"why we always gotta be treaten dem nice, iffn they kick and scream at us. Don' seem right Da'." Beau said with a shake of his head, he couldnt fathom why it was right for his sister to fly off the handle at them and they still had to treat her nice.
Kitara's expression sofened from a mask of worry, into motherly love as she saw her daughters form behind the bush. She sank down and laid beside her, yet far enough away to give her daughter some room. "I know hon... Boys are pig headed and seem to have it in their minds that we must be weak or cottled. " He sighed and streached her neck out to her daughter, nuzzling her very softly. She had laid down so she could be on the same level as her daughter...and speak to her as an equal. "They dont mean to do it really.. Its something that is programed into them."

"I gonna Keep an eye on'er from far away." walking around in a circle he stretched his side out so it didn't hurt as much. "She mean."
Stupid sister. She'd learn when she got in trouble and they werent around to save her. Then she'd regret telling them she could handle things on her own.

"'Cause not all of 'em are gonna kick an' scream... An' da ones that do are gonna get strong talkin' to's from their momma's 'cause kickin' ain't nice." He nodded slowly. "'Course... Maybe she thought you two were bein' mean too?"
"Ah'm jus' as good as any boy." She sniffed as she made her way out of the bush towards her mother, leaning her head against the older female's neck.
"... I bit Beau." She wasn't proud of that, looking back on it... But she figured it was better to admit these things to her mother now before her brothers could tell on her. "... And butted Sedi. But he was askin' for it."

"Why would we be mean to 'er! She started it!" he said with a stuborn pout, he couldnt possably see what had been said to make her react the way she had. "I though she wanted to play, she said she was jus' as good as us." he added with a shrug of his shoulders.
Kitara laid her head to rest on her daughters side, nuzzling her softly. "Everything is ok hon. At lest you know you have done wrong. You are a little spit fire dear, your brothers where probably just trying to bring you back to me like I had asked. I would like you to appologise to them when we come out of here, alright? You wouldnt like if if they bit you when only following what your Father asked of them, right?"

"She just being stubborn." He hadn't done anything but what mamma said. Beau had jumped in and that hadn't helped but that didn't mean she should have done that.

"No, Mamma, Ah wouldn't like it if they bit me..." She wouldn't like them and, chances were, she'd bite them back twice as hard. "But Sedi' called me a stupid girl. An' they said Ah should play with flowers." Her nose wrinkled. "Girls don't have ta play with flowers, do they?"
"Ah don't care who started it. It over now an' when she come back with your momma she gonna say sorry an' your gonna say sorry to..." Anticipating their protests he gave them a mockingly stern look. "Jus' gotta remember d'at sisters are ladies too... Even if they don't act like it none."

Kitara looked at her daughter with a soft grin, yet her wild side wad truely showing by the glimmer in her amber eyes. "No dear... they where just saying that because girls normally like flowers. You dont have to play with flowers if you dont want to. I never did. " she chuckled. "I... always raced with the boys and played rough. Show them you are just as good as they are... with out picking a fight." she added that last part with a stern look.
Beau sighed a bit and flopped onto the ground with his little legs splayed out around him. "Girls are complicated. Momma's not this bad..."

"Das cause mamma's nice." He walked around in a circle as he tried to look at his side. It wasnt working as he planned and eventually he stopped. "Why i gotta say sorry? I didn't do nothin."
She was the one who'd got all mean about things. If she didn't like it then she could have said something and not gotten all angry about it and hurt them.

"You gotta say 'sorry' 'cause it better you do it on your own d'an wait for your momma ta tell you to." He made his way slowly towards Sedi, leaning down so that he could be eye to eye with the colt. "You say sorry an' mean it Ah take you boys out runnin' without your momma an' your sister... An' maybe you'll get somethin' special out o' it."
"M'gonna tell them you said that." She nodded slowly before giving a little hop, backside wriggling while she looked back towards the way she'd come from. "Ah won't fight no more, momma."

Kitara smiled as she stood and shook herself free of the grass that had clung to her side. "Good, You tell them that.. and then you just start acting like you normally would. Be yourself, You dont really have to proove anything to your brothers. You are fine the way you are and take great pride in that. "
She walked with her daughter to the mouth of the forest, and then paused to let Atsila take the lead if she so desired.
Beau sighed, he would say he was sorry because he was. He hadnt ment for her to get so upset... he just didnt understand why all this had happened in the first place. The little colt looked towards the forest with a face that lightly resmbled a frown. "yes Da'."

He snorted and scrunched his nose. He'd say sorry since it would get him running but he probably wouldn't mean it. He hadn't done anything wrong his sister just decided to take it the wrong way.

She caught up to her mother, gently nuzzling her head against the mare's leg before running off ahead. She stopped just short of her brothers, eyeing them both cautiously. "Mama says Ah have ta say sorry for buttin' you, Sedi... An' sorry for bitin' you, Beau."
He coughed, clearing his throat as his brow lofted at his daughter. He was trying not to laugh... Laughter wouldn't get him in anything but trouble with all of them.
Her nose scrunched slightly as she made a face at her father before looking to her brothers once more. "M'sorry." She really wasn't... At least, not completely. Maybe just a little bit.

Beau looked up at his sister and nodded his head softly. "Im sorry for makin fun of you sis.. I didnt really think we where." he admitted to her. " I didnt mean to make you feel bad."
Kitara raised a brow a Remy and smirked softly herself before she walked up behind Atsila. Listening to the appologies being said. She knew there would be many more down the road of life, but hopefully they could see how valuable they would be to eachother.

He wasn't really sorry but since she had apologized he might as well too. "Sorry fer calling ya stupid."
He still thought she was a stupid sister and not a lady but his father had told him he needed to say it. Remy had promised him running too if he was good and said sorry.
