Yes, that true. But at the same time, I would be far less surprised of Dib being an experimental Prof. Membrane clone than Tak being some sub species of Irken.
Also, this is random, but I completely forgot to mention the age difference in my list earlier. That throws a lot of people off when it comes to ZaDR. Like one of my friends. She likes ZaDR, but has to not think about the age difference or it completely creeps her out and she has to stop reading. Heh heh.
The age difference isn't an issue with me, however, considering Zim's...uh, maturity level or lack thereof.
sweatdrop And besides, most people make Dib older in their fics, anyway.
I personally think Dib would be almost out of High School before Zim even realized he had any strange feelings towards Dib. Because...well, I love Zim to death, but he's pretty dense.

3nodding You know, the age difference never really accurs to me because Zim's emotional maturity really is as low as a child's a lot of the time. It's strange, but I guess Dib is rather mature for a kid, an apparently humans at that point, so I would call extenuating circumstances on that. They're all the same mentally.
3nodding I still like the idea of Zim making the first move, though. I any relationship, really. It's just too cute.
