Ikonik Angel Oooh. I have GCSEs soon. Damn those. Who says I think? Good luck with your GCSEs! I almost had to do the GCSE exams two years ago. (Instead, I moved to Sydney, and when I arrived, I started year 11 out of 12, effectively skipping the third-last year of high school. xd ) Non cognitas, ergo non es. xd

GCSE maths is easy. I almost did early entry (in year 10), but my coursework wasn't good enough. (I only got an A... sweatdrop Only people who got A* get to do early entry, but the exams are really easy.)
Science is also easy, but somehow it covers most of the stuff that I had to do for HSC preliminary (which is equivalent of the next year up).
English didn't feel that difficult but I only just passed. (For English, one exam is done at the end of year 10, and the other one is done at the end of year 11, unlike everything else where the exams are at the end of year 11.)

Your GCSEs sound incredibly similar to our CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exams). They test to see if students learn the standards from each class.
You want to know how easy the math section is? Question #1: What is the square root of 49?
Real question. I'm not kidding.
It's a pity that some students aren't...so motivated to learn. Our high school education is quite crappy.

Well, I suppose it's not hard, but I wouldn't go so far as saying easy. I have one piece of coursework that's A*, one that's D (stats -- awful subject, have to take that as a full GCSE too). Science is the easiest subject ever, and physics is practically elementary maths. And English I took a year early. Got A in both language and lit. But I didn't bother re-taking. Other than that, Humanities is like a moral version of English, so boring but easy enough (I don't really try, probably have a B), Textiles should be okay as far as I know, French is just aas easy as science (exams-wise) and stats I will fail. ^^
