Richard echoed the laugh with his own. "You think your confused? I was a biologist, the changes nearly violate physics, let alone biological concepts. I know some scientists that must be rolling in their grave right now, and not all of them are dead!" Funny joke or not Richard found it amusing.

Shenzi shrugged slightly to his question, turning back to look over the cliff. "A... Frriend told me, thiss iss a good placce to think. I thought I changed a few dayss ago, so I wanted to come up herre, but..." She trailed off, thinking again of the memory lapse, which definately worried her.

"Oh? Who was that?" Richard smirked a little, he was still as nosy as ever. "As for a good place to think." Richard peered over the ledge. "I'd think better with a parachute." It was a nice place, but Richard found it was a little too... exposed for his tastes. Far too open, even if it was nice and high.

"Joliette. Lizarrd woman." She said, thinking back. Or, what was left of a woman. At his words, though, Shenzi smirked slightly, without humor. "Ssomehow I don't think that'll make a differrencce forr me, laterr on."

"Ah Joliette. I know her." Richard wondered how she was getting along. Although she had told him that she was living with her boyfriend now so appearently well enough. He looked up at Shenzi's naked wings. "Frustrating isn't it? Useless limbs. His own extra appendages wiggled unconsciously.

Shenzi gave an unladylike grunt of agreement, glaring over her shoulder at the offending appendages. "Yeah. Goddammed chicken wingss." She mumbled under her breath, wiggling them in the vain form of what would, in a few months time, be large sweeps.

Richard chuckled at the skeletal wings flapping. He got to his feet. "Well, I should get going. I've got alot to read." He patted the books under his arm. "Thanks for the CD, it... was very interesting." With a wink, Richard reached down and ran a finger tip over the rim of Shenzi's ear. "Take care."
After that he turns and heads back into the forest, tail lashing behind him.

Shenzi gave him a small smile in response to that. "Enjoy it, sincce therre won't be anymorre." When she felt his finger run over her ear, though, she couldn't help but feel a small shiver ripple over her skin, under the feathers, but she waved to him as he left. "You too, Rricharrd."
