With much struggle she got up. Soaked in soda and got herself to sit down coughing it all up. When she was down her head flung back and started to gasp for air. She opened her eyes then looking at Jedrek. "Jedre-" She said in a soft; drowned voice. Did..he save me...? She pondered the question and looked around. It had been only seconds from awakening... that drowning sensation moved like chills through her body.
"Yo-you saved me.." She said in a soft voice. She struggled some to get to him; but when she did she opened her paws; hugging him softly. Her eyes closed shut. She was really thankful to have him near. Or... she probley would have died. She feathers slicked down to her body; soaked and the shine was taken out of them.

he supposed, or so it seemed, that she was happier to have several broken ribs, and a torn side, then to have drowned. perhaps he made the choice she would prefer this time.
"so it is what you would have wanted?" he asked tonelessly. eyes following her as she moved in and hugged him. though he made no movements or gestures as she did this. he simply let her do what she wanted to.

She winced in some pain and coughed up some more soda. It hadn't felt good. She didn't know if she was hurt or just scared of herself drowning.
"I.. I am glad you did what you-" She yelped and sighed trying to gain her thoughts. "You did. If Not I would have died.." She nodded and shivered under his paws. Her paws searching a place themselves to settle in the huffed terror.
It seemed night at the swamp. Though. It was actusually getting darker now that the sun was setting. Her eyes paled from the excitement but now strarted to regain their color. That dark enteral dark black that almost hid within the setting's sun's pelt.

he continued to remain silent, staring blankly down at the emotion filled Numa... though, while he watched her, he felt nothing for what she was feeling. felt nothing a normal person would in this situation... he could not even remember what those feeling would have been like.
she had also said something that he found others saying... expressing fears, and discomfort at the fact of dieing. yet, they rarely acted scared or discomforted around him.
he found the living to be very contradictory.
"we are going back" he informed her, deciding to go back to Candy land.

Beatrice thought for a moment. He decides things but he can't feel. Interesting enough. She extended her wings but quickly retreated them on to her back. It hurt to move. It hurt immensely but she would pull her own to get to where ever he was going. She thumbled a little to the floor and risen herself back on on all her paws. Her tail swirled around a little and she came up by his side. Panting.

noting that she was not walking normally. her breathing and stride had changed, as did the structure of her face. something had changed. pausing he glanced back at her, watching as she tried to keep up
"you are struggling" he spoke, saying the obvious.

"Y-Yes.. ju-just a little." She shivered fiercely. "Not-t-to wowrry." She coughed some to the side and limped around. All sore. She didn't know where the pain was coming from but she had just felt weak all over.

he was not worried, but he slowed his pace to help her keep up.
he knew very well that he did that to her, but there was nothing he could do about it. he didn't dwell on it like, his mind quickly moved on to stare at the path ahead of them, though it lingered on a question that had been brought up in him mind.
"how long do the living take to heal from broken bones?"

Beatrice thought about it a moment.
"I don't know. Maybe some weeks, others days."
She shrugged and limped a little.
The path seeming darker. It was getting to night and her wings tried their hardest to extend but retreated from the pain.
