Bettina returns from tuckin' in Her Highness, and notices newcomers. She wrings her hands fretfully in her apron and sighs. Ah sweet Brigid, help me with these here lost souls.
"Alright, now, who's for bed? I've got porridge and bread for those of ye that be needin' it."
Without waiting for an answer, she heads to the kitchen and begins bringin' out the platters of soup, porridge and bread to the great table.
"If ye're eatin', ye'd better be bringin' your soul in here," she calls from the dining hall, "Or the wolfhounds will surely be gobblin' up all the leavins!".

Ocean heads over to the table & seats herself. She is terribly hungry. "Thank you for the food",she says to Bettina, "I'll be needing a bed for tonight & hopefully for not much longer after that. Do you have a room with a fireplace? I need to get the cold out of my bones."
She starts to eat her food & glances over at the others who are still gathering inside, wondering if she'll have time to finish her food before the others come in to eat. Being anti-social, she prefers to be alone. She hurriedly eats her food so she can head up to bed.

Upstairs, Kirana has found herself unable to sleep.
"Damnation. This is ridiculous."
If there was one thing she couldn't stand, it was the inability to sleep. With the way she lived her life, sleep was necessary.
"It's the chill in the room,"
she thought to herself."What manner of place doesn't keep wood at the ready?"
The princess donned her cloak and made her way downstairs to find some assistance.

Kaylia entered the main hall. This building belonged to her, and while she'd normally leave the business in the hands of her sometimes capable underlings, there had been an upheaval of sorts recently, leaving her no choice but to dismiss some of her people. She overheard a man asking if he could have a job, and by his size, she thought he'd make a fairly decent guard.
She glided to him on slippers made of the softest lambskin and tinted purple. Her dress was made of finely woven silk, and flowed around her like gossamer.
She held a hand out to him, and said, "I can take no issue with your offer. We've rooms on the third floor for our people. As for wages, at the moment I can offer you little. However, you will be compensated in the form of weaponry. In the morning, I shall take you on a tour, if my manservant is still on his hunt."
She began to turn away, intent on addressing the others in the room.

Ki hadn't realise how long he had been sleeping in the kitchen, but once he woke up, he jumped up and peered outside.
Seem a bit busy....What should I do?

Damien stood at the end of the bar, in the shadows. He watched the princess come downstairs, a haughty look upon her lovely face. Funny how the righteous were quickly brought down, and he looked forward to having her beg. On her knees, preferably. Damien was not normally cruel, nor did he look to cause pain, but this one.... this one was different. He could nearly taste the mage blood.
And then another woman entered the room. This was the one to speak to.
"A room, mistress, if you please," he intoned prettily, cocking one thick black eyebrow and flashing a brief glint of smile. His ice blue eyes glittered.
