I got into a huge fight with my boyfriend the other day about rape. Well, at first it started out as a discussion and then it turned into a fight. He was actually trying to say that sometimes it is partially the woman's fault for getting raped. So I kept telling him to give me an example or a case or something where it was proven that it was partly the woman's fault. He wouldn't give me any examples or cases.

He tried to relate it to stuff like: when that European newspaper printed those Muhammad cartoons he said they were partially at fault for the Muslims rioting and killing people. So I asked him if they were aware that the Muslims would riot like that over a bunch of cartoons and he said yeah, so I asked him to give me a similar situation where that happens in rape and he couldn't think of anything or if he did he chose to keep his trap shut, probably a good idea too because I was about ready to kick him in the nuts. stressed

Stupid...stupid...stupid...I am pretty pissed at him right now. I can't believe anyone can blame the victim for rape even at all...it's just sick...

Personally, I would break up with any man* who blamed the victim for rape. Clearly, he doesn't understand consent or a person's right to not have their body used against their will. If you can't talk some sense into him...

*Or woman, if I went that way.
