If Lucas could look at Ecavi, he would, but since he can't, he decides to leave the matter of Ecavi to the girls to deal with, and turns back to his brother. He feels a bit overwhelmed by everything going on around him, and all the clashing, strong emotions emanating from almost everyone, except his brother. As usual, Raul is a haven of apathy against the leaking feelings bustling in his mind; the black thule sends power flowing through the link, effectively erecting shields for his brother's mild empathy--for now. Lucas' wing stretches out to touch Raul's cheek in wordless thanks; the Hate thule doesn't recoil from the caress. Not yet, at least. His eyes close and he leans his head into his, his tail giving an appreciative thump against Ara's thigh. Too preoccupied with the goings-on between the girls and their guardian, the boy's caretaker doesn't notice.

Ceri finally just turns and clings to Myze, her crying stops but so does most conversation from here. Myze continues to stare at Ecavi for a moment longer, before looking back towards Lucas and Raul.
Ecavi sighs, relieved that whatever was happening has ceased for the moment, she looks apologetically at Ara, "Wow, this isn't going well at all, is it?" She laughs awkwardly. She eyes the aduthule, all four of them.
"Why don't we go for a walk," she suggests, looking at Myze and Ceri. Maybe moving around would occupy them all.

"Now there's an idea!" Ara smiles, setting the brothers down. Getting up, she walks a few steps to pick up Luca's discarded sheep. She hands it back to him, Raul keeping the soft bear tucked against his chest possessively.
"Are we going to stick to the park, or are you planning a little Durem sightseeing?" Ara asks Ecavi, glancing from the woman to her boys, whose walking is wobbly at best.

Ecavi stands up and offers a hand to Myze and Ceri to help them from the bench. Both stare for a moment before finally Ceri reaches over and takes the hand, looking up at Ecavi with a strange gleam in her eyes. Luckily, she did not start crying again- instead, she scrambled over Myze and got onto the ground. Myze, a little reluctant, allowed herself to be helped off the bench as well.
It was a start.
"I think we should stick to the park," Ecavi says, looking over all the aduthule once more. Considering their size, and the boys walking abilities, it would probably be best that way.

Ara nodded, relieved. The idea of having to cross the street again...was not a pleasant one. "Sounds good," she agreed.
Lucas' good spirits were coming back, and he began humming, very softly, under his breath--it had no tune nor rythm, but the sounds he was making couldn't be described as anything else. With his sheep in one hand, dragging it along after him, he brushes his other hand along the top of the grass, enjoying the gentle feeling.

Ecavi nudges Myze and Ceri gently, "Alright, get going girls."
Ceri blinks, considerably less cheerful at the moment, but brightening once more. She takes several steps straight ahead, before going off to the sharp right. Myze follows a straight path, and then watches as Ceri goes off. She keeps an apathetic eye on her sister, watching as Ceri comes back to walk with her.
Myze watches as Lucas walks through the grass, and as Ceri speeds up to catch up with him. She stays quiet but walks along beside Lucas, listening to him hum.

Ara grins at the sight of the four Aduthule. "Gods, they're adorable..."
Lucas notices there are two people walking beside him; a twitch of the ear tells him one is Ceri, with her fast little steps. The other he isn't familiar with; they have an easy breath and long strides. His brother provides a name: Maiz. He knows she is the one who angered his brother, but says nothing. Instead, he turns his head to Ceri and smiles at her, before resuming the humming that had stopped. It is barely audible over the constant shuffle of the sheep plushie dragging along in the grass.
Raul is staying away from his brother, as the white thule has strictly forbidden him to cause a ruckus with Myze. Bored, he listens to his brother 'sing', snorts at its lack of tune, and occupies himself with other things. Namely, making an inventory of breakable things in the appartment...

Myze stays near Ceri, who happens to stay beside Lucas. Her violet eyes stare ahead, trying to figure out where the walk should go, rather than just allowing everyone to wander aimlessly. Not that she'd mind losing some of the people here.
Ceri, oblivious to the possibility Myze is the problem here, walks along quietly for a moment. She returns the smile Lucas gives her, and notices that his walking is rather wobbly. Her and her twin, having been around for a long time (despite lack of growth), can walk pretty well for their 'age'. She blinks, and with a smile takes a hold of Lucas hand in hopes it helps him walk steadier.
Ecavi smiles, and nods at Ara's comment, "They are."
(( XD I keep thinking corn when Lucas and Raul think 'maiz.' ))

(( .. I think I've had this discussion many times with people here xd I'm learning French, I guess. I've been taking french since grade 3, though only in grade 7-11 in a more advanced way, though never immersion.. *cough* I've been dying to speak french lately, for some reason. ))
Ceri beams, picking up the tuneless hum as she walks along with Lucas- not seeming to mind at all when Raul moves to her other side.
Myze's eyes narrow when Raul moves in beside Ceri. She holds her hair pin tighter, but slows her pace so she walks behind the other aduthule instead of with them, removing temptation and doing her best not to ruin Ceri's good mood by sending her angry thoughts.

Myze stays in her spot behind the others, her eyes moving to the sheep when it gets caught in the grass. Ceri stops walking and humming when Lucas pulls his hand from hers, she takes a couple steps foreward and turns to see what he's pulling at. She blinks.
"seta fir," she murmurs taking a step towards the flowers.
Before Ceri can move to help, Myze has already moved to the sheep in the grass. Since the aduthule had stopped, she'd had a chance to catch up- and it was an alright distraction from Raul, and this thule was Ceri's friend so..
With a soft sigh, Myze pulls the sheep free from the flowers- not effected by the soft plushie the same way Ceri is.

Lucas, having not yet realized his sheep was set free, yanked again, sending himself tumbling back into the grass. More surprised than hurt, he spends a few seconds staring at the sky before realizing what just happened, whereupon he grins and sits up, hugging his sheep. He rewards his benefactor with a happy grin; Raul growls low, indicating his disapproval of Lucas being friendly with 'the enemy'. Lucas aptly chooses to ignore him, hoisting himself back up, as best he can.
((Tu t'en viens chez nous? =D It's always good to know an extra language (or two, or three. xD), you never know when it can help, for a job or otherwise.))

Yes, languages help. I know french well enough to get by. I'm learning Latin, but i'm not sure that would help me much XD ))
Ceri beams at Myze after she frees the sheep, pleased that her sister seems to be much kinder now. She ignores the fact that Raul is growling and waits for Lucas to return so they can continue walking.
Myze's ears twitch when Raul growls, but she doesn't return a 'comment' in any form- well aware any physical thing she does would be useless (unless she attacked him, which she wasn't about to do). She resumes her place some steps behind the others.

((Ah oui, c'est vrai... *is stupid* x3 Latin can heko if you're learning a language with lating roots, or if you're making a career in science.))
Lucas takes a moment to pick up his sheep, grabbing a flower also. Turning, he sticks out his hand in Myze's direction, offering her the flower. He can't see it, but it's a dandelion, bright and yellow and possibly longer than he is. He looks quite pleased at his own ingenuity.
