckily, there's a small inlet not too far away* Acia, is she anywhere near? Where do we go? Should I land?

Silently, Acia nodded her reply, staring out across the water at the caves. Speaking was pointless; Nar probably wouldn't hear her over the ocean anyway. Her eyes followed the shore, a soft sigh of relief escaping her when the cliffs gave way to dark sand beaches. True, the beaches were scattered with boulders and more caves, but at least there wasn't a risk of being crushed on the rocks. Immediately Acia regretted thinking this. But Moo was alive, so she hadn't been crushed on the rocks, so why couldn't Acia think it?
....Yup, she'd just confused herself.
Snapping back to reality, she glanced to Nar, then back to the beach, gnawing thoughtfully on her bottom lip. "I... She's on the island, but that's about all I can say. It's too faint... She can't be far, though, or it wouldn't have gotten even this strong..."

*Nar has trouble picking up all of her words over the tumult, but he catches a few, and more importantly, the gist of what she's saying. Even if she were trapped in one of the smaller caves, it would be easer to try climbing there than going by boat. He steers carefully to the first bit of shore he can find, grounding the craft, and hopping out into the frigid brine to drag her ashore*
*The sound of the sea is unimagionable, crashing all around them, and working up a fierce wind. He takes Acia into his hands to keep her from the frore drizzle and goes crunching up the driftwood piled in the cranny of the cove. He gives his head a shake, inefectively trying to keep his hair out of his eyes. There's a sizable cave nearby. Is it possible she could be in one of these?* Tell me which way, Acia.

Nodding slightly, Acia looked around, attempting t pick out the right direction... But there was too much distracting her! The sea, the rocks, the wind--the wind! "Stop it NOW!" the glider suddenly shouted, wishing beyond hope that the gale would leave them alone so they could continue their search. And it did. The wind vanished without a trace, and, though the see remained rough, they were at least abe to hear each other now.
Acia flashed the vampire an apologetic smile before glancing around once more. Sighing, she closed her eyes, searching for the direction the connection seemed strongest and pointing--straight towards the large cave on the beach. "That way."

*Naraka twists his head around, a look of absolute shock frozen on his face* Did you.... just turn the wind off!?!?! *He gives his head another shake. He hadn't known the velvets to hold such powers. He'd have to ask later. Ffor now, though, there are more important things at hand*
*The entrance to the cavern is rough and long, but more than big enough for them to enter. Here, the movement of the ocean sounds hollow and reverberating, vibrating the rocks to a steady hum. It's dark, hideously dark, but they're both equiped with the eyes of night animals* Look! *Naraka points to the rough sand beneath their feet. There's a long, dragging path. Moo must've come through here. She's somewhere in the cave... He walks on*

"Oh, yes," Acia replied absently, more interested in the cave up ahead. "I've been able to mess with the wind for a while now. Little talent of mine." She shrugged, not finding the subject particularaly interesting. Altering the wind was a daily occurance for the glider, nothing particularly special... though it was fun.
A shiver ran down the glider's spine as they entered the cave. But despite its appearance, she could understand why someone would seek shelter within it, especially with the gale outside. Acia's eyes snap to the drag line in the sandd as Nar's outburst, beginning to feel more hopeful. She had to be here! She had to be, she--"There!"
Moo was curled up on a patch of dry sand against one wall, sleeping fitfully. She had obviously been there for a while; her skin was pale, with a faint bluish tint from the cold, and one side of her face was caked in dried blood. The wound itself cut across one side of her forehead and dissappeared into her hair, though, judging by the blood, it didn't end there. Otherwise, she seemed unharmed... just tired.

*Naraka slides swiftly and silently across the rough floor to Moo's side. He puts a hand to her and finds that she's far too cold. A dunk in that water would be more than bad enough, but staying here for hours...
He takes a quick look around. First of all, he'll have to get her out of her sopping clothing* Acia, do me a favor and grab up some of that driftwood, would you? There's some right near. Just pile it up. I think she'd be best off of we built a fire here, instead of just carting her back.
No need to worry, *he mutters as he strips her of her seastained, soaking garments, keeping her still and quiet with his hypnosis, if need be* I've seen plenty of girls naked before. Just a little dry humor to take the edge off..... *once she's free of them, he takes off his velvety cape and wraps her up in it. It's a little damp from the sea, but not nearly so much as what she had on, and it will be able to keep her far warmer for the time being*

((:OO *Censors Moo*))
The glider reluctantly pulled her gaze from her guardian, nodding faintly in reply to Nar. She knew there wasn't much she herself could do for her caretaker, so she was thankful for something to do to take her mind off things. Immediately she set to work gathering driftwood, searching the cave from dry pieces before venturing out to pull some in from the beach.
A faint murmur of protest was Moo's only response before lapsing back into silence, one hand batting weakly at Nar's in a hopeless attempt to keep him from undressing her. Though almost immediately she fell still once more, chattering teeth the only sign that she was still awake. She seemed to relax slightly once the cloak was around her. At any rate, her teeth stopped chattering...though she may have just fallen back asleep.
Acia had already managed to build a small pile of driftwood. She wandered back into the cave, dragging a large piece behind her as best she could, shoving it over to the others before turning to Nar, gasping for breath. "These... good 'nough?"

(( XD being R rated is better than being frickin' freezing ))
Yes, that'll do. We might need some more later, but I can get those. Here, hold on. *he takes his lighter out of his pocket. This is going to be just a little difficult... At least he's this much. Picking out the dryest of the bunch, he sets to work building a little fire and gradually adding more when it's at a safe size to do so. He spreads her clothing out on the rocks to dry in the growing heat and snatches her up to sit with her close enough to feel its warmth. Now, he takes the opportunity to have a look at her head. If she's a concussion, or any other brain trauma, it'd be best to take her as soon as she's warm enough* We'd better get her awake, I think. To see if there's anything terribley wrong. Moo. Wake up. *he gives her a very gentle shake of her arm* Moo.

((XDD Works for me...
Merf, I'ma head to bed @_@ Fallin' asleep at the comp. G'night, Nar!))
Once Nar had gotten a fire going, Acia had discarded her task in favor of checking on Moo. She climbed up the cloak to sit on her guardian's shoulder, the side opposite from the bloodied wound so as not to make it worse. At Nar's suggestion, the little glider immediately began tapping Moo's cheek, pulling her ear, anything she could think of to wake her guardian up. "Moo? We found ya, you can wake up now...."
Moo responded with another soft murmur, wincing and turning her face away from the pair, pulling the cloak more tightly around her. Even this little action seemed to exhaust her, however, for she fell still seconds later, breath ragged from the cold...the echos of a smile playing at her lips. She was obviously enjoying the fire.

(( OK... since Gaia won't let me edit, I just make a new post. :F ))
*Nar sighs* It's alright, Acia.. Let her alone for the moment. *he takes Moo up into his lap to spare her from the hard, rough floor and squiggles up to the fire. His black clothing and the cloak soak up the heat and soon are very warm. After carefully examining her pupils to find that they're normal, he decides what she needs most is rest for the time being. He looks with lurid, sleepy eyes into the fire and adresses Acia--* Well, we've found her. And she seems alright. She really should go to a hospital as soon as we get back go the main island. I wonder where Kanth is and if the others have found her. Well, we'll find out. If they haven't yet, I suppose we can take up the search. *after a little thought, he adds* We're really very lucky we found her. I don't know how much longer she would have lasted out here in this cold and wet
