Well, it never happen to me... (>^^<)" All of my friend knows about it, even they really like to read it in the class.
When there's no teacher in my class, most of my classmates will bring mangas along and exchange with each other, then we begin to read it. After read all those mangas, we will give it back and then give our opinions about our manga. (>^^<)
I miss those days... *sigh* T.T

Tch, they are too used to American crap comics. It's annoying how dumb they are. They're missing out on a lot, but they'll never understand. "If you don't know about it, don't ask or touch my manga. stare " That works sometimes...

I've found most people don't ask that because the ones stupid enough to don't even notice the questions I get are like "who's that on the cover?" or "why is the book so... weird" they like the pictures on it

i don't mind if they come up and ask about the manga cause i sometimes ask others wat they're reading, but what really bugs me is when the same person will ask you five times about practically the same thing!

I've only got that once or twice. Most of the people I know, don't care or already know how manga works...

MrsPiccolosWife I guess it's annoying, but you really can't expect anyone to know that it's Japanese manga. I agree that the people who won't shut up or grab the manga out of your hands and damage it should be beaten repeatidly with said manga. However, if someone asks "Why is that backwards?" once, with a true sense of curiousity, than you should just kindly explain that that's the way it is in Japanese. The problem there is sometimes if you do that they still don't get it. I had to do that to almost my entire capentrey class. And since I was the only girl they barely listened. This being with three of my Shonen Jumps. And even after explaining only one actually understood and he was a freshman while the only senior still didn't get it.

I'm just glad that I didn't have Naruto volume 1 with me. Mainly because of Naruto's Sexy-no-jutsu. Cause then I may have been thought of like that. Too bad, I starting to wish I had taken it.

Being 23, I get the question of "Why are you still reading comics?" then they realize that it's backwards and wonder what the book is and how I'm able to read it like that. Personally I don't mind answering the questions, until like the opening message says and they ask you over and over.
I've been reading manga for so long that I flip through magazines and text books from right to left.
